So, you're interested in what is quite possibly, without a reasonable doubt, the best archetype not only in anime, but in all forms of entertainment. Climb aboard then, and delve into the world of tsunderes. Maybe you realized that tsunderes are great, or What is a tsundere? A tsundere is one of the four main personalities an anime character can have, if a creator decides to use the 'base' personalities. The other (very much less important) ones include the yandere, kuudere, and dandere, with a deredere personality coming up so often. The main premise of a tsundere, is a character who is generally rude or just an outright asshole to their love interest. Some popular tsunderes include Asuka from NGE, Rin from Fate/stay, Haruhi from Haruhi Suzumiya, Louise from Familiar of Zero, and Taiga from Toradora. Types of Tsunderes Every tsundere character is on a sliding scale, but for the most part you have two types of tsunderes. Your first type of tsunderes are more 'tsuntsun' than they are 'deredere' when they start off. What this means is that a more 'tsuntsun' tsundere are more prone to violent outbursts, and are generally more hot-headed compared to a more moderate tsundere or a more 'deredere' tsundere. A tsundere who is more 'tsuntsun' will often be the ones who attack their love interest in ways that are played for laughs, or it's just waved off as a 'normal' thing the person does. On the far opposite side, you have a tsundere who is more 'deredere' than they are 'tsuntsun'.These tsunderes normally don't come off as tsunderes right away, unlike your more moderate and more 'tsuntsun' tsunderes do. A lot of the characteristics that make up a tsundere only occur in this character, when somebody or something triggers a 'tsundere' response, such as an angry outburst. Unlike the other types of tsunderes, they are generally more calm, and friendly. Tsunderes as a whole can fall anywhere on the scale, and can go from full blown 'tsuntsun', or to complete 'deredere'. In most anime, if a tsundere is the main character's love interest, they will eventually shift to a more 'deredere' state if they are of a more 'tsuntsun' by the end of the series, while a 'deredere' tsundere may lose the tsundere aspect altogether if they are the love interest. Other Notes Tsunderes, along with the other archetypes, are generally female, but there are a good deal of male tsunderes as well, such as Kyo from Fruit Baskets, or Jinta from Anohana. Tsunderes, unlike yandere, don't suffer from (quite literally insane) homicidal thoughts, nor the bore-factor that kuuderes do. Conclusion Hopefully this post has helped you better understand what a tsundere is, and why they are great. With this new knowledge, it is highly encouraged that you seek out others, and enlighten them on why non-tsundere characters quite literally belong in the trash can.

The only real way to 'download' it now is by the free standalone version, that can be found here. http://www.realitymod.com/downloads So yeah, it's free now so that's not an issue.

When I was working with 911 operators, this is how they had their computers setup. It always looked so confusing, and just weird.

Do you like games like ARMA, but your computer is trash and can't play it? Do you like ARMA, but think the way it's done is stupid? Do you just like Battlefield, and want it more 'realistic'? If you said 'yes' to any or all of those, you should probably be checking out Project Reality if you haven't. As a decently old-ish mod for Battlefield 2, Project Reality attempts to recreate the popular FPS by implementing more realistic features. A much more heavy focus of squad based mechanics is in the game itself creates a community in which each squad has an important (and specialized) role, should they be flying a helicopter, driving an APC, or running around on foot. Unlike main Battlefield games, it's impossible for an infantry squad to take control of an abandoned APC, or a transport-helicopter crew to land and drive around in a boat. Due to PR being on the BF2 engine, any computer that was bought within the last few years will be able to play the game smoothly. At the same time, the BF2 engine makes Project Reality look dated, but it doesn't take away too much from the game. Some videos of the game: So yeah. Anybody else ever play PR?

Ugh, those pronouns. They could have just used "they" or "the character" is they wanted to remain neutral. "Does your character keep their physique, despite that their eating and/or exercising habits decree that they should be under or overweight." Donuts are healthy, right? From Golle's: 6. (Dank). From Killer's: Jade Rathel is only a little like you. She is not at all cool; in fact, she thinks cool is a temperature reading, and when she says "Oh, I just put on whatever old thing's lying around," she means "on the floor, where I threw it last night - but I turned the underwear inside out first." There's never been anything special about her that she could see; boy, is she in for a surprise. She's got no emotional scars to speak of. And she's gotten no slack from you. In general, you care deeply about Jade Rathel, but you're smart enough to let her stand on her own, without burdening her with your personal fantasies or propping her up with idealization and over-dramatization. Jade Rathel is a healthy character with a promising career ahead of her. _____________________ What have we learned today class? It's that Jade is still the greatest. That, or I'm supposed to make her past a lot more tragic.

