I will now be locking this thread until Garnascus gets to this complaint over the next couple of days. The discussion is starting to get relatively out of hand and will just lead to more work having to be done on Garnascus' part which will lead to a slower resolution.

I personally could've cared less about the difference between break/dislocation, honestly. They both carry the same goal of stopping you from using the leg. The only difference was the semantic of what happened to the bone. They are, in essence the exact same thing, and I personally did not care whether we used break or dislocate in the conversation because I would've understood what it was doing in the end and that's what mattered at the time of the discussion. We were both being jerks to each other in the heat of the moment. Now this is a time when we're both not in that situation anymore. We are now calm and collected. There is no need to be a jerk anymore. If we can't have a civil discussion while we're calm and collected, then I will not have a discussion at all. I hope you can agree with that because devolving to being jerks to each other again won't really solve anything between us; even though you literally just said "Yeah, I'll keep making fun of you". Lets be men instead of boys and treat each other as such. I have already presented that, yes, I was in the wrong in this situation, and I have apologized for this. People don't just pick up a E-gun ans shoot the guy because of "Lag" First even to pick the gun you have to hover over it and then click it, what you are really trying to say is that you spam clicked the E-gun and JUST moved your mouse over my character and clicked again? Sounds like bull to me... If you have alt+clicked on the tile, then the e-gun disappears from the list, and moves up the next item of priority. In this case, it sounds like you were the next item of priority. Since she had already been clicking on the item, you must've popped up, and she clicked you by accident; hence the shot. It's not that implausible.

Alright, not sure what made you have the want and need to post an additional remark in such a rude and passive aggressive tone, outside of trying to spark something, but I'm not even going to give most of your additional remark the time of day for it because it really doesn't have any place in a calm, organized discussion. If and when you do change it to look like it belongs in such a chat, then I will be willing to discuss something from it if you wish to discuss it. Outside of that, I don't really have anything else to add to this, now that I think of it, outside of what I already said. I'm already aware that what I did was wrong, I've already reflected on this issue and now know how to avoid this happening in the future, and I am sorry for how things played out. So is this or is this not a complaint? If you're complaining about a player, then you do so expecting staff to take some form of action on them. I really like the sprite Damarik made for this. I just have one question, though. Wouldn't the organic one have to be directly wired in order to be able to manually manipulate functions like doors and the like (which I assume is all of that black wire looking things at the head of the sprite)? The main reason carded AIs can do it is if you activate the little wifi thing on the card iirc. Is there a specific reason (both OOC and IC) as to why the organic should still be able to manipulate these functions while outside of the cryo tube?

If that's an addition to your suggestion, then I believe there's already a short version of the floor length braid on the hairstyle list?

I personally feel like miasma could add to roleplay. It adds more and becomes another element when it comes to dread or an overwhelming feeling of danger when things deteriorate in a massive conflict. Confusion, desperation, and information overload is how you make someone feel overwhelmed in a dangerous situation. Not just that, the way this is suggested, it feels like this is not something that will happen very often; outside of finding dead bodies in hiding spots. The fact that it doesn't become a constant thing is what would make it feel like a fresh mechanic when these huge conflicts happen. That way it's not "Not this again" and more "Huh, it's this again", but that will still fall as to how it's implemented. I think that, if implemented, then a good thing to do would be to simply add a variety of ways to make it less annoying. Wearing latex gloves, medical face masks, medical jumpsuits, covering wear (see: trench coats, lab coats) could provide partial protection to skin exposure for infections, gasmasks (which are fairly common) provide complete immunity when paired with an oxygen canister. Just spitballing, but simply adding multiple ways to avoid it as opposed to a single, true way. I cannot argue on the dev team's willingness to do atmos code though. That is totally up to them, and it's just something they'll weigh in themselves if and when considering this suggestion.

Sorry, but I'm just going to say that if your plan is to set up a case, then you should get your evidence beforehand or otherwise we're just wasting time here until then because we need to wait for you to get your evidence before anything can be accomplished. I'm pretty sure blobs are a known thing in the lore from something Jackboot said ages ago. It's very likely engineers, at the least, would know what a blob is because it's part of their job description. Blobs are not unknown species.

No problem, just trying to help, and sometimes people just need realization. If you need help creating a new, more believable character, then you can message Garnascus, Dea or myself. We're 3 admins that are more than willing to help people make characters.

And I can understand that, but you need to know when doing X will lead to utter failure. You are using a character that people know and many have a problem with. Why not make a new character that nobody knows, is unrelated to the Syion's, and then developing that? I assure you that will get MUCH better results than what you are getting in this attempt. Basically, know when you have lost, learn from why you lost, and reinforce your weak spot. Otherwise, you are going to encounter the exact same failure every single time. Running your face into the wall every time with the same method, hoping for something to change, will not work here.

That's already a thing. You have a chance of getting your hair stuck in fabricators and lathes based on your hairstyle. I remember seeing Sarah Snyder get her head torn off from the RNG damage because she had very long hair or floor braid, don't remember.
