I like my office dark like Noire. However, if you put the light in the room. I will tear the light bulb off the light fixture, and bend it in half and put broken light back up to make my room dark without anyone noticing.

But, hey. That's just me.

There's this cool new thing all the kids are trying called a lightswitch.

I'm with UM on this one, the darkness suits it and is more intimidating,

In fact, we should remove some light from the detective's office

I'm of the personal opinion that the detective's office is no where near as hard-boiled as it needs to be. Throw some cigarette butts around, maybe a newspaper or two, hide a bottle of liquor.

The aesthetic of noir detective offices wouldn't be inconsistent with the lore. I enjoy the changes in atmosphere that come from simple changes in lighting and clutter.

I'd rather the lighting stay the same for the HoS office.

I never said it would be inconsistent with the lore but I kind of feel the '60s hard-boiled noir vibe isn't what one would expect to find on a megacorporation's research station.

That's not to say I don't like it, I think it's kind of fun, but it wouldn't hurt to add a few lights to the HoS office; like I said,
