"The Cadet got killed because they were trying to cuff me, and couldve very easily flashed me down, they admitted they were trying to cuff me in dsay. After I turned you all to stone and ran, I came back to see if you were unfrozen to negotiate, cue the AI locking me down and Hammerstein coming in with a shotgun." I fail to see what the difference is between their action on you. are you saying if they attacked you in a different way rather than cuffing you would not have killed them? can you explain this? And hammerstein did not attack you first, i could hear the staff of change going off as soon as you walked out of the armory, i never heard a single sound from the security equipment makes. BYOND Key: Mcspizzy Game ID: This happens just about every single time Xander dies or when something does not go his way, however the most recent rounds i can think of is this one bRi-a0eK (wizard) and bRi-aLA4 (ninja) Player Byond Key: XanderDox Staff involved: I myself did not ahelp xander over what happened that round, but as for previous events, im sure some have delt with this. Reason for complaint: The reason for my complaint is pretty straight forward. Whenever xander dies, or is met with something that he does not agree with ingame and has no power to change, he will immediately either begin making passive aggressive remarks or harassing players in looc, in some cases both. In the rounds listed above, xander makes multiple looc interactions with players calling them out for for killing him or inconveniencing him. As with the Wizard round, xander makes looc remarks against myself and Bath salts addict for killing him after he blew up parts of the station, statue'd three people, killed a cadet and attacked BSA, and turned a crew member non-human, which is considered murder as of the CCIA notice 'Slimes Experiments & Non-sapient Xenological Lifeforms', Which all started because i had asked to see their ID. And with the ninja round being Xander attacking @unknownmurderer in looc after they killed them as the ninja. I'm not sure what sort of action should be taken against this, if at all. I'm not sure if xander has had a history with this with admins. But at the very least, i would like to see this kind of behaviour stopped. Did you attempt to adminhelp the issue at the time? If so, what was the known action taken by administration/moderation? I did not ahelp xander when he did such as the Wizard. I really didn't want to have him get in trouble, as he can be fun to interact with icly and his characters nicely done. But it seems that this is the only way to have this behaviour resolved. No, i'd rather not be a moderator. If it helps in deciding, i will now retract my app. And thank you for the kind words to my security efforts. Our first endevour into creating a 'official' security suggestion may have flopped a bit, but it has in no way dicrouraged me from continuing it, as i have more planned to improve security.

What do moderators do?: Moderators do a lot of things here, more than other ss13 servers, more than other places in general. Mods not only deal with problems ingame, but also on the forums. Mods can be responsible for maintaining parts of the community, although the extent of this i do know. but, to me, the most important part of being a mod is to help players. Mods are the ones who normally the first to answer ahelps pertaining the questions on the game, and from what i have seen are always willing to share their knowledge of the game. They are, so to say, mentors to the comunity. What does it mean to be a moderator for our server?: To me, being a mod for aurora means that you have taken a step in the direction of helping the comunity grow. It means that the comunity trusts you, and that you are to set the example for others to follow. Why do you want to be a moderator?: To be honest, i don't. I stand by what nuke and kryes1 have said. I have yet to see jones as an antag not creating drive to the round. HOWEVER, i will say that jones's sexual advances on the crew are frequent and in some cases unwarranted or random. This behavior though, i have seen diminish. I assume kryes had taken note of the reception of his actions and had himself tone them down. I can even vouch for this if it is the case, as my character mandy had (and still is, kinda) been a frequent target for these actions to be deployed on. Since then, i have seen this behavior be a bit more tame. I second nuke on the only punishment (if any is warranted.) be a staff member ask them to tone it down.

Unfortunatly, i read this part wrong. you're putting words into my mouth. My statement in looc was the following to kirk: "i really hope that they are an antag, because the stuff they are doing is insane." Not much point to adding this, seeing as judgement from berry has already been given. But i just wanted to point this out.

