  1. You missed a couple questions and fields like putting your BYOND key.... And why you wish to play a race. Fill those in and I'll take another look.
  2. Right here we are. I've known Nebs for years now and quite honestly back on Apollo she got a lot of slack from a lot of people so I tended to criticise her a lot more. Back then Nebs would often ask my opinion, maybe because I gave more honest criticism idk. But Nebs is one of those roleplayers I'm glad I got the chance to roleplay with. While a pain in the ass( she's an engineer what do you expect) Lori Alvarez is a pretty good chief engineer, a bit soft on her team at times but still a pretty solid one. Nebs is responsible, a good Roleplayer and all round a sensible player +1. Last thing Nebs, you kinda dodged the how long question xD
  3. Oh PoZe one final thing, if the warden/sec/Crew don't have access to your implant then there's no point, you might as well just RP having one. So if you really want the chip in game, it'll need to be accessible by crew considering otherwise it's irrelevant.
  4. Thread moved to fitting area.
  5. I'm literally considering it
  6. Frances, when jobs override them they're supposed to give you a version of it, like you'll get prescription security glasses.
  7. If no one minds I'll be shoving this in the archives or mostly because it's a joke. It was funny at the time, but people are neglecting an actual whitelist update because of it.
  8. One thing Nebs, it is just a tracking implant. Not everyone will realise he has one. And if he just turned on his suit sensors it would be just as much an advantage. Not to mention it's a serious disadvantage. If he's an antag security can locate him with no problem. So I think it's pretty balanced.
  9. I'd still like it to be Apollo. A handful of people thinking of the server shouldn't mean anything, if anything most people will think of The Luna landing. But if people are really that bothered I can have it as Athena.

    Alcohol Rework

The alcohol should be a bit more realistic in terms of how quick you get drunk, but if that's the case, then we should increase the time you stay drunk.
  11. Jamison Stamos This one might come as a shocker due to the whole 'Stamos is a dick' stuff. And yes Stamos can be a dick, but he's one of the more memorable characters on station, he's immature and selfish. But these all stem from some major daddy issues and a very spoiled childhood. Stamos has slowly become to respect and trust Michael, and while Michael tries all he wants to despise that little lecher, he can't help but see him as almost a son. Michael has put his job on the line for Stamos multiple times. Anyway good job Mirk.
  12. It /should/ have an atmosphere, but I'm pretty sure it's a hostile atmosphere.
  13. Haha. Anyway I didn't specify it was Apollo-17(I wish it could be) but people would cry, so I'm fine with it just being a completely different station in the Sol Alliance.

    Alcohol Rework

Problem is Erik you used "Genetic manipulation" to defend another point, and Gollee did say that barely anyone has it. It's controlled and immensely expensive.
  15. I'm unsure but I didn't specify it was NSS Apollo, it's just a small Sol alliance space station I'm talking sbout.
  16. BYOND Key: MrImATool Character name: Liam Bernhaben ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Item name: Apollo Bomber Jacket Why is your character carrying said item to work?: Because he's had it since his first day of work on board Apollo. (Twenty years is a long time to work in one place, especially after that place is destroyed, it's a fond memory and he wouldn't let it leave his sight) Item function(s): Same as a normal jacket, two pockets(I'd be willing to have one to be fair.) Item description: An old an worn grey bomber jacket with a few words still able to made out 'Apollo Station Security' the rest is too worn to read. Item appearance: It'll be a bomber jacket that I'll sprite if it's accepted. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Item name: Apollo Holobadge Why is your character carrying said item to work?: Because he's had it since his first day of work on board Apollo. (Twenty years is a long time to work in one place, especially after that place is destroyed, it's a fond memory and he wouldn't let it leave his sight) Item function(s): Same as a normal holobadge Item description: An old holobadge with the letters 'S-S-A-S' embelished on the back. Item appearance: It'll look pretty similar to a normal holobadge with a few sytlised choices to make it seem retro(I'll sprite it if it get's accepted) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Additional comments: Thanks for taking the time to look at my app. I got the Silar one a bit confused, but I'm sure this one is miles better.
  17. I've known Napoleon for a long time, and yes I disliked him in some places but what the worst thing was, is I used to have a blast with him in medical on Apollo. He was my favourite doctor and the person I'd turn to for help in that field. I hate what's happened regarding you Nap and I really want you to be able to go back to the way you used to be, so yes I'll be +1'ing his app because it's good. Napoleon is a fantastic Roleplayer and one who has just, had a ton of bad luck, granted some of it is his fault but the majority of it isn't. I furvently believe you won't let us down Napoleon.
  18. The Russian stuff! Ushankas and the such
  19. I know that tasers can't recharge in the middle of conflict, /but/ because of the rechargers, tasers have infinite rounds as long as there's power. If an officer runs out of bullets he can't get anymore without asking someone else, and this'll lead to the question "what did you do with your other mags?" Then the officer has to come up with a good enough excuse.
  20. Wasn't irellevant it was a suggestion I wanted to add on, granted it was a silly one. It was still on topic. And yeah starfish I think your suggestions actually have some merit rather ghosts being incredibly boring on cult rounds they get to have some fun.
  21. I suspect most officers will just carry 3-4 mags. This will make resupplies much less frequent, not more. You can't know that, we have no idea how many mags will be available. Officers might just be given one so if they want more they'll need to tell their HoS/ warden and explain what happened to all those rounds.m
  22. No ones mentioned this yet, but because firearms have a finite ammunition supply sec officers will be more likely to pick their shots wisely. Rather than just spraying and going to a recharge station. Granted it'll mean that officers can just reload if they have the mags, but when they run out, fun is surely to ensue.
  23. Yeah it did used to work like this, my first round as a sec officer ever was as a TG cargo sec guard and it made for some real interesting RP. Rather than say the cargo tech breaking something being handled by everyone and their dog it was handled by the cargo officer, usually quite quickly because they'd be there and could witness it. It's really enjoyable, especially for security who are often hated, to be able to interact with other people. Where the QM's office is now is where the old sec one used to be.
  24. Thank you for addressing my concerns, deleting uncessary comments
