Reason for complaint: Lilsh4 played on lifeweb for a while when I was there, and I decided to stop because many of the players there were such terrible human beings that I couldn't live with them. One such is Lilsh4, a lolicon (someone who jacks off to drawings of children) who repeatedly boasts in the discord there about molestation and child rape. I get it, it's not our discord, it's separate from us, and I'm not complaining about anything I've quoted them saying but instead the kind of person they consistently are.

I despise pedophiles to a great degree and Lilsh4 is no exception. I thought he had stopped playing here, but he didn't, so my first words to him were "get out." This sparked a confrontation, of which I will post logs of, that Nursie shut down. Having realized this person is still allowed to play here, I'm appalled to say the least.

I went to discord because she ordered us to, and Alberyk and Skull shut us down. I'll post logs of that interaction as well.

Did you attempt to adminhelp the issue at the time? If so, what was the known action taken by administration/moderation? No I got told to take it to discord and I did.

Here is what originally sparked my disgust in this human being, prompting all my hatred for him personally as he continued this sort of act on the Lifeweb discord. I think just one of these is enough to understand where I'm coming from so I don't have to go digging for every single sick thing this guy has said and explain much further.

Finally, when told to discord, I did, and nothing much happened there except for this:

 

 

He's proven himself to be the same kind of person as he was in lifeweb on aurora, stating that he recently "scored"(?) in regards to me saying he's bragging about molesting kids. This is a pretty obvious showcase of the fact that he's no different there than he is here. Sure the original quotes weren't from our discord, but they're already showing up in it now. It's not as though he acts very modest here and me attacking him us brutal and unforgiving- I see the exact shameless pervert attitude here as well. Otherwise I wouldn't be making this.

Note:No their original post was not in the aurora discord. Yes I know you don't punish for things not done on this server. But I don't think I can tolerate letting a person like this run around when he's utterly shameless about it and boasts about going to a school and molesting the kids there. No they are not joking.

LilSh4 was a CCIA with me once (for a brief period of time), and he was always a good player, or seemed to be.

However...

I also believe it is one of the Administration's responsibilities to ensure our player base is not made up of people that could compromise our public image or tarnish our reputation, and we have before many times, punished actions outside of Aurora done by Aurora players (see the Cass issue, and other situations) .

I think it is quite disgusting what [mention]LilSh4[/mention] said, and I do not think that he is the kind of person that Aurora wants to be playing with us, or being a part of our community. The idea that we would welcome and allow someone who outright admitted to wanting to 'surprise molest' children, is disgusting.

I urge [mention]Garnascus[/mention], [mention]Shadow[/mention] and [mention]Skull132[/mention] to review this complaint, and decide whether or not going outside the consensus of player complaints is OK to do in this situation.

Also if we don't take action, Reddit will probably tear us apart even more js.

Addendum: It is clear that he mentioned his recent 'score', on an Aurora Discord server, which I believe formally brings this into the Administration's jurisdiction and obligation to address.

I refuse to approach this situation seriously. The things Hive shows you from DMs are out of context, and I will not explain this context because it is private. Most of it is lighthearted and/or joking, some out of context, and the rest was intentionally posted to fuck specifically with Hive after he was a dick with the DMs I sent him. I.E. the recent 'score.' It was purely said to anger him, essentially.

The rest of my case lies in that this doesn't follow player complaint rules, either. I'm disgusted with you myself if you take what Hive says seriously.

(Also I could be wrong but I THINK general outlook on Aurora is a steamy pile of paperwork-obsessed meta-clique shits. Not my words about the place.)

TL;DR I don't think any action besides a warning for taunting hive is in order. We may find his humor distasteful, however it is impossible to say that it is anything worse than dark humor. If there was this person could be sent to jail. As there is no evidence, and hive's entire post just ends up being a ad hominem attack that only makes his future complaints about this user harder to take objectively. We don't know the full story, and should judge this person based on their behavior on Aurora. Setting a precedent of taking seriously warnings about new players based on unprovable testimony from another user opens up abuse. It's impossible for us to know the whole story because it didn't happen here. If this person truly is a toxic person who makes jokes about kiddie porn often and does it here then I will be the first to make that player complaint thread unless someone else beats me to it. The admin base should consider if they want to add moral police to their list of duties and decide if preemptive strikes are in style for them.

