Dear Samantha, Upon reading this report, it is my regrettable news to tell you that I will be resigning my position of Chief Medical Officer upon the NSS Aurora. I have worked many shifts with Allison. Over this period, I did not once check her qualifications or her age. As the head of the medical department, it was my responsibility to oversee this and my failure to do so has resulted in the above incident report. I believe my behaviour to be a neglect of duty and I now relinquish my position within the command staff on Aurora. I believe that my conduct has been without a doubt, unacceptable and that i have been compromised emotionally. I wish you all the best in your endeavors. Waiting at escape, screen still lighting up, I'm not really paying attention, but I was pushing a guy in a wheel chair around. Suddenly the animation stops and for some reason, I imagined that the shuttle had come. Don't know why, I must have been really really tired. Now, this is before we had locks on the escape air locks so I literally just start walking out and poof, I'm floating through space. Boink "hello, what are you doing?" I thought "shit, I'm getting banned again" Explained how stupid I felt and how I was really sorry and... Teleport! What's this? Why am I on a station? And why are there suddenly moon bears devouring me? "Your punishment has been moon bears, don't do it again." I fell in love.

So I have been playing ss13 for quite a few months now. In that time, I have learned all about the game, it's mechanics, how to RP to the best of my ability and what is acceptable behaviour and what REALLY isn't. The purpose of this thread is to get back to our roots and how how far we have come. Example: I began on Bay. There, as I was learning how to switch hands and equip and unequip, there was a Borg that showed me around named N.O.S.E Now to my noob self, I actually thought all bots were named N.O.S.E, so for the longest time, whenever I wanted to call a bot, I'd say "can someone go and get the Nose and bring it here?" Needless to say I felt very sheepish after learning the truth. So yeah, give us your worst.

This has actually been a huge problem for me also. I played a peaceful ling one round. Ate roughly about 17 protohumans before someone wised up. Was taken to the brig. Explained that I was a peaceful alien race but that I needed to eat human and that protohumans were a nice alternative to nomming on the crew. Still, they locked me up until transfer. Reasoning? 17?! 17 protohumans?!? Must be dangerous... I don't know. I don't play security, as I have a terrible internet connection and so cannot play security. I'm sure that if I did, I would be a lot more sympathetic, however as an outsider looking in, I have a hard time working my way around the minefield that is security. An easy to understand concept would help both sides of this, I'm sure.

Sue, from what I understand, accepts people who make cat whitelists. Could not sue also be the one to accept cat language whitelists also?

It would kill the RP opportunities for the cats to be sneaky sneaky talking about the humans Give me more pros and cons to put under these titles and I'll update it

How hard would it be to code?

Having had Callum as my pAI for a round, I must say that I enjoined the experience immensely. This back story is well written and I always get a nice fuzzy feeling when AI stop being bound and start becoming free. It appeals to my sense ofjustice. Nice warm feelings inside. Mmmm, yes, very nice. +1

So it has been a long long time since my question about Siik Maas. What are everyone's thoughts after all of this? An idea I have is that the community around a human player may have to actually teach the human the language over a number of rounds through RP before they are allowed to learn it. They could have an impediment, whether RP or drunk speak. They could make it work. Like I said before, this should be a white list only. We don't want people having the language with no RP reason for having it. Thoughts?