Yeah yeah, there's already a thread about this, but it was back in early summer. I'm not one into necrobumping, so I thought it would be better to just start up a new thread. Must like the older thread, this is merely here to house people's enjoyment of any and all books. Maybe you are only reading The Magic Treehouse or something. Whatever you like read, discuss that here, yo. On the subject of that, we should discuss the fact that Battle Royale is one of the best novels (of it's subject, of course). It also may or may not be one of my favorite novels (along with Lord of the Flies, but who doesn't love that?) It has all the stuff you want, that the rip-off novels like Hunger Games and Divergent refused to touch. For one, the story actually make sense. Second, the people actually know each other so you got to read about long-time friends betraying each other. That's always great right? You get the saddest deaths in the "teenagers-killing-each-other-in-a-government-event" genre of books. What more could you ask for? So, on that note, discuss other books that are swell, and that you like.

i can solo queue 50 hrs for Gold Nova 3, are you shit at csgo? The first twenty-thirty was before Comp required a level 3 casual rank to get into comp. And it takes fucking forever to get to level 3 if you're only playing casual.
-
So, I managed to finally get out of the pit of Silver Elite and SEM, in only 90 hours, and got to GN2 by 100 hours. Here's the issue though: I solo queue. If you play CS:GO, you know how terrible it is to be stuck in a MM by yourself, so here is what I'm asking. We need to get an Aurora team together for CS:GO, so we can do well and be able to blame people we know, instead of strangers. So, can we get some teams being set up here?

in other words "jade rathel is based off my 2d waifu", for those who didn't understand. What.
-
Jade Rathel ...was actually adopted into the Rathel family at a young age, and therefore isn't blood-related to her family. ...enjoys most poetry, even if her attempts at haikus seem half-assed. ...was originally based off Taiga Aiska for quite a lot, such as her height (which was changed by an inch), hair color, and base personality. As the last months went on, she took aspects from other characters Rin Tohsaka, but more importantly grew into a more unique personality. ...is rather crappy at defending herself in a normal fight, despite the training of her job.

Good thing Jade already won the first game, so that she doesn't have to make a reappearance and wrek more. :^)

emergency login detected coordinates: Invalid Coordinates talk-to-text transmission incoming Fucking hell. I finally got this up and working, and I can't even get connected to somebody. Oh wait a minute...did it actually work this time? transmission disconnected reconnecting... And now it's trying to drop out on me, just amazing. Can it get any more cliched than this? Look, if anybody is hearing...reading this, I need some help. I am, Private Sam Hender of the United States National Guard. I don't know if anybody gives fuck, but write my name down or something. transmission signal failing transmission signal fixed No, no no. God-damn it. Alright, I need to get moved, maybe I can get this signal to stop messing up or whatever. I'm going to try and make this as short as possible. I just barely got out of basic training, and shit is going down. So, get this. I can sent my unit, down in Virginia, and a few days ago, I get told we're going to fly out somewhere else to do some training. Like, cool, I get to ride in a helicopter right? Well, we were all pilling in. Everybody knew everybody else, besides me of course. So, kinda nervous whatever. We got into the air, and everything is going fine. After like, ten minutes maybe, I heard this huge 'wham'. I heard somebody yelling that we had hit a wall. I know, right? A fucking wall in the middle of the sky? We were literally stuck, like I could see we weren't moving anymore. They acted like this was normal, but the fucking sound of crunching metal kept getting louder, and to be pretty honest, kinda painful. It was like you were slamming a baseball bat against a car hood twenty times over. Anyways, I felt something hit my side, and then my head. I woke up, sitting in the exact same place as before I blacked out. Except now, the helicopter is perfectly fine, or I'd assume, into the ground, and nobody is around. It's dark outside, so I don't know if they're on the ground or what but...damn. I found this tablet up in the pilot's seat. It has one of those old-school mics hooked up, and some program that kept scanning for connections. I think I got it to actually find one. That, or I'm saying all of this crap for no reason. I'm going to take the tablet and move somewhere, and try to find something that looks familiar. A little human contact wouldn't hurt until I could find the rest of the team though, so if somebody, if anybody is there, just could send me a message or something to keep me form going insane, that'd be great. I figured out how to set-up the two-way communication, but I'm not sure how stable it is. I'm going to drop the connection now, but you should still be able to talk, text, or whatever, and it should get through to my end. Say 'hello', 'fuck off' or just whatever. Right, I'm going to go. transmission ended response availability: YES please type or speak your response now ________________________________________________________________________________ OOC Notes: This is very heavily inspired by the mobile-games Lifeline and Lifeline 2 (feel free to Google that if you don't know that they are, it would help a good deal). The RP will also be influenced by (almost) every response. While you will have choices that change how the story plays out, Sam will refuse to do anything outright stupid, or that doesn't seem like a good idea at a time. Certain things that Sam may refuse to do at first, may get reluctant acceptance if some sort of persuading is done. Responses will be much less restrictive than Lifeline (which only gives you two choices to pick from), but the first response sent will be the first one that Sam will respond to. The second, will be the second, and so forth. The initial story may or may not take a while to get off the ground, but if people stay with it, the action will pick up considerably.

