I see that we've deviated from what Frances said, so allow me to post my opinion on the matter. The whole point of antags even being on the server is to cause roleplay, and fun. It isn't fun to sit in a dark corner, completely still, and quiet, while 5 players rampage around the station, killing anything on sight. I haven't been on during any of Swats antagonist rounds, but from merely /skimming/ this thread, I can verily tell that something is very wrong with the way they play antagonists. Going along with what Frances said, If you're going to go on a mass killing spree across the station, Give it some pizzazz. Some flare. Make it interesting, and /fun/ to play along with. Don't just hide in the Robotics bay, emag all of the borgs, and then kill everything. I've seen this from other Roboticists, and I don't think it's a very fun roleplay scenario for everyone involved on the server.

Do strangers on the internet count? -
Glory to Arstozka! I hate this game, but I love it at the same time. Has anyone else even played this game before?

I dislike quick time events. Which is what the Walking Dead was. I haven't played Wolf Among Us(Probably will sometime this month), or the Sam and Max games.

They still enforce the law, Xander. They enforce Corporate Regulations AS WELL AS Sol Government Law. They may not be able to hold them permanently on station, but NT /does/ have prison stations. I point you to the NSS Centaurus, A prison station based in the Tau Ceti system. So, yes. NanoTrasen has permanent prison settings. You state things as if NT has no power on the outside world, which is a colossal lie. The Tau Ceti system is a free-trade zone, which means that the Corporation that resides there has tremendous power. Many of the Security Officers on station actually /double/ as Private detectives, Cops, or other law enforcement agents while they are off station. Security Guard seems more that they are guarding something. Which, to a point, they are. However, the main job of the Security force is to prevent the breaking of corporate regs, and make sure that no one kills one another on station. They may guard the station in terms of crises, yes. That is not their whole job description. It seems as if Severis has a good point, with the Sky Marshal shenanigan.

I still survived Kek. I am the best psi agent. But, I've done the same as Jenna, and with Jenna on multiple occasions. It's a bit different for this game, as I haven't spent most of my time on it as I would once have. Also, Jenna. Brotherhood 4 lyfe.

Fun Facts About....well, Ourselves!

It's a known fact at my hometown hospital that my internal organs are most likely plotting to kill me. Three have failed so far, and two of the three have been removed. -
Cups and Haruspex? Yes, definitely getting my +1. This guy knows his stuff, for sure.

No wonder why Frances doesn't enjoy playing this game anymore. oh. i cri.

The two that I run are Raptor and Marauder. Both are essentially the same. Raptor is a combat specialist, but Marauder is a 7 ft tall Unathi.

The Red Winter would follow the Foehammer through it's FTL Course, and land where it landed. The ship's crew would be rushing about, preparing the ship for all sorts of various scenarios. The Drone fighters were being re-armed and the point-defense systems were being recalibrated just to make sure they were ready. Captian Marcus Antony sat in his chair, completely silent, absently chewing on the end of an Old Earth pipe.

If I cared about the TableTop game, I'd know. But I don't. So I don't.

Hive, You've made me laugh so many times. And I plan on sticking around for a loooong time.

Marcus studied the woman on the screen, as she spoke. He ran a hand over his chin, and studied her. The crew was silent behind him. The truth of the matter was, that the crew had not had any valuable work over the last couple of months. Food was running out, and the ship would fall apart soon enough. The payment of this job was too large to just ignore, but, most of the crew were wanted criminals. Marcus hit a key on the console, and loudspeakers on the ship crackled to life. "Greetings, crew. This is your Captain speaking. As some of you may know by now, we are in desperate need of a well paying job. One has been presented to us. The sum of a billion earth hegaemony credits has been presented to us. However, we will be directly working with governmental forces. I know the relationship that some of you have with our government, but I share the same relationship. That being said, We are going to take the job. I have heard reports that the government is under attack from some unknown force. This could be our chance to earn our freedom. To remove the black marks on our lives. No longer would we be hunted down from system to system, fighting at every corner. We would be free once more. I, as your Captain, have chosen this course of action. If any of you disagree, Shuttle Bay 2 is open to you. You may take The Snowflake and leave whenever you wish. Captain Antony out." Marcus leaned back in his chair, as the bridge crew looked on at their Captain. "Maldin, How many have gone to Shuttle Bay 2?" Marcus asked, looking over to a small woman leaning over a console with many different vids playing at once. "None, sir. In fact, everyone is at their stations." She replied. The Captain smiled smally. He hit a button on his console, and a vid screen popped up, and he began to record a message. "This is Captain Marcus Antony, Foehammer, The Red Winter and all of her crew are yours to command. We're ready to leave when you are. Red Winter, out." He hit the same key, and the vid vanished. Alexei at his console rapidly tapped a number of keys, sending the vid to the Foehammer, and the crew all began to make preparations for battle.

