  1. I, in fact, stated that the Protect law says that the protection is according to the rank, which is a truth, not rule lawyering. And I also said in the OOC chat that a threat is a threat, nothing more. You are asking the Staff to warn me for... something that I could have done, althought I didn't do it? Yeah you are way too salty. And by the way, I started calling you hater after I was told by the adminship that I had to manage the haters, and all the hate, so this is my way of handling it.
  2. In fact, tbe area was not syphoned, that's why I said this complaint is totally pointless. No, I am not wrong, stating a threat in ordee to dissuade is a smart idea, and probably actually doing what I threatened to do wasn't so smart. And yeah, I call you haters because that's what you are, when I stated that the OOC chat exploded in a ball of hate and... well, that. And here you are, starting a complaint against me... because you want me to say you are right, while you are saying I rule lawyered, being this a false accusation. Since VT started a complaint, accusating me of something false (and he knew it was when starting it), I ask the Staff to close this complaint and warn him not to state false accusations.
  3. Of course I will explain my side. First I will quote the Rule Lawyering definition "Do not flower-pick your law interpretation to give yourself more play over a functioning command team. This is known as Rules lawyering" Since I did nothing (yes I stated it and I will proceed to explain the reason behind that statement now), this complaint is kind of... well, hate and nothing more. If I had done it, it would make sense to create a complaint for rule lawyering. First, it was a situation without Officers or Cadets, and I had to handle it alone as AI, in fact, I had locked that guy inside an elevator until he used the portable teleporter that he stole from the Captain's Office. Second. The intruder was inside the Atmos Room, and, if he wished to, and known how to do it, he could have created a real problem. I stated that threat in order to dissuade the criminal from doing anything. It is a smart decision to state a threat, since stating that threat is not breaking any law, not even getting close to it. If I had done it, we could be talking about something different, but since I didn't, I really think this complaint is pointless.
  4. I like viruses cause they put an end extended rounds EDIT: They add something to boring rounds, they do not appear that often and well, you would be removing a good part of the Virology job if many of them are self-curing. It's cool to be a Virologist and encounter a lethal or at least severe virus outbreak Still -1
  5. Reporting Personnel: Markus Flynch Job Title of Reporting Personnel: Station Engineer / Electrician Game ID: bXb-djOk Personnel Involved: (Name, Job Title: Offender/Witness/Other) - Bradley Stennett, Chief Engineer, Offender - Trylls Kilp-Umiish, Head of Security, Witness - Lokya Ariel, Security Officer, Witness - Also quoting the logs of the AI, Arlo Time of Incident: Station time 20:00-20:30 Real time: 23:00-23:30 (UTC+1) Location of Incident: Engineering Lobby/Engineering Hallway Nature of Incident: []Workplace Hazard []Accident/Injury []Destruction of Property [X]Neglect of Duty [X]Harassment [X]Assault [X]Misconduct []Other _____ (Place an x in the box that applies. If other, replace line and specify.) Overview of the Incident: The station was undergoing severe power problems, a major power loss wouldn't allow people to go through Arrivals or to use the elevators without the help of a crowbar or a synth. I, as Engineer, started working on it, already noticing that the Chief Engineer wasn't able to fix it on his own, and that he was becoming more and more nervous, for example, yelling at the AI (Arlo) to stop trying to fix it with the RCON. I went into the Engineering Lobby since I knew what was the issue (in fact, it was a problem with the SMES that the Chief Engineer should have known and fixed easily). I started working on it, and the surface level started to recover power as I did so, but the Chief Engineer started pushing me around while yelling me to ''stop touching RCON'', although he had not been able to fix it on his own. Then he ordered me to fix the airlock of Xenobiology. I told him that we had a cyborg (who is much better when coming to fix a door with the risk of slimes being a problem). I told him that I would go once I had finished fixing power, since, clearly, he wasn't able to do it. He kept pushing me around and flashed me, then he called security. I did nothing to him, I didn't attack or push him, I turned on my meson scanner so he couldn't blind me, and I kept trying to work. When he saw that, he grabbed me by the neck instead of waiting for security and dragged me out while holding my neck. Finally, he suspended me and ordered security to charge me with i111 (Failure to execute an order). Did you report it to a Head of Department or IAA? If so, who?: The offender is the Head of my Department, there was no IAA at the moment, and the only other head was the Head of Security. Actions taken: I was suspended and charged with i111. Additional Notes: I attach the suspension form and the Security Incident report. Note that, in the Suspension form, one of the reasons is: Tampering with the powergrid, although this is one of the Station Engineer's job, and, in fact, I was able to fix the power problem before I was suspended. I also request to review the Engineering Hallway security camera recording, since the assault was clearly recorded. Suspension Form: Security Incident Report:
  6. I did not start the fight at all, if you check the logs, the assistant broke two reinforced glases and a grille to fight me...