/!\ READ - STATE OF TAJARAN /!\
VoltageHero replied to Susan's topic in Whitelist Applications Archives
I honestly wish this didn't happen as much as it did. It's like people want to say 'look at me, I can speak in a language you can't read'. Oh boy, you don't know how much shit Security would get in for doing something like this, ICly. -
Slapping somebody on the wrist and saying "no, you can't do that" is not very useful, after a while. Sure, you could say that you could get Sue to remove their whitelist, but wouldn't that end up getting the same response as this (assuming people would leave)? As Nebula stated, most of the entitled Tajaran aren't actually even in Command. I don't believe the players who have non-goofy Tajaran wouldn't have much problem with creating another whitelist (or I'd assume so), and it would prevent random players who suddenly want to be the CMO or whatever, as a Tajaran, to just jump in and do it.

Moe Central (Also Known As The Anime Thread)

> Not having a 2D waifu. :^) -
Welcome. This is probably the most important thread in the entire forum. Here, discussions relating to the highest form of visual art can happen. What To Do Here: - Talk about how great anime is. - Discuss how another user's waifu is complete and utter garbage. - Talk about your favorite anime. What Not To Do Here: - Lie, and say that anime is trash. To start off this great thread off, I'll start off with the literal goddess of waifus. That is off course Taiga Aiska. Discuss why none of your waifus could even come close to her. Also, talk about some other anime stuff.

Ban Jboy instead, plz.

I meant to reply to this, but forgot about it. I thought I had put it in the first post, but I may not have. If you want to add tropes to a character that isn't yours, that is fine. That said, if there is something completely outrageous, or is a trope of a player and not a charcter, adding it wouldn't be fine. That said again though, if you have some tropes that aren't too-far-out-there, then feel free to add tropes to characters that are not yours. It'll help the page grow, too.
-
Updated once again. As a note: Any mention of somebody talking about themselves in the first person, will get replaced to "this troper" or "the player". Doing that so it doesn't look like I'm giving a character special attention, or am claiming the character is my own. It also goes a bit in line with TVtropes itself.
-
Bumping this so people can be reminded.
-
Ta-da. Updated once again. I'll get around to putting up Jade. Eventually. Jade has been added as well.
-
The first few entries have been added into the department part on the first post.

As somebody who has had to work with bees quite a lot in the past, I don't think botany's bees make much sense at all. I mean, I guess you could say things ran backwards in progression in 2457, but, it'd be odd. Regarding bees, a few things could be done, to make it more realistic. First off, replace the more "natural" looking bee-hives with 8-frames. 8-frames are pretty much what every person with bees uses, seeing as it's more practical than trying to honey from a natural bee-hive. As suggested as well, add smokers. While this doesn't actually nullify all the actions of bees, it keeps them from becoming too agitated. How does this translate, ingame? Instead of chasing after players, bees that have had the smoker applied on their hive, will stay pretty much on top of the hive, but still still sting. While we're talking about bees and chasing, while I doubt it would be possible, it would be nice to see bees have a certain distance that they will follow somebody from the hive, before returning to the hive. Bees wouldn't chase you across the entire station (although I'm not sure if that's what happens currently). After they decided you were an acceptable length away from their hive, most of them would return, with possibly one or two buzzing around you still. Oh, yeah. And a beekeeping suit.

Hello. I decided "hey, why not get people the ability to give characters tropes," and here we are, so without stalling, I'll explain things. How Does This Work? Much like actual character page, on this thread we will give tropes to characters who play on the station. For the sake of not making the thing fifty spoilers worth, please don't throw in every single character you play as (even if you think it'd be a funny joke). You may ask, how are we going to give a character a trope, and who can? The answer to that is simple. First off, tropes will be taken from TVtropes itself, and like TVtropes, anybody can submit changes or additions to a character's trope. Every addition or change should have some sort of explanation on why the trope is added. Don't add By The Book Cop, on a character who this doesn't apply to, unless there is some subverted trope or the like. Won't That Be Chaotic? No. The player of the character has the right to remove or change any trope that is added on their character - within reason. This is not the place where you shape your character to your liking. The tropes should reflect how the other players view your character, and what tropes they best reflect them. If a player wanted their character to be a stoic, hard-as-stone doctor, but roleplays them as a cheerful, care-free person, this should be reflect in the tropes in some fashion. That said, the player can remove tropes that seem to be added just to be rude, silly, or whatever. How Do We Add Tropes? For this, the easiest way for us to make the tropes "work" is by using a simple(ish) method. Once you have the character's trope, simply type (or click at the top) [b ] trope name [/b]. Without the spaces, this would look like this: Broken Bird . Simple, right? Where Do We Find The Tropes? If you want or if you have a specific trope in mind, you can search through TVtropes for it. If you don't have any tropes in mind, and don't know where to start, I suggest searching through the followings index pages. Basic Character Trope Index , Medical Character Trope Index , Security Character Trope Index . Important Info: It's strongly suggested that you add some sort of description for any character that you want to put on character sheet, so that there is some basic info for people who may or may not know the character. As well, please include the department that the character is in, so that it can be sorted accordingly. This page will also most likely not show up on the SS13's tvtropes page, unless the majority of players lobby for it to be. Why Are You Doing This? Because it's fun, you fun-gobbler. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ This is the character page for the 2D-space game, Space Station 13!
