    The Game

We are a positronic artificial intelligence with a god complex.
  2. Let me chime in and state that I witnessed this event. This is RP-breaking, and frankly, I disagree with how it was handled.
  3. Maintenance Drones would be the best option. You take control of them, and spawn at the depot, and walk about the station. If for any reason you are disconnected, the entity AI takes over and walks back to the depot.
  4. There were people permabrigged. But there were multiple there, and they were all given chances to prison break out. That was our main goal that round, let them stage a prison break.
  5. As one who has played a very terrible Head of Security during one of these rounds, let me state one quick point. Security goes out of their way to be as extremely assholeish as possible during these rounds. We're trying extremely hard to give the Revs something to revolt over, and we take it overboard, and forget what we were doing in the first place. I had a really amazing round whilst doing this very thing. Let's start off: First, I begin the round as the only Head. I'm the HoS, and I immediately tell my Security Officers not to take any shit. Not only that, I start restricting even more areas than the hardcoded directives. I restricted the bar to anyone save my Sec. Officers and heads of Staff. I think I even closed the Hydroponics bay and Cargo. This goes on for a while, and I end up arresting a Tajaran for acing 'Suspicious', which in reality, He was just doing his job. This causes a really long butterfly effect, and there are constant arrestings, beatings, and escapes happening all at once. I somehow end up in the Medbay, and fall unconcious. I wake up, on the operating Table, with a 7 foot tall Unathi standing in front of me. It's the Revolutionary Head. I'm cable cuffed, and thrown into the wall, and he rakes his claws down my face. Due to some Doctor coming in to check the situation out, I dart out of the door, and run down the hallway, into the Virology entrance airlock. I hide in the locker, and remove my cable cuffs. Once I've removed them, I rush back into the hallway to see my fully armored sec officers bust down the doors to Medbay. They toss me an energy carbine and a stun baton, and we rush the operation bay. We rush in to met four revolutionairys. It what is to date, the funniest gunfight I've ever been apart of, We end up killing the Revs, with only one death. The round pretty much was calm from then on out. The point of this story is to remind all of you that sometimes hitler-sec doing non-fun things can end up being fun, If the Security Officers are focused on the roleplay during these rounds.
  6. (( You're not too late, just nilch the armor for now, and you're good. ))
  7. I want this. This is a thing I need in my life. RP Rev has devolved into 'KILL DUH HAADZ' and sometimes, I feel as if it would be fun to be a Mutineering Research Director, subjecting the revolting Sec officers into my domain, and giving them all sorts of cool things to force the Captain to stand down.
  8. If that doesn't work, try turning it on and off again.
  9. Try hitting it with a wrench. That should fix it.
  10. Robert is the best Captain ever. Let's hope he doesn't die gruesomely soon!
  11. I would have never expected this out of you, Delta. Good on you.
  12. You heard it. State your favorite fantasy universe and explain why your favorite is the best out all of the others. Mine is Forgotten Realms. It's just so expansive, and filled with so much fluff, and so many forms of media to immerse yourself in. There is no other universe that has reached this level of detail, unless you delve into the Warhammer series, and even then, It doesn't even come near as close. Just the Legend of Drizz't alone has well over 15 novels.
  13. This makes me want to make a xenophobic character, and get a giant can of bug spray.
  14. Eternity: A movie based on a novel of the same name. The film follows the protagonist Jason Alexander, a man working at a dead-end job on Mars. He ends up dying in a terrorist attack on the KanaMason Headquarters, and is cloned afterward. However, He begins to notice something different. He is travelling in Tau Ceti, when he notices someone astoundingly like him. He approaches them, only to barely get to them before they suicide bomb another KanaMasen building. He goes on a journey that takes him from the ruins of Earth, to the edges of Tau Ceti. He discovers an underground conspiracy, that causes him to question the Sol Alliance, his own existence, and the meaning of life. Nominated for multiple Osskars.
  15. Name: Vasili Zharkov Age: 35 Physical Description: Vasili stands at a towering 6'5", and is very hardened and muscular. He has long, thick, dark brown hair, and a thick brown beard. He looks the part of a behemoth, and carries with him a grand battle-axe. He uses this axe to behead traitors, and enemies. His body is covered in hair, the man resembling a bear in how hairy he was. He wears heavy brown furs, and a chainmail undercovering. He always carries around his battle-axe, and is always looking around, wary of his surroundings. He wears fur covered boots, and thick pants as well. Home Fiefdom: Russia Profession: Lordling. Backstory: Born into a wealthy family, Vasili was easily thrust into the top echelon of the Russian fiefdom. As per the normal culture, Vasili was trained in the art of warfare at an early age. He excelled with the battle-axe and sword, above the normal skill range of his people. Due to his sheltered upbringing, Vasili does not know the painful twang of hunger, or the desperation that his people might lay forth onto him. He carries with him the bloodthirsty attitude of his people, and is always issuing some sort of war-call to his father, or King. Vasili is battle-hardened, and always ready for a fight. This is due to the constant Barbarian raids from the north. He was born with the mark of the Bears Heart, which explains his massive size. He has come to Vasiliberg, to search for a fight, something to conquer, and something to gain glory amongst his people.
