Gollee Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 What it says on the tin; what do you want DO/CCIA to do? Mini-events? Quotas? etcetera. Do you have any opinions/complaints on the severity (or lack of) of punishments? Do you have opinions/complaints about fax conduct? Anything you think is relevant, go ahead. Quote
Jboy2000000 Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Wasn't this posted already? I think I remember this post, or something similar, from before the forum deletion limit. Either way: Mini-Event would be fantastic, we already had one from Campin who came aboard for departmental reviews, and ended in a very windy dinner. And it seems like ever since the yellow tide arrived, that actual productivity of the DO Corp has slowed down, in terms of IR reports. Quote
Gollee Posted April 10, 2016 Author Posted April 10, 2016 It got wiped, ALL of my recent DO things got wiped. It was annoying. Xander is spear-heading another mini-event right now too. The number of interviews has increased, from what i can see (Think); however, I am bringing in a new method which should make it much faster and more interactive here: http://forums.aurorastation.org/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=5819 Quote
Jboy2000000 Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 I seen that, and it's cool, but I mean in responding to IR's. There reports sitting without response from the DO Corp from the 9th, 8th and the 5th. I know last time I brought something similar to this up you said you said sometimes they're just missed, but they're sandwiched between one IR that got activated recently, and all the rest. How is that possible to miss without just not looking at the Incident Report sub-forum? Quote

This may be related to the recent forum issue we had; A few things got messed up and disorganized as a result of posts and threads vanishing on us. Quote
Garnascus Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 More, more, more, I want more self-sufficiency. I want you guys to feel more comfortable and have the power to affect things IC more, regardless of antags involved or not. There's a lot of red tape now around what CCIA can and can't do, is like to help fix it. Quote

Getting CCIA's involved with antags, and having hostage situations with them could be real engaging. I still say we need to be able to tell which gamemode it is though. Quote

I am fine with CCIA being a hostage but I personally think Command Personnels should be the one deciding the course of action. Here's an Example I'd like to avoid: CCIA#1 is taken hostage by Sir Griefer. CCIA#2 or NanoTrasen Officials steps in out of now where, even contacted by Command Personnel, and takes charge or decides orders. Command Personnels being unable to do anything. I'd just prefer Command Personnels being able to decide for themselves. "YOU DIG DAWG?!" Quote

If they're not alive then it would fall on security to get them out of there. Central would only likely get involved if security or station heads aren't able to resolve the issue. Quote

I think the most you'll see of a CCIA 'taking charge' is 'Drop those damn weapons before I get shot by this terrorist, or I swear to god, you're all fired if I get out of this alive' Quote