  7. I did not know that this had been handled already. Should I delete it or?
  8. BYOND Key: TheOrleans Game ID: bWD-dALM Player Byond Key: Capesh Staff involved: Evandorf Reason for complaint: The AI, Capesh, as Arlo, metagamed during all my Changeling round. Just because my monkey shape(due to a bug, or due to someone not thinking about it) kept my name, just tracked me and stated it was me during the whole round, saying something aboud ''bioinfo''... how could the AI know, if I, as monkey, never had sensors or... anything, the AI had no way to conclude it was me, but just tracked me and stated it during the whole round. It was such a huge metagame... Proofs Security telling me it was the AI the one who told them I was the monkey: https://i.gyazo.com/c2e88354b659cd209d1b5857786a8736.png https://i.gyazo.com/06f2dab875d7579520b4f4ec8ce272e5.png So, it's obvious that is not possible to link a monkey with no clothes, with nothing to get ''biometric'' data with someone else. Did you attempt to adminhelp the issue at the time? If so, what was the known action taken by administration/moderation? Yes. Evandorf was quite alone at that moment (I think) and he handled it as best as he could, but missunderstood me and well, couldn't do much. Approximate Date/Time: 03/10/2018 around 2-3 AM (CEST)
  9. I would like to remark something In fact, I opened this because I think that I didn't do it that bad, and I don't want to have warnings, I consider myself a good player, and I know that notes or warnings stack.. and I don't want to be one of "those" players. Anyways, if this ends clearly showing that I did it quite wrong, at least I will learn something from this My intention is not to attack the Moderator involved or anything. I just wanted to remark that
  10. BYOND Key: TheOrleans Staff BYOND Key: TrickingTrapster Game ID: bWw-dzkr Reason for complaint: I was given a warning after something I think I didn't do wrong. I'll explain: First, the context I joined the round and went to my Workshop (as Roboticist) and due to a shocked door I lost my hand (just think about the associated pain, the trauma... everything), and there was no one to blame for it (it was the AI I think). After I was healed, I came back and Willow Harper (Janitor) told me ''Lars if you don't shut the fuck up I will shut it for you.'' through the radio (I was complaining about the AI who shocked the door and made me lose my hand), after that I said: ''Harper, you useless Jainitor, you should come by and start sucking my dick'' So, after this happened, Harper just came and broke into my Workshop (broke two reinforced glasses and a grille to get in), I was making the replacement of my hand at that moment, I couldn't even replace my arm when she was already inside, and we started fighting until Observo (Research Director) came in to stop the fight. We were both quite close to death, but I could get up and I kept attacking her, and I killed her when I did that. I was warned because I killed her. TrickingTrapster literally said ''Why did you go for the kill, and not the incapacitate?''. Really? I was fighting with just one arm, still shocked, and I had to ''go for the incapacitation''? That wouldn't be logical at all, and of course, Harper was going for the kill too (I ended nearly dead and had to get a surgery with head trauma and everything) So, Harper clearly broke the escalation rules (being mean to someone is not a reason to break into a place like the Robotics workshop to beat the hell out of the person who was mean), and I got the warning for... defending myself (in that context) Additional remarks: I don't have pictures since I didn't think that a situation were another player broke the escalation could turn against me. Thank you