It's not ad hominen if it's a direct quote. You said you think about molesting a child and you recently scored after begin accused of the same. You cannot lawyer the rules by saying "Well I didn't mean it, and it's out of context." "Lol just kidding" does not invalidate the server rules.

I've seen LilSh4's behavior on discord, though I've ignored them myself. They are extremely hostile and throw out insults like "cancer" and other buzzwords very frequently. Any sort of criticism or negative comment at them is met by examples that they've got in this thread - "I am disgusted with you" "you are cancer" "this is invalid" "steamy pile of paperwork obsessed meta clique shits".

I never took screenshots but I can search the discord to find some if it is necessary. I think what Hive posted is enough. Allowing such a player in our community is immensely harmful to our image and the health of our community.

The server rules does not carry over to private DMs taken out of context, and if it does then this is the last server I'd want to be with. From my perspective the 'score' thing was a joke. It was intentional to piss off Hive as I previously stated. I'm so fucking sorry if you can't take a joke.

Don't act like no one else who plays the game here never gets overly hostile about things, I know some do. I know they stay. The difference is that it's not their only discord interaction. It's a ugly thing to look at, the things I've said on the discord, though I would suggest it only ever happened 1-3 times. I never counted.

I'll make this my last post and in consideration; note that one is fairly psychotic about this kind of thing, and the other doesn't give a shit about the result because this is just silly.

Not only is this very obviously a joke with the way he worded it but also it never mentions it to be a school. But musing the idea is is for a moment if is a school then that mean that Lilsh4 himself attends the school thus not being a pedophile. However, it doesn't matter considering that even out of context that statement was very obviously a joke mainly through the "ngh" and "ruin my life not worth it" parts of the statement So from what I can tell by this DM all Lilsh4 is a horny teenager that makes inappropriate jokes sometimes. If it is a bad thing to occasionally or even often make jokes such as the ones he did then it is an infringment on free speech.

Do not use ad hominem. This means do not attack a person's character (character in this case meaning the mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual). You are expected to argue the presented ideas, not the person. If someone were to attack you, don’t take matters into your own hands, report it to us.

I prefer not to care about morals. I never attacked Hive outside of calling him cancer and whatnot after being provoked. Not a good idea in a community where he's been loremaster(?) and a moderator for a while!(Woops!)

I am totally cool with existing on the same ss13 server as Hive, because neither of us need to talk. I certainly wasn't going to talk to him, anyways.

As far as I know, saying "to be honest" before saying something means you're being honest, and not making a light joke. Not that the joke was even light. And if he was joking, "just kidding" does not invalidate any punishment for the things you say.

Then when it backfires you have your friends appear and say you're just playing and child molestation is really just a super funny hilarious comedy skit. (It's not.)

Sorry, going off topic from this server again. If I had to say, Lucas Bickerson is my biggest blunder on this server and I believe there were people to applaud his existence at one point. At least one point. (R-R-R-right guys?)

The rest of my characters are un-notable, except for Charlie Stough. You may comment on how I run around the map looking for some sweet erotic fun with those or any of my unnotables if you happen to know them.

His age shouldn't matter. Free speech doesn't matter. This is a community run by admins that get to decide whether or not you have the privilege to play on their server or not.

I feel like admins shouldn't base this on hearsay and just base it on what is concrete and apparent. The one discord message he sent that had an implication. If he gunks up the server later on it's not like giving him a chance to prove himself closes the door on future complaints.

That's all i am going to say cause I'll just repeat myself. But try and focus the conversation here. Lil if you feel like you have a legit complaint about the fact that you were hounded OOC and on Discord... which I think is a fair statement to make, as hive's reaction wasn't really appropriate you should make your own post.

Staff does and will extend discipline to what happens in direct messages (verbal harassment, unsolicited nudity, etc) because it reflects on the individual player. Regardless of whether this is done on the server or not, this is your behavior, and what I have seen is unacceptable by any means.

The only reason you are not facing a permanent ban is because it happened on another discord. We have set a precedent of this already which you should be aware of. The fact they are jokes, even out of context, does not excuse you, nor does your age or the fact that this is "hearsay" only taken out of context. I would almost go as far as to say joking about it (molesting someone and making light of, very specifically, ruining their life) makes it somewhat worse. I want to make it crystal clear that these jokes are not acceptable, nor will they ever be acceptable to make on our server, forums, or discord.

Before this complaint is closed, I want to make it utterly clear that if these jokes are made on our server, forums, or discord, that you will most likely be facing a ban. Do you understand?
