I actually quite like this. It's something that doesn't require that I conjure up an entirely new star system to stick in the ass end of space to accommodate it. Even before the KISS edit. It also doesn't assume that billions of people follow it automatically because of reasons. I really don't see a reason to go invisible all the time. From what I've seen, most of the new people have been relatively competent in their RP. Also, considering we've banned more than a quarter of BYOND's total population, I'd say that most of the baldies and outright griefers have been removed from the equation. The only ones left to weed out are the ones dedicated to refusing to learn what heavy RP means, and the line-toers.

You are an administrator of a heavy role play server. As in realistic. Allow me to chime in here, as a former modmin. No. That heavy roleplay label means you're here to do one thing. Roleplay. Roleplay always, always trumps realism here. It doesn't matter if your character is a cliche run-of-the-mill no-nonsense gruff ex-mercenary special ops agent that routinely stomps puppies and throws kittens at walls. If you run in and decide to gank, even if it's what your character would do, there will be consequences. Think of it this way. People play this game to have fun. The people here have fun by roleplaying. Roleplaying usually ends up taking hours. By running in and blowing someone's head off without any roleplay, you're basically wasting several hours of that person's life in one fell swoop. Would you like it if someone did that to you? Of course not. Getting your head blown off tends to put a damper on anyone's day.

Jesus, 1138, if you really want it, I could potentially make the solitary planet in the Centauri system somewhat habitable and possessing a colony. But inventing random planets in a system that's pretty hostile to life as we know it, and then making each and every one of them home to a cookie cutter stereotype where every single individual living on them is exactly the same in disposition and dogma is a no-no. EDIT: Nevermind, it turns out that Alpha Centauri Bb would just be an earth-sized ball of molten magma orbiting the largest and hottest star of a trinary system at an extremely close range of 0.04 astronomical units, nowhere near the habitable zone of any of them.

As the planet and systems guy, I've gone ahead and called the Centauris uninhabitable lorewise. Triple star systems tend not to be great harborers of life. They also tend not to have planets. Speaking of which, Jesus fucking christ, all those planets. Sol having 8 planets is a celestial anomaly, how do you expect to get 28 planets? Especially colonized planets? In real life, the system only has 1 planet, and it's completely uninhabitable.

The name makes it sound like it would be restricted to a single planet, not like it would be in the Alliance Senate.

Napoleon, there are too many instances to count where you've been a detriment to the quality of the RP of rounds. Not to mention that every time you got a whitelist it was revoked, and how your heads of staff are generally incompetent. Plus, disrespectful attitude and powergaming mentality. Simply convoluting the syntax of your application so that the language ends up periphrastic does nothing to prove that you deserve to be whitelisted again. -1 Also, comparing your 2d spaceman to the passengers of Flight 93 does nothing to improve your credibility in my eyes.

I really wish people would not ask for entire planets, and would instead turn to fleshing out currently existing systems. Also, remember that buy-ins do not garuntee addition to the lore.
