Take out the circular saw and drill and they won't be able to do organ repairs and brain surgery themselves, but will be able to handle fractures and embedded bullets. Maybe a rollerbed instead of an all-up surgery table. I rarely ever play Nuke Ops, but I would rather it if they had a fully stocked table. I remember a nuke round that happened yesterday I was the Captain and was taken captive and brought to the shuttle. They wanted to take the Loyalty implant out of my head and (I don't remember exactly) have me do something. But since we would have had to go back to the station to have it done it wasn't able to be done. I am not sure how much that really mattered but I feel like the Nuke Ops shuttle should be very stocked to help them do things that they wouldn't normally do. Just my take on it.

you might want to add that name in your application, so people can see it easily Yeah, just edit your first post.

This is a better solution, because most of the time the mutineers don't even need the use the device at the vault to have a victory. Yep, I have lost a few times to that. Probably more times to that than anything else. I would highly support getting rid of the minor victory. Because really all that it is saying is that chaos broke out because of the mutineers so they needed to evacuate.

Elyra News Network “For Greatness, We Strive” New Trade Fleet 12.22.2457 New Trade Fleet The Shipyards on Persepolis have finally created enough trade ships in order to create a new fleet to trade with the nearby systems. Projected profits are extremely high and suspected to give the economy the boost it has been looking for for years now. The trade fleet is scheduled to launch on Wednesday. Drug Control On The Rise During the past week there have been many raids on homes in the residential districts of Edirne. The Edirne government claims that they were related to the leaking of the planet’s many drug dealers. An ENN reporter interviewed a local police chief and he said this, “Listen, I understand that the civilians are getting worried about us raiding those houses. But look at this.” He said as he held up a bag of what we can assume are drugs of some sort. “These… These are what we were getting from those houses. These things right here pose a huge threat to the youth of Elyra as it is cheap and the dealers tell of good things coming from it. That is why we did those raids.” The Chief continued to say how those raids should be the last of them for a good amount of time. He also wanted us to say that citizens shouldn’t be worrying as they have want the best for Elyra. Tensions Are Still High Tensions are still high on Persepolis and Medina. The authorities have recently put more pressure on any of the protesters and have coordinated many more patrols through the less developed areas of those planets. People are becoming worried as they fear that things aren’t going to be changing anytime soon. Miscellaneous ads litter the rest of the article

Name of party: The Tau Ceti Jingoist Party Candidate for President in the upcoming election: Aurelia Dimitru Brief description of the candidate: Aurelia Dimitru was born and raised on Mendell City on Biesel. Dimitru is now 65 years old and has been working in the political field all of her life. She is has seen much success on the minor levels and now is running for president in order to straighten out the Republic’s currents status and grow their strength. Who are the party's biggest financial backers?: Privately owned human companies along with many donations from wealthy Humans. What is its opinion on Nanotrasen's level of influence in Tau Ceti?: They are approving of Nanotrasen at this moment of time as they can both help each other gain more power. Who knows what the future holds with that though. How does the party view the non-human minorities? (Unathi, Tajaran, synthetics): The party views all the other races as inferior to Humans and believe they shouldn’t live on the same planets as them. They do not believe that the alien races are equal to Humans at all. Is the party friendly to the Sol Alliance?: No, they want to cut all ties with the Sol Alliance and build up a larger military in order to control the surrounding area. What other information about the party do you want to include?: The Tau Ceti Jingoist Party are focused on creating a stronger and better maintained military in order to stop any threats that any of the Alien races may pose. They are not publicly hating the Sol Alliance too much but they only plan to be friendly as long as they have to. Once they gain enough power they will hope to take other systems from the Sol Alliance because they do not approve of the peaceful ways of the Sol Alliance or Biesel. They believe that in order for the Human species to survive as a whole they need to be more aggressive.

I agree with that too, I remember making a comment about that during a Nuke Ops round earlier today.

Alright, I will make sure to keep an eye out for that name then.

