Businesses are moving toward completely paperless systems to save on costs and the environment. Emails would be outdated even then but at least they would be a step up from the current fax machines. Edit: also git spacebook in dis gehme, lolkthx.

Not sure if this belongs here, but could we update to sending emails instead of faxes? Like, who even faxes these days, let alone so far into the future...

As Charlie, I get on station and Gay (he he he, please find a new name or put an e on the end) said "I am faxing through something". Jaylor is waiting in the lobby as I make my way in and he, Beatrix and I get talking. We go to my office. I pick up the page and scan it, asking Jay what it's all about. I give it to Bea, who has started being every heads assistant, and tell her to take notes. I call the head if security down and they all start talking. Unfortunately, Charlie had a bunch of other medical matters to deal with so she left them in her office. My point is, the matter was being talked about ICly with IC ideas coming out from heads on how to deal with it. This all could have easily been deal with there and I am still of the opinion it should be. Makes for a much fun time for everyone and adds character interaction and friendship.

In response to this, I will illustrate what had gone through my mind. I had taken the post of acting captain to deal with a threat to the station. When on my way to the bridge to message central, the bio hazard attacked leaving the bridge vented. I donned EVA equipment and prepared to assist the responding crew sent to fight the blob. I was attached and my suit punctured. I left the scene and ran towards medbay but collapsed before getting there. A man that looked like a detective picked me up, removing my suit, ID, PDA and back pack. Please note that I was acting captain at the time and so the prospect of having the spare ID removed from me was quite daunting, not mention that my CMO ID was also in my back pack. I blacked out multiple times, hearing only snippets of what you were saying. In the times I was awake, I considered the that to the station then the bio hazard to be more then enough reason to call the shuttle, as from what i could see and hear, lives were being lost. All my brain processed was "get to the bridge, call the shuttle, get the bridge, call the shuttle" When I awoke each time, my only goal was that. I believe I went into a kind of shock and may not have had total cognitive control. Even one of my good friends, Bryce, asked why I was acting this way, but I ignored him. An officer named Jade something (I apologise, my memory of these events is tarnished) brought the spare back me saying "she had used it to call help." This did not register in my mind, only that my ID had been taken and had been reined and that goal could be achieve. I went in for a second surgery after the first failure and again, fought to to get to bridge, this time succeeding. I called the shuttle and collapsed, being taken back for yet another surgery. I did not know that the ERT had been called and was contacted over the command channel by the ERT that on its way. The leading trooper denoted me, took me into his office, where I explained the situation. He then restored me to acting captain as central called a crew transfer. As someone who mains medical, I definitely want this. In fact, while we are at it, could we somehow how more division between all the roles in medbay? Surgeons are people that are seperate to doctors. Doctors are different to ambulance drivers and ambulance drivers are different to nurses and those guys that push people in beds and wheel chairs from one floor in the hospital to the next. Medical is a definite skill that takes years to master. The jobs within should not be passed around willy nilly. CMOs in my opinion should have a much higher cut off age then 30. They know general medical, surgery, chemistry, genetics, virology and of course are command position trained. Here is my cents. There are two of them.

I have played wolf among us, walking dead and now, as of a few days ago, game of thrones, e1. When [xXxX] died at the end, I literally got up and left the room and had to hold myself, rocking backwards and forwards for a little while. Then I remembered. It's game of thrones. Why did I think I could get attached to a character and not see them suffer or dead? Silly me.
