Why do you wish to play this specific race: Well, I would like to play IPC because I feel it would be the next step in my journey to develop my android's personality.
I believe that it be a challenging and rewarding experience making the transition from a robust android, to a more delicate and fragile IPC.
Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: It would be different primarily due to it being a synthetic. It has advantages humans doesn’t have such as immunity to diseases, toxins and pain (Most anyway), and it has disadvantages such as they tend to overheat and their vulnerability to EMP. Another big thing would be that IPCs are pretty low on the acceptance ladder, which surely will result in conflicts from time to time.
Character Name: Mix
Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs
Well, Mix would be the ascended version of M1-X, the bound android. After numerous years of service aboard the Exodus, it has gone from being a mostly autonomous synthetic to a more inquisitive, interacting android.
Its personality has developed over time as it has learned to better interact and even care for the station’s crew. Its preference for serving as a medical synthetic shows that it would seem to enjoy working alongside medical personnel, and being directly able to help the crew.
What do you like about this character?
I like that Mix is curious about its emotions, wanting to become something greater, able to process more complex emotions, humor, sarcasm and generally everything thats present during daily life.
What I also like is that it generally cares a shitload, and will try its best to prioritize crew health and wellbeing above all.
Basically a caring tryhard <3
How would you rate your role-playing ability? Shit, I dunno? 5/10?
