I was going to wait until I got back home from work (which was about half an hour ago) before doing anything about this; possibly waiting until tomorrow if still nothing from you. Anywho: The crux of the issue is that using disposals for travel is a horribly stupid idea and powergaming. No sane person is going to go "I'm going to jump down this high powered pneumatic system meant for garbage so that I can surprise people." In fact, in our code you're supposed to take the same amount of damage as you would without a locker than if you were in one in disposals; so stating "I had a locker to protect me" would still not change the fact because it's still a horribly suicidal idea. This creates a third incident of inexcusable powergaming in a head of staff position in your history. Punishment will move on as planned. Locking and archiving for real now, 24 hours from now on the dot.

Actually, you can make a pretty good case for cyborgification being capital punishment as lore stands. MMI'd brain means *everything* that made you Human is now gone. Your memories, your personality, etc. You are no longer you, but instead a machine now owned by a mega corporation; You as a whole are, essentially, dead.

Aqy and myself have come to a conclusion: Direwolf20 will be stripped of their head of staff whitelist in light of their history and this current event. If Direwolf20 has anything they would like to argue about this, then PM Aqy and TishinaStalker on the forums. The strip will take effect 24 hours from now; at which point this thread will also be locked and archived.

Now that everybody's had a chance to calm down, I'll be contacting involved players over the next few days to have a chat with them, get information, and then I will cross reference server logs with the information I have gathered. If Callum and Dire feel that Vision really is "lying" or "misinterpreting facts", then neither of the two should have something to fear. That being said, if others that may have been involved in the fiasco between the characters on-server have anything to say, then feel free to chime in or message me personally on the forums or BYOND, but keep it relevant. I only want to hear what happened IC'ly because the crux of this issue is IC behavior of whitelisted players. Anything irrelevant to it will be deleted if on the forums or will be dismissed if on a forum PM or BYOND message.

I'll be handling this complaint as it's a head of staff issue. Originally, Aqy and I accepted Draculabot reapplication because they seemed to have learned their lesson on head of staff play. I won't be commenting on that issue any further until they respond to the thread. Also, the title for your thread will be modified.

Thaaaat's a horribly flawed question. Simply because you can do it doesn't mean you shouldn't stop and think "Should I really be doing it?" It's like Captain. Has access to the armory whenever he gosh darn pleases because it's a function of his. Should he be entering it to get guns on code green? We expect players to have common sense so that we don't have to needlessly waste time coding in things to stop them. Do we really need to spend additional time in making drones unable to interface with all computers? It's easier and better to trust our players to think "Wait, that seems stupid for me to do, and could be against my laws." Also, uhhhh, just to clarify the bit where you included me: You asked me how long your job ban was. I looked at your notes, accidentally read your server ban, and I thought it was a timed job ban. Then I corrected myself by telling you that your SERVER ban was one week and that the job ban was permanent.

Just so you know... A suit in no way, shape or form tells people "I'm a detective". Everyone owns suits. I wear suits on Fridays because Formal Friday and nobody thinks I'm a detective. Applying for a suit is like applying for a blank t-shirt; it doesn't convey anything. The only thing a suit tells people is that you're a serious person or are a businessman. I'm just going to quote something I told Doom over Skype when he asked me about applying for a suit: "Joekane ahelped a similar issue once about detective and getting a better suit; which Skull took. We came to a consensus that suit's are generally an extremely poor medium to get more information about a character. Nobody is going to ask you "Where's that suit from?" "What's special about it?" etc because suits have nothing that make them stand out. The only thing they show is that you are a professional or serious person. What you CAN do though, Swat's always complaining that he has nothing to sprite. You can ask him to sprite more suits, and then that can be talked out with Skull or Scopes about adding it to the laundry room/head of staff attire lockers."

Right, I'm locking this thread now, and will be scrubbing any pointless comments/content from posts on this thread. You will receive an approve or denial later tonight when Aqy and I sit down to review all open head of staff whitelists. Edit: Also, for the love of god, everybody just get along. Hug someone, listen to some music or smoke weed if that's what you like to do to chill out. Just don't post when mad or whatever because telling administration "Sorry, I had a bad day" or "Well, he started it" won't fly as an excuse and will make things worse.

Here's some genuine advice though so this doesn't happen wherever you decide to go: Play by the rules. Administration will never take kindly to people who refuse to play by the rules; regardless of server. Even Goon is pretty strict about their rules, and that deserves some crazy mad respect for their administration/moderation team. Also, don't let this discourage you from appealing the ban in a future case. You are free to do so again when you desire and feel you have learned from your mistakes. Have a nice day.

Excellent, I have all of the records right here then. The issue with security was left as an IC issue. Then, you started attacking yourself with a pen; which generate attack logs for staff. It was most definitely not your first time on the server. Do not misinform me or anyone else because, in fact, your first note was on September 1st, 2014. If it's an IC issue, then there's nothing I can do from an OOC standpoint. If it's an IC issue, then it's not something I can intervene by going around smacking other players. Now, do you remember the exact or approximate date of which you were banned?

Alright, do you remember what month you were banned on? Preferably around what day? I don't believe that I could've been that huge of a jerk because I don't seriously go "wtf that guy is pen spamming himself? ban". It seems pointlessly ruthless of me the way you describe it, and I actually do my best to help players understand what they did wrong, when they crossed the line in something, and how they can do better in the future to avoid a similar situation. If they're well receptive of it, then that's okay, I let them off easy. If they're going to argue why what they did was wrong, then I have to give them a warning and point them at staff complaints if that's wrong. If they seem completely and totally unwilling to understand rules, then a ban is called for with length depending on the player's history. Your history called for a permanent ban in order to force a line of communication like we have right now. EDIT: Keep in mind, there's no way the ban happened on 4/10/2015. That day was when I remembered I had banned you because of the fact that you sent me that message, so I looked up your ckey.
