Yes, that's powergaming. Exposing yourself to space is dangerous and harmful almost immediately. The code, on the other hand, does not reflect that. When you have the option to go back to a pressurized area, then why would you ever expose yourself to space when you can gtfo, and then apply medication? Please think situations like that through in the future. Bleh, validhunting was a poor choice of word, now that I think of it, but it still works. Basically, actively looking for a reason to fight antagonists. Compare a non-combatant being cornered and having no other option BUT to fight, to a non-combatant leaving and then coming back with guns explicitly to fight the person. And the gun you used to retaliate was what and from where, exactly? There's a huge difference between "make sure the AI is running smoothly" and "breaking into the AI core with Ripleys and/or Thermite, smash turrets along the way, and possibly break the AI; doing all of this, for the most part, single handedly, and at the drop of a hat".

That's why there's lots of us to PM. If one person becomes aware, then the others do too. I check the forums almost everyday, but my tasks have been stalled by not having time set up to be more active in actually posting on threads where I'm required. On the other hand, though, thanks to how mobile technology is now-a-days, I can just message Gollee, Jen or Doom over Skype with my phone, and that way we have things set. Day in and day out, I always see at least one of them on and active on Skype, and admins very rarely go on hiatus without saying anything to other admins, so I believe things should be fine. Right, I should set people like Nursie, Contextual, etc. to have their default group be Duty Officer; similar to Gollee. That should, hopefully, resolve the issue of confusion. I would still prefer to not see OOC information posted on the incident reports though, regardless of what it is, please.

I've provided a rather lengthy explanation why I disagree with the enforcement of the rule in this specific case. I actually managed to have a rather civil discussion about it with Japak. And now I'm faced with this one-liner. What are you hoping to achieve by posting this? I'm not trying to be confrontational, I genuinely don't understand your aim. What Baka is trying to say is that the rule was enforced because it's the rules. There's no OOC to be posted in incident reports and that's that. If you want to notify us about things like that (that being admin action already being taken against the player), then simply PM Gollee, Jenna, and myself. Otherwise, it will be deleted if it goes on an incident report. I'll make sure to explicitly add that into the rules for future, similar situations.

I'm going to be managing this complaint. You have five warnings of powergaming/rambo'ing in the Science department. Most of these have been explicitly taking weapons out of research in order to hunt and/or fight antags. I can mildly understand the AI situation to a certain degree,but not the nuclear one at all. It's come to my understanding that it is not rare for you to repeatedly powergame (taking your hardsuit off in order to apply medicine because "lolmechanics" in this instance), valid hunting as a scientist by literally going out of your way to fight antags (fleeing from the operative and then coming straight back to start shooting them down with R&D weapons, in this instance), and all around rambo'ing what you please because you *know* the game (see: every single instance of you having to confront an AI; not even joking, almost every single one that I've heard about). Surprisingly enough, I have *no* idea as to why you have not been banned from Science yet, but something is going to have to give. At this point, I'm looking for a reason to not job ban you from Science since all of this *always* happens when you're in the Science department, but I can't find a single reason. Can you provide to me those reasons? Edit: This is just for future reference since, for some reason, the sub rules don't appear for me? Might just be an issue on my end, but just in case for people looking to post here.

I apologize if I come off as rude, but this is by far one of the worst characters I've seen be used for head of staff whitelist apps; this character is a joke and speaks volumes about your application. I don't care that you wrote this late at night, but common sense should've spoken to you before hitting submit.

Hrm, sure. Pink Screwdriver will work. I'm willing to accept this app since it's a pretty simple item to make and you showed that it adds some depth to the character.

I mean, it really just looks like a Droideka's big brother or if Square Enix designed them instead. Heck, maybe even add another pair of legs so that he has 6 instead of 4. More minor changes like this will give a lesser feel of Droideka and help you make something much more different.

Are you sure this sounds like a good idea for your own enjoyment? I feel like in situations, you will not follow through with what you claim the custom item does because it'll lead to frustration and literally being unable to play.

I think I can approve of this. It shows experience for the character in the field since he has a little token to prove how long he's been working other than word. Consider your application approved. It will be placed in the Accepted Items sub until completed, in which case it'll be moved to Completed Items.

Could we get more information on this organization? A simple, plain purple labcoat + beret tells nobody anything, is plain, boring, and would not be accepted. I need more description to work with rather than a simple band on a plain, purple beret saying "Junior Member" with no other context.

What would this tell about your character other than "Oh it's for temperature"? How would this be used in a meaningful way through RP?

So, anything special to this other than it keeps my hands warm and reminds me of family? How'll you use this to further RP?