  16. I wasn't stating that I didn't agree with the mute. I was stating that I didn't agree with how fast the mute was issued, and how Dea replied to it. It's something to watch out for. A lot of users have a history of sass, or so it appears to be in my eyes at least. Yet, they are allowed to continue speaking. I don't have any prime examples that are sticking out in my head, but from now on, I will keep a record of things that I notice.
  17. CKey: Valkrae Character Name(s)/Position: Robert Dalton, Head of Security. Yuri Pavlov, Captain. Extra Notes: I prefer HoS, but I can roll Capitan.
  18. OOH OOH. MY TURN MY TURN. DM - My friend, Misho. Elven Sorcerer - Kailar Valkrae (Me.) Human Rogue - Vhandis Len (Skype friend.) Human Bard - Melinda Byrne (Skype friend.) Human Warrior - Mleza Priebe (Skype friend.) We're in a tavern that's owned by my NPC wife, and we hear some strange noises from the basement. A troll busts through the door, screaming and yelling. I immediately try and magic missile the thing to oblivion. It deflects the missile with a nat20. Our bard immediately attempts the most logical option. Beating it to death with as many musical instruments as physically possible. Meanwhile, The Rogue decides to fuck off to the upstairs. The Warrior attempts to elbow drop the Troll. The Troll punches him in midair. This goes on for a bit, with me trying my hardest to keep everyone somewhat healed. The Troll eventually drops to about two health. Guess who comes in for the KS? THE ROGUE. He jumps from the stairs, and stabs the thing, killing it, and taking the EXP. We then stare at him, in awe. The bard walks over to him, and smacks him in the head with a drum. Nat20. We then rob him blind, and strap him to the trolls corpse, and leave.
  19. I'll have to play devils advocate here. I don't agree with what happened, on any account. Yes, Shake shouldn't have insulted Dea, and pretty much cemented Dea's right to mute him. However. I believe that the mute should not have been issued immediately. I believe that a warning should have been issued, in a Moderator PM. And even with that, a full round mute? That seems a tad excessive. Perhaps a twenty to thirty minute. /Maybe/ an hour, if they do it a lot. But a whole round mute? That's nearly three to four hours of being muted. Shake was in the wrong, yes. But I believe that any Moderator that faces an insult, could possibly be emotionally compromised and should pass the situation onto another Staff member if one is available. Staff should be impartial, and should have the reaction to pass situations onto another member if they are emotionally compromised by a situation. Shake deserved what punishment he was given, but let's not be so quick to throw away what else could have gone wrong here.
  20. There would be a small chest that would emanate some sort of energy. Some would think it is psychic energy, others would believe it was magic. The chest would be unlocked.
  21. There are multiple weapons from many different eras of technology. Gunpowder weapons, pneumatic weapons, Melta Guns, Kinetic wepaons, a DC-15, and various other weaponry. It would seem that whatever the user desired in the form of weapons would be in this room.
  22. Hey Xander. I remember the incident pretty clearly, you weren't attacked, I was actually unarmed. I was in the room with turrets(Can't think of the exact name.) trying to break through after I had of course turned them off; though you turned them on and I was shot with quite a few lethal hits before you turned it to stun. When I got out, you didn't have anything more to say than I shouldn't be up there and left because there were threats to the station. A minute or so later of laying on the ground in paincrit I admitted to being syndicate over comms which wasn't even my choice, another syndicate had kinda blown that cover, to which you promptly returned and shot me to death while I lay on the ground unable to move; without saying another word. I believe I even tried to ICly speak to you but you just continued firing until I was far into critical condition. It's not like I dislike you or hold a grudge, just kinda was a bit of an annoyance, ruined my round since there was still quite a bit of rp to be had. Not to say I don't want this to be approved, just clearing up the situation. Either way, people have bad days and such. I think you're a good rper from most of my interactions, if a bit abrasive sometimes, and mistakes happen. I'd support this unban, for what it's worth as just a normal player, it's been awhile and people just slip up here and there. I'd like to hear some more about this account and incident. Can someone go into more detail about the round as whole?
  23. Arebur would find himself in the same field as the others woke up in. The shadowy beast nowhere in sight. There seems to be a buzz coming from the building in the center of the town.
  24. The round where I played a wizard. I led Security on a wild goose chase, asking them questions whenever they cornered me. I would then teleport away, and repeat the process. Eventually, I was arrested, which I was okay with. Through the sheer force of RPing and persuasion, I was released from custody, saying that I had to contact the Wizard's Federation to prevent them from eradicating the station. The one who caused me to be arrested, Phoebe Essel, was now my target. She was labeled an enemy of the Wizard's Federation. I attempted to kill her, I ended up failing and teleporting away. The Head of Security cornered me, and I transmorgified her into a xenomorph. She then RPed out being a Xenomorph. I ended up leaving on the shuttle, completely intact.

    The List

I GOT SOME CHARACTERS TO ADD NERDS: Kihir S'raha - A Tajaran drug dealing roboticist who isn't afraid to rough someone up to get what he wants. S'rasuna Fianarr - A Tajaran Head of Security who generally doesn't take any sort of shit/lip/backtalk or subordination from anyone. If you try and order her around, odds are she will do the opposite to spite you.
