I've noticed that a lot of Tajaran characters, while refurrring to themselves in third person, also explain everyone else in third person. Should this be made standard? As it stands the third purrson deal is restricted to Tajara refurrring to themselves.

While I have not seen you on station, I like your backstory. A lot. Characters that are familiar with the conflict are exactly what we need in order to help people get stuck in with the lore, and this application looks like a great example of a character that does that! My only concern here is that while NanoTrasen holds a small bit of trade embassies in People's Republic occupied territories, the rest of Adhomai isn't as lucky. For most Liberation Army and New Kingdom citizens, the only way out is through illegitimate migration by hiding in someone's space car trunk all the way to New Gibson. Your character, an Njrarir'Akhran, would have a hard time getting a job in a PRA city, NanoTrasen or not. Just something for consideration, if you want to either decide something more desperate occurred to get her a job that wasn't on Adhomai, or if you want to play it like she just got lucky. Either way the rest is great!

Your description of how you plan to play your character when things get hostile is one of the best I've seen so far. Obedient, and sneaky with her dissidence when some does arise. This is exactly what we need more of. Your backstory includes the minimum of "war is hell" that I ask for in taj apps, so if no one's got anything crazy to say about how you're evil and eat babies, this application is accepted. Please bear in mind, however, that I unfortunately have no wifi and I can't process this whitelist myself. I'll try to get someone else to do it so that you don't have to wait too long. I want to post and ask where we plan on drawing the line. It's clear that Chaz and the mates didn't actually mean to demand for Lucychan to kill himself, otherwise they wouldn't have abbreviated it into a stupid joke term. That said, they still did say "you should kys" as bait, and people can get buttmad from this - something that's perfectly understandable, as it does mean kill yourself, sarcastic or not. I wouldn't digest it as anything other than bait, though. Coming from Chaz and Lemon, I can assure you they meant it entirely sarcastically. Kys IS a very ironically used term adopted from LeafyIsHere's spamming subscriber base. I'd rather not be facing a week long ban in the future for saying "Ur fat xd" to someone in OOC, and I hope we don't use this post as a way to TIGHTEN OOC rules. Chaz and Lemon were right on the border of 'don't be a dick' and tbh they did go overboard in telling Lucychan to personally 'kys'. Because of that I understand the ban, but I don't think this is a good example of why we need to restrict OOC further. The guys got punished, no harm done, they can come back in a week, no one died in real life, especially by suicide, and no one left the server; this is not a black day in the server's history. Instead of forcing more restrictive OOC rules in the future, why don't the admins just do their job and mute OOC in the future and PM the players involved asking them to maybe not be so abrasive? If they refuse, just mute them from OOC personally. It's worked for me, and I was admin on one of the spammiest piece of shit servers to ever exist.

BYOND Key: Hivefleetchicken Player Byond Key: UnknownMurder Staff involved: Pretty much all staff on at the time, Kaedwulf gave the punishment of a one week antag ban. Reason for complaint: On a merc round, UnknownMurder, playing ZERO, tossed a pressure bomb right up against the firelocks escape as the shuttle docked. On the other side of the airlocks was around 16 players, some SSD. The result crashed the server, and killed 14 of those players, seen here: I hate to yell at anyone for killing people because usually it's just people mad about dying, but this is some serious industrial strength grief. There was zero interaction between the merc and anyone in escape and nothing was gained from this. It served no purpose other than to kill players who were getting on the shuttle. The mere week long antag ban given to UnknownMurder for this, in my opinion, is horseshit, since people have been permanently banned from Aurora for less, and given server bans for much less. An antag ban that only lasts a week isn't going to cut it. I think a more severe punishment is required. Once again I hate to yell at people for killing because death is usually an important part of the game (some people gotta' die to make the others feel like survivors) but this is just an attempt to kill everyone trying to escape. People need to stop getting pissed off in OOC about the dumbest stuff. Don't let a group of whiners scare you off. You're not the only one who's upset and concerned by this recent influx and I don't want you to feel like everything's changed but you. (i never even got to hold your hand yet ICly what is this torture)