Elyra News Network “For Greatness, We Strive” Was It An Accident? 12.21.2457 Was It An Accident? After the fire from the power plant on Bursa finally settled, local authorities were able to find enough evidence near the area of where the fire started to suspect that the explosion was indeed, not an accident. So far there are no leads as to who caused the explosion but it was linked to a gas leak somewhere in the complex. There are still forensic units on the scene trying to piece together whatever they find. Our reporters have been told that the investigation process may take quite a long time. Update On The Bill Recent polls suggest that the bill that has been proposed in High Parliament a few days ago is strongly opposed by many of the votes so far. It is still early so we may see change sometime soon. But for now it looks like it will fail. Preparation For The Holiday Season Holiday sales are predicted to be at an all time high this season. Sales have been climbing over the years as the push to move away from the religious connotation to a more festive time of year that is mostly for people to buy things for a cheaper price. This year is predicted to be an all time high because of the massive increase in our economy over the past year, “More money to spend on cheaper things that benefit us all. What is there not to like?” Said a toy corporation’s president earlier. Minor uninteresting ads continue down the rest of the page

Well, I think it should be that the Revolution Heads can coordinate with each other in a sure way, but any of the other Mutineers are unable to know who is part of the revolution or not.
-
Yeah, that would be a really cool thing to add. At the moment I am pretty sure that the only thing that is about Atlas on the forums right now is just telling us how many seats it has in the Sol Alliance. So yeah, that would be something I would like.
-
Hmm... I don't really know your roleplay ability as you always have a random character. Because of that I am not sure if I would be able to +1 or -1 you. I have a suggestion that may get your more support. I think you should just create a single character and put his name on your list so we have a character to judge your roleplay off of. But until I can see how well you can handle yourself, I am going to not give this application a vote.

I honestly don't get why we have three different gamemodes that basically all are gamemodes where people revolt. But anyways I think removing the markers for the people who aren't head revs would be good.
-
I still would rather it be a handheld thing and can fit in your pocket. I like the whole idea of it being destroyed by an EMP. Volume, I would rather it work like whispers do. The encryption key seems like something that would be too hard for people to realize that you have a machine. I would want it to be noticeable if not rather obvious. I like the idea of it being able to be removed from a person easily so there is a good way to counter them.
-
Yeah, that would be a good thing. I think it would probably add more to the rounds instead of make the people angry at the Captain and then call the shuttle right after.

Elyra News Network “For Greatness, We Strive” An Uproar Among the Masses 12.20.2457 An Uproar Among the Masses Ever since Prime Minister Tatenda gave his speech yesterday afternoon there has been waves of backlash coming from the rural areas of Medina and Persepolis, while tensions are still high between the Elyran citizens in the cities and the Elyran citizens in the outlying towns and villages things seem to be cooling off since Minister of Diplomatic Affairs, Andile Nabil released an article saying that all of the uproar was for nothing and that the Prime Minister is not trying to punish the rural dwellers, Nabil said that it was a misunderstanding and Minister Tatenda is truly trying to do what is best for Elyra and her people. An ENN reporter had the chance to interview Nabil only getting this from them, “No, it isn’t that… It isn’t that we are trying to take away the people’s religion. It is that we are trying to teach the people to be more accepting to each other’s beliefs. There really is no reason for the uproar, we are all Elyran here aren’t we?” Small Skirmish Against Nanotrasen Just a little while ago, Daniyah Latifah, Minister of the Navy announced the outcomes of a small skirmish on the Republic’s outskirts. The Minister’s report said that Elyran Military Vessels harassed a small group of Nanotrasen trade ships that called in support from a NMV in the area, the outcome of the skirmish was a victory on our part. Minister Latifah had no comments when we attempted to interview them about our relations with Nanotrasen. Inferno on Bursa Just this morning, there was an explosion of a power plant on Bursa, many casualties have been reported and even more injured. The local fire squads have spent all morning trying to calm the blaze. Authorities will most likely not be able to investigate the cause of the blast until later tonight or early tomorrow. The rest of the article is uninteresting news about celebrities and ads about household items.

