Artificial Lifeform

Artificial Lifeform (34/37)

  1. I'm back! Computer issues meant that I didn't have my painting space for a while, but I've got everything sorted now, and now I have five Destroyers to act as escorts to the Heavy Destroyer.
  2. Six Skorpekh Destroyers and their Lord.
  3. First repainted vehicle.
  4. 10 warriors, and a few of the better models that haven't needed repainting yet. Probably won't repaint the stalker at all; or the Lord; but the Overlord will get a makeover at some point.
  5. I am in the process of rebuilding and repainting my entire Necron force. 361 models on that table; plus four vehicles thave have disappeared somewhere that I need to find. I'm going to try and paint some smaller models every thursday, and then a vehicle or large model every weekend. I've got 170 warriors to repaint, and 95 of them need rebasing as well. I'll post updates on here as things get done (in part to keep me doing it and not forgetting about it).
  6. Been a few years since I properly sat and painted things and followed all the rules; I'm glad I still remember them all.
  7. Partially. There's actually a short story thing to go alongside it, from back when I was far more dramatic, and reading it didn't cause me to want to bury myself. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1LKRN9tCzKw5jU0nzaL8yzC4kFHYlzMTOcQwaRvcXJnk/edit?usp=sharing It's 9 years old now, back from when my writing style and tastes were significantly worse. Rusty was the creator of the pantheon names and blurbs, and I created the short story. we were both old time members. I was about for it actually being made. If you read the thing Rusty wrote about me on the Pantheon thread, you'll also see a reference to my brother, Eragong, who was also around at that time; he's off being a forensic chemist now. I've still got the original lore document in my google drive as well, but that has actual names on, so I will refrain from linking it.
  8. I think I still have the original lore document somewhere, and a rather dramatic fictionalisation of Aurora's founding.
  9. Damn, how did I miss this thread? It's good to hear from you again, Chris. My condolences for your father, it hurts like a stab in the gut. I'm still lurking around, always a bit too busy to play, I'm a teacher now, which is interesting. For anyone who doesn't know me, I was either the first or second head developer, working under Tool, but I very quickly passed it over to Skull, who was far more competent in that area than I. I mostly worked in the lore team as the lead before Jack boot, and I helped set up CCIA. I was also a general admin for a little bit.
  10. Somewhat relevant; the Slimelings were intended to ring the same bells as the Protopet from Ratchet and Clank 2; so, that could add an interesting dynamic when they go nuts and devour everyone.
  11. Because the role of CCIA is hard enough due to player non-cooperation without pouring petrol on the fire.