The next time that Robert is on the same shift as Daniel. We will do battle.

I sent mine in, but I forgot some things. Sending another thing.

There's one thing that me, as a HoS have learned to do. Don't be an insufferable asshat. What I mean by that is, don't antagonize EVERYONE who doesn't agree with you. I am a jerk as HoS, but a constructive jerk. I try to break you down, and then build you back up as a soldier. There are some heads that I've noticed that literally antagonize every single person that disagrees with them in the slightest, and it just causes conflict and metahate.

I see no reason as to why this shouldn't be implemented. There are a host of reasons that support the fact that it will only add roleplay. I'm all for it, gung ho, if you will.

Fun Facts About....well, Ourselves!

Mine were abscessed and ruptured almost a day to a week before surgery. -
There was a brief disruption in the fabric of space, as a ship jumped quite near to the Acetes and the Foe Hammer. The ship was quiet massive when compared to the two smaller ships. It had a gray hull, with black solar panels directing themselves to the nearest available solar light source. It had two, giant, twin-guns mounted on the front end of the ship. They resembled pincers. If one were to look close enough, One could see a large, sliding door open, and tiny objects fly out of the hole. Automated Drone Fighters. They circled the ship, forming a defensive perimeter around the ship. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ A man sat in what resembled a leather chair, staring at a viewport overlooking the system. People bustled around him, hurrying from station to station, going about their jobs. "Alexei, Send a message on all known frequences. Advertise our wares.."The man in the leather chair spoke, seemingly the Captain of the vessel. "Yes, sir!"The man at the communications chair replied. "The vid is yours, Captain." The man stood from his chair, and strolled leisurely over to an open spot near the communications station. He was a tall man, at around 6'1", and he seemed to be in good shape. A graying beard clung to his face, and light blue eyes sparkled from under the brim of his hat. "Greetings,Inhabitants of this fine system. We are the mercenary ship, Red Winter, and I, am Captain Marcus Antony, and we are looking for any sort of work that may come our way. We do not leave jobs unfinished, and we always earn our pay. If you wish to hire us, or are just looking for more information about our humble business, please do contact us. But be warned, any hostile actions against our ship will be dealt with quickly, and efficiently." Marcus said, smiling. He made a motion with his hand for Alexei to cut it, and the feed went dead. "Send it off, Alexei. Siefer, prepare the point-defense system, and warm up the main guns. We don't want any surprises to catch us off guard. Everyone, prepare for defense patter Theta. Let's not look antagonizing, eh? The Captain said, being responded with a cacophony of Yes, Sirs!. He sat down in his chair, and picked up a teacup that was sitting on a little table by his chair, and took a quiet sip. He settled in, waiting.

This. I really, really enjoy playing this game, and being apart of this community. I really enjoy being a moderator, and helping everyone solve their issues. But, I don't enjoy actually roleplaying my characters. I end up, as you said, looking to see if they're doing something wrong, or knowing what their character will do. There's no mystery in it for me anymore. I want to play fun, and exciting characters, but I know how everyone will react to them now. I love this community, for the short time I've been apart of it, and I feel like I've been made apart of the big family that I saw when I first joined. I love being on the forums, getting on the server and teamspeak and just talking to all of you. Every single one of you is an amazing person, who has made me laugh my butt off more than once. I don't know where I'm going with this, but this post just struck something within me.

Call it the NSS Aurora, that's original, right?

Robert Dalton, if you could. Name the ship The FSS Valiant, or something.