Elyra News Network “For Greatness, We Strive” Call For Tolerance? 12.19.2457 Call For Tolerance? After the recent burst of violence between religious groups on Persepolis, Prime Minister, Rasheed Tatenda had a live speech at 12:00 PM today. During the speech he said, “Even though the progress that we, people of Elyra have made towards completer religious tolerance, the smaller towns outside our beautiful cities have not yet taken to the ways of peace and tolerance. They still squabble about who it is they worship and how they worship them. As I am sure you are all aware, these bickerings have been going on since before we even founded this Serene Republic, but we have let them continue nevertheless as they were causing little harm. But things have changed. On December 18, 2457, riots broke out across the rural regions of Persepolis. Luckily few were wounded as authorities put a stop to it right away. But this… This is something that can lead us to collapse on ourselves. So I ask you, dear Elyran, put aside your differences so we can focus our power on making our nation greater than it has ever been.” The reporter carries on speaking after showing the recording of Prime Minister: Rasheed Tatenda giving his speech. High Parliament Action The High Parliament is said to be in the foreseeable future, voting on having religious tolerance and Secularism be a mandatory thing taught in areas where there is high religious tolerance. The bill has been sent up through the planetary parliaments on most of the Elyran planets. Many hope for it to be passed. More on that in the coming weeks. The rest of the page is just useless information about the economy and local events.

Yeah, but I'm not exactly comfortable with that, given that the more beneficial implants are way harder to counter and it seems to unintentionally pave the way for cybernetics. Sonic imprinter sensors are intended to be just like any other utility device you can carry that have vulnerabilities of their own. They could be EMP'd (in which they would literally asplode harmlessly, but you lose an sonic imprinter sensor), they could be stolen/mugged from their carrier. And so on. Once you lose that utility, you'd be hard-pressed to get it replaced. Xeno antagonists in particular would need to be very careful about their words in present company. And Skull, the name is actually just a reference to the device in KOTOR2, in which it's not only stylized as a device that can record and playback voices, it would also double as a xeno translator. Which was the protagonist's excuse for being able to converse with all of the aliens that do not speak Basic by default. Alright, I am liking this the most right now. I was thinking that it would be small enough to fit in your pocket and it would be hard to detect unless someone is right next to you and can hear the machine telling you what the other species were saying. But honestly I think that any version of this idea would be a cool one so you can understand what other races are saying now.

I know this is off topic about what everyone was talking about, but I was thinking about fleshing out the frontier factions and giving them more substance. I know of the Eridani Federation and the Republic of Elrya but I was wondering if there are any more small factions like that. I am not really sure where I am going with this but I would just find it cool to have things like those fleshed out.

I have seen Rafee around for a while now. He doesn't seem like a too over the top character at least from what I can tell. But yes what SilverTalisman said, you backstory seems very short to what I feel would be enough for a whitelist. Once you get that fixed you will get a +1 from me.

AEWorthy's Head of Staff Whitelist Application
Owen replied to AEWorthy's topic in Whitelist Applications Archives
I do not believe that I have played with any of their characters but the Application is well written, I feel like they would be alright to try out a Head of Staff whitelist. +1 for now. Good luck! -

Cobracoco007 Dionea Application V1
Owen replied to cobracoco007's topic in Whitelist Applications Archives
From what I can tell when I have RPd with Cobracoco's characters is that he knows what is going on and how to act. His characters are nicely designed, I would feel comfortable if he got the Dionae whitelist. Also the more walking trees the better +1 from me -
They are an amazing roleplayer and I have had great experiences with many of their characters. I feel like they will fit just fine having a Vaurca whitelist. +1 from me!

I checked out the Dionae lore page again and it you seemed to have fixed all of the issues that people brought up. I like the new Dionae lore and I feel like we are going to be getting some more interesting characters now.
