ChevalierMalFet
That's it, really. Whenever I play HoS, I order one all the time. It makes the room look much nicer if it's adequately lit. Link to comment

UnknownMurder
I like my office dark like Noire. However, if you put the light in the room. I will tear the light bulb off the light fixture, and bend it in half and put broken light back up to make my room dark without anyone noticing. But, hey. That's just me. Link to comment

Nanako
I'm with UM on this one, the darkness suits it and is more intimidating, In fact, we should remove some light from the detective's office Link to comment

Throw some cigarette butts around, maybe a newspaper or two, hide a bottle of liquor. Link to comment

I enjoy the changes in atmosphere that come from simple changes in lighting and clutter. I'd rather the lighting stay the same for the HoS office. Link to comment
Zundy
Literally nothing stopping the HoS from having engineering rearrange their office to whatever theme they want be it spess office or film noir. Link to comment

I never said it would be inconsistent with the lore but I kind of feel the '60s hard-boiled noir vibe isn't what one would expect to find on a megacorporation's research station. That's not to say I don't like it, I think it's kind of fun, but it wouldn't hurt to add a few lights to the HoS office; like I said, There's this cool new thing all the kids are trying called a lightswitch.
