These people want to be active in the OOC and it's up to us to be sure that topics don't become overly offensive to everyone. When OOC gets heated here everyone starts pissing on one another because it's anonymous and no one cares about hurting anyone's feelings. So what do moderators and administrators do? Hive, no offense or anything, but you probably deserve to be laughed at in silence by the staff members just because you were restricted from shitposting and memeing for thirty minutes. If staff members and players have to be subjected to your low-bar, childish humor clogging up chatbox space for people who WANT to keep OOC on in the event someone asks a reasonable question or wants to discuss something half-decent in a civil manner, then OOC probably deserves a time-out. The fact you weren't even given a note or OOC/LOOC mutes was surprising. Most of the other server staff that I've seen in action myself are more than justified to mute a couple idiots from talking for the rest of the round. We call a neutral stance on the furry situation as long as neither side try to force what they think onto the other side. So when people start going on about Tajarans being super cool/rubbish whichever and people start using phrases like "you pleb", "fucking" (to try and reinforce their opinion) "you started shitting out your mouth" Staff will intervene. All I have to add to this is you are lucky Doom was the dealing with this issue because if it was me it would have been muted at [21:26:270] or [21:27:54] or [21:30:58] when personal insults were thown around and people had already been told a few times to take it to the forums.
