  1. Playing with sonic as his character nasser shows to me that with any part of the lore he reads to advance rp he will use to the fullest. i think he would do well with an IPC whitelist. +1
  2. BYOND Key: Mcspizzy Game ID: Anytime either of the two are on. Player Byond Key: Prospekt1559 and Jackboot Staff involved: none. Reason for complaint: my concerns with the two are analogous minus a few parts on prospekts character. they both, seem to have no interest in taking anything serious. an example would be of a recent round, where a wizard was raiding the surface tool storage for tools. i asked for back up and had both the ai and a security robot aid me, as well as jackboots jawdat as a detective. rather that trying to get the wizard to the brig to be questioned, jackboot starts to try and make friends with the wizard, disregarding that he had stolen items, and did not have an ID. he then did notice the lack of an id, and rushed the wizard with hardly any interaction to the hops desk and demanded that the captain give the wizard an id. Or where jackboots jawdat chases a armed durand, tearing weapons off of it and hitting it with a plastic knife in a public area. there is also the problem that jackboots jawdat is completely unbelievable from an employment view, switching from HoP, CSI, and detective on a whim. one other problem with jawdat as hop, is that he will constantly bait people into slipping up in their work, only for him to try and punish them however he sees fit. anything from deducting pay, to a swirly, or even suspension. all while he does this he will act as carefree as he wants, disregarding any duty he has for hop, or any job. as for prospekts jawdat, hikmat. not all of these apply to him, he can be a good officer, and sometimes Head of security. rarely will he act in a foolish manner. this however changes the moment that you put them together, where hikmat seems to take on the bad habits of jackboots jawdat. another problem i have with prospekts jawdat, that he has no interest to rp with anyone other than jackboots jawdat. silently looking for antags, only to speak when he needs something, or to make a one liner when people try to talk to him. i have also noticed that he will at times go afk and not do anything at all. this normally happens on extended. thank you for reading this. Did you attempt to adminhelp the issue at the time? If so, what was the known action taken by administration/moderation? I did ahelp before i made this post. I wanted to see what staff had to say, and if they could offer advice. Approximate Date/Time: 8/12/2017 12:54AM EST
  3. I thought about it for awhile, and curiosity got the better of me. My most played character, thoughts?
  4. Hi, im mandy blackwells creator, going to keep this short. As far as the ic interation went, i have no grudge against either of them and as far as im concerned this should just stay in ic, however its up to the admins wether you really deserve punishment. It should also be noted that jimmy did apologize to mandy in ic. There is one problem though, that this image was posted on reddit. I dont know if it was either of you, as i dont go on reddit, but this is really disgusting behaviour to post something like this out in the open. And as those people who have posted before me have said, it does not hold the server in a good light.
  5. Reporting Personnel: Mandy Ray Blackwell Rank of Reporting Personnel: Security Officer Game ID: bPf-bq5y Personnel Involved: - Derek Stafford, Security Officer, Offender - Dina Hegarty, Captain, Witness - Michael Tool, Head of Security, Witness - Pierre Leonce, Security Officer, Witness - Sean Thomson, Security Officer, Victim - Arytom Veskov, Engineering Apprentice, Victim Time of Incident: Real time: 4:00AM ET 1/7/2017 Location of Incident: Security, Brig, Solitary cell #1 Nature of Incident: []Workplace Hazard []Accident/Injury []Destruction of Property []Neglect of Duty []Harassment []Assault [x]Misconduct []Other _____ (Place an x in the box that applies. If other, replace line and specify.) Overview of the Incident: After Veskov had been moved to a solitary cell for disruptive behavior in the brig, it was found that Veskov was able to cause noticeable destruction to the cell. officers Leonce, Thomson, and Stafford were then formed up on the cell to remove Veskov's contraband. when the door to the cell was opened, officer Stafford proceeded to draw his sidearm, rather than a flash, pepperspray, or even baton, and fired two shots into the cell. the first bullet missed Veskov, and the second bullet hit officer Thomson who was in no way in the way of the cell door. Veskov was then stunned with batons by both Leonce and Stafford, which then the contraband was removed. Did you report it to a Head of Department or IAA? If so, who?: At the time there was no IAA, and the captain and Head of Security were both present to witness. Actions taken: No actions were taken by both the Captain or the Head of security, there was no IAA present at the time. Additional notes:
  6. Good officer, knows corp regs very well, and thrives in high stress situations. +1
  7. I stand by everything datberry says, and have my own concerns as well. Countless times have i seen you abusing inmates, commiting many amber infractions ontop of this one in partucular (i201, i204, i214, i218, and i219). Not only this but you powergame like i have seen no other officer do. You consistantly raid the brig for any and all items that could be even slightly used to break out of the brig at the begining of each shift. Even going so far as to display the bottle of booze in the brig right in the center of your office! Ontop of this, you are stingy with the armory, but in no way that is acceptable (to me, atleast). There have been countless times where i have seen you walking around on blue with upwards of three armory weapons, while a team of 4 or more officers are left with only two weapons amongst themselves. To add insult to injury on this you seem to enjoy berating officers in that they are incompetent, when it is your own doing that they cannot complete their tasks! Ive even talked to admins on this specific case, and was going to submit an IR. But as this event took place on a test of the new map, it was not canon and i decided to drop it. This was all on your security behavior, i still havent even got to the fact that your character is also somehow a esteemed roboticist, and that that is a whole other can of worms (see player complaints. The reason i bring this up is that i have not seen a change in adolphs behavior in this regard, and that it has even landed him a IR before). All in all, the amount of powergaming i see you do is asstounding, and i simply do not think you are ready for a head of staff position, and expecially not the head of security. Thank you for reading! Tl:dr its a no for me.
  8. Please, please do not nerf cuffs, and heres why! Well start with having to grab people and why this is bad. As it stands a suspect who is cooperating with sec, and who is in order of needing to be arrested will now have to be forcefully grabbed to cuff. This knocks all rp of a peaceful arrest right out the window. Do you really want every arrest tagged along with "x grabs y passively"? And you would no doubt have to take it to an aggressive grab to actually cuff them, how else would it work for someone who is resisting like a madman? Now lets talk about two people aiding each other to get out of handcuffs. While this would be somewhat nice, it is completly unrealistic. As coalf had said once, it is unrealistic that a single person can even get out of cuffs! How would they even do this (a single person, mind you)? Do they have a key, are the cuffs made of flimsy material, are they breaking their hand to get out of them? Simply put, getting out of cuffs in general without the aid of someone who is uncuffed is simply for gameplays sake. As for opening doors while cuffed...i could see this, with only doors you had access too, ofcourse. This would make officers more diligent while in processing, and in any other situation where they are with a cuffed suspect. You could say that im impartial to this. Now for the last one. Really, dragging or pulling with your hands full is really more of a code (or meta/powergame) issue. It could be sovled though changing the code, or by enforcing it via admins. Im impartial to this, but ill explain the downsides of making a change to this. That downside is that there simply isnt enough sec to rely on for this. Sure, there are times where sec is stacked, there are times where sec is very competent and on point, but there are opposite times as well. In cases such as these, a single officer for a shift would have a neigh impossible time dealing with the chaos that most rounds bring. Thanks for reading! Tl:dr cuffs are fine, leave them be.