These two things happen in literal moments apart from each other, i can't say that you wouldnt have asked the ai to do this even if there were no threats. And let's take a moment to talk about you giving yourself a promotion. First off, do you have the authority to promote yourself or others? no, you dont, you dont have access to the captains office, or any other heads office. You took it upon yourself to commit grand theft of the captains spare id, to infiltrate the bridge, and to exceed your official powers to do this. All three of these are amber infractions and are things that antags normally do, and were you an antag? nope, i think you need to remember where you are ingame. You're on a high security research station with very sensitive information. A lot of this information is only privy to heads of staff, and is not to get into the hands of non command staff. What you did is, as i put it to someone, as if a janitor of the pentagon decided he wanted to take a look around the bowls of the place, and make a few decrees. And if this isn't clear, allow me to make it: The only people who can promote people are already standing heads of staff, specifically the HoP and the captain. You cannot promote yourself for any reason. If i am wrong, may an admin please correct me. You spammed resist to get out of the cuffs the entire time, making it impossible to talk to you without having to flash, and then use a baton on you because i went through two flashes to get you through processing. About all i could get out was what your charges were and why you were being arrested. Not to mention, there were way bigger things going on than going back and forth with you. So do you want roleplay or do you want to bust out and beat my head in. @smirking_kirk can attest to them doing this. Reason for complaint: Original ahelp here (edited for grammar and the sake of clarification in the complaint): Warden cruz started her shift by asking the ai to let her into the captain's office, where she took the spare id and used it to make herself a head of staff, as there were not heads at the time. She then used her new access to use a command terminal to change the alert to blue, following the death of two crew members, and a breakin. When the crew member that was found breaking into secure areas was found, she immediately put them in a cell after stripping them of their gear. There was at no point an attempt to process them in fashion to standard operations. It was then later found that she was attempting to arrest crew members with little to no evidence or warrant (this apparently was because a EMT (Izzsi Saeed, played by munks?) was standing next to a emergency shutter). When confronted by security for her actions, she attempted to flee, going so far as to pull out a lethal weapon and attempt to use it on security forces(she never got a shot out, but admitted her intent when drawn was to use it on us). It should be noted that security used zero lethal force during this time. It was found after the round had ended they they were not a traitor, and her initial actions possibly were not influenced by the antagonists, seeing as it happened so early in the round. It should also be noted that shortly after being brigged for these actions they ghosted and sent me messages in LOOC, such as: "You're regretting arresting me now, aren't you~?" Did you attempt to adminhelp the issue at the time? If so, what was the known action taken by administration/moderation? No admin intervention occurred, i did DM sircatnip on what i should do, however. Approximate Date/Time: 10/6/2017 4:00am EST notes: This person just applied for Head whitelist, and it shows from their notes posted there that this is something that happens quite bit.

I should also add, that there is the problem of heads adding notes for antag related sutuations, how do you plan to adress this? Because i can already see a head adding notes to someone who is an antag, or delt with one it some way or another, unless these notes can somehow be added after the round ends.

Opamator is one of the VERY few officers i can put my trust into 100% of the time. He can handle the stress, he can handle the responsibility, and he can handle himself to make the right, or atleast best choice in any situation. Opamator is a fine character, and one that has room to expand on his already grounded roots. +1

Hello, at this time i think that this thread should be locked and archived. both Prospekt and jackboot have looked at how their rp has affected other players, and i thank both of them for how they responded to this complaint.

gunny makes me laugh, though at times his words will get him into more trouble than he can handle. personally i think he's fine, but it never would hurt to think about saving some of the more vulgar things for when he is an antag, that way you can beat them up too! i've never talked to your other characters, other than short, memey bursts with senri.

I guess i have to be 100% litteral when around you in discord, huh. I'd like to request an admin look into this ahelp, as these two game IDs are the rounds were it happened: bPX-aAda & bPX-aXSj . as id rather there be actual facts posted, rather than him posting discord screen caps of general, where people will post things that if you were to do ingame you would be banned. Him calling this his proof and calling me a liar is pretty obscene. now, id like to know what you were doing with the camera, because it sure looked like it to me, that you were trying to take advantage of me being afk to take a picture of a security officer drinking on the job, something that gets peoples characters fired. id also like to know why it took a second LOOC post for you to finally stop.

well, there is a large misunderstanding. I tried to tell you this on the discord, three times. i did not ahelp you for force feeding me water in medbay. if you were ahelped during that time, it was by someone else. Now, i assume that you are the IPC warden, who was an officer the next round. I cant remember the name of them, but if that was you i would appreciate you confirming this. as it will not only help admins in figuring this out, but will also help me, for ill continue with what happened the next round. as stated, the round after the IPC warden was now an officer. we had been patrolling for a while, and i had to go afk for a bit. now, earlier in the round, an engineer had built a mini bar near medbay and sec. this spot happened to be where we were patrolling, and where i had gone afk. every time i go afk, i type in LOOC that i have gone afk, so people know whats up. while i was afk, the IPC warden/officer pulled me over to the bar counter, set me in a seat, and pulled out a camera. at the time, i had peaked over to my screen to see this happening, and moved away, while also typing in LOOC to tell them to stop, that i was afk. the IPC kept pulling me toward the counter, and i had to completely stop what i was doing out of game to fight with them. when i typed again in looc for them to stop, they ran off. i then ahelped, asking an admin to show them the rule on AFK/SSD player interaction, and why its bad to do so. i did add a section on force feeding, as we were in the area of alcohol, and booze, with the character not stoping after being asked to in LOOC.
