no one is ever really interested in political parties on server , but if you want to add it as a loadout item , you can.

Honestly, I've seen a couple of events where things got very political. A lot of players are actually pretty active in Martian politics too, it's just under the radar and subtle.

My only thing is that we should probably have more armbands for the other various parties and organizations, I only know of a couple.

According to the wiki lore we have four major Sol parties: GAIA, ATLAS, Workers Party, and Utopian Front.

I know we also have a couple other non-Sol based ones including one for synthetics.

We shouldn't JUST do ATLAS but we need concepts and colors for the other parties. Also, would ATLAS use a red armband? Should it be brown? Then maybe Workers can use red. Was thinking Utopian Front could be white or maybe light blue.

Quite frankly, the spriting and coding should be easy once the concepts are down.

Pretty much this. But, you hardly hear about GAIA, Workers Party, and Utopian Front just because ATLAS supporters are the most loudspoken and vitriolic. It would be nice to give the other major political some exposure, but ATLAS is the only one of those four major Sol parties which really seems to leak in Tau Ceti politics. The Social Democrats and Tau Ceti Republicans typically dominate politics in the Republic of Biesel scene with ATLAS coming in as a strong third party.

Good point. What Tau Ceti political groups do we have? I know nothing about them.

We could start with ATLAS, Tau Ceti Republicans and Democrats, and UTOPIA. Just need colors and a little image to represent them (or making it up).
