The worst fuckup in Toxins History.

Gather around,ladies and gentlemen,and hear the story of the worst Toxins fuckup ever.I was working in the Toxins lab,building bombs, nothing unusual. As always,I was playing the character that I use for pretty much everything, Gerald Grant (You all remember him,right?).So I was cooling some oxygen on the outpost andheating some phoron, blah blah blah. I was going to try a 25/75 phoron/oxygen composition,instead of a 33/66. The first TTV bomb has been constructed after a lot of bickering about a bubble shield blocking the way to the testing site. The bomb was detonated,and was rather disappointing. Aaaanyways, I then decided to experiment with single tank bombs,because I didn't feel like adjusting the gas temperature for a 33/66 composition.

A little lesson on single tank bombs. They are made by pumping an explosive gas mixture inside a tank and then attaching an igniter/anything assembly. To make one,make an igniter/signaller/proxy/anything assembly,secure it with a screwdriver,and attach it to a tank filled with an explosive gas mixture, then use a welder on it. Sounds simple.

First,I tried to use a bomb with room temperature gas,that didn't work. So then,I filled a new tank to 600KPA with chilled oxygen, and was going to pump my heated phoron in there in the vain hope that the new STB would work. Needless to say,it worked,kinda.

I put the tank inside the phoron canister,open the valve,AAAAAAND:

The tank blew up,I was gibbed, and then bwoinked for it.

I was there! But, honestly, as an engineer, I've seen much worse screw ups happen in toxin labs. Plasma fire > miscalculated kaboom x5.

I was also fixing that. Not the biggest bomb I've seen accidentally go off, but probably the most destructive single-tank bomb set off by a non-antag that I've seen.

One time I was a engineering cyborg doing jack shit and sitting inside secure tech storage (every one was freaking the fuck out) and sorting files (IC excuse for watching YouTube) and toxins was active blowing shit up. So that time comes around were they start bugging engineering to fix the test chamber and I said I will take it, I got around to the test chamber with a maintenance toaster taking muh job so I such it up and start to head back. Almost to the airlock and BOOM test monitoring is gone with a bald scientist missing arms and legs exposed to the vacume of space. So I reported it and started dragging him away and I think he states in LOOC "so that's what that does" or some shit, luckily it was a 3x3 bomb and only resorted with that maintenance, and to toxins being vented
