I really don't know, I have never really had a good roleplay experience with Botanist. Most if not all of my interactions with his characters have left me with a sour taste in my mouth. Don't get me wrong though, your Tajara's backstory is unique and I have nothing against it. I am just worried on how well you would be able to play as a Tajara. For now, I am going to go with a -1 EDIT: Not choosing to vote on this instead.

Alright, it is about time I come back to this. I have seen your character in game a few times now. I am hesitant to give you a +1 but, your backstory looks like you put more than 5 minutes of thought into it and your character doesn't seem too bad. I am sure you would be fine in a Head of Staff position with the exception that your character isn't too much of an asshole that he wouldn't be hired. +1 for now.

I have seen you in game earlier today and, from what I can tell you have a fairly reasonable character. Your application is well written and it looks like you understand the Vaurca lore. +1 from me. Good luck!

I have roleplayed with Dumplinz in the past. As far as I can remember there was nothing TOO unreasonable coming from his roleplay. I feel he would be more than capable of holding a Head of Staff position. +1 from me.

You know, now that I think of it, that has happened to me as well. But it oddly enough only happened when the Vox pinned me to the wall and then when I was trying to call for help it ended up with me yelling out to them. I was confused at the time but didn't think too much of it. It could however, be broken in someway. But yeah, I really like this idea of not being able to talk into a radio if something like that happens.

This seems like an interesting idea, I am liking it. I am not seeing anything that conflicts with the current Tajaran lore. Also, it looks like some good roleplay could come from this if it is accepted. It seems like one of those hopeless groups that want to go back to the olden days before Nanotrasen gets involved. I would like to see something like this get added.

Yeah, that would be fine, as long as you wouldn't be so insane that Nanotrasen wouldn't even hire you.

I mean, it is possible that it could be a thing, but, it would be far from powerful as I am sure that it generally is not very well accepted to be against humans from different backgrounds. Honestly, it seems more plausible for you to make a character like you described to be solely against other alien species. But then again, that is my take on it and I am not part of the lore team.

Since the start of the new year, Minister Nabil has been meeting with the Nanotrasen Board of Directors searching for a solution to their differences. Reports say that the meetings have been going well and tensions between the two factions seem to be lowering. These series of meetings have been agreed upon by both parties in hopes of establishing a better trade network in the system. At this time however, Elyra is not too keen on letting Nanotrasen into their systems. Potentially the two factions may come to an agreement to cease hostilities with each other. Nabil has said that he will do he best to mend relations but, he will not forget the things that have occurred between Nanotrasen and us. More on this interesting topic soon. Mining Back on Track The breaches that appeared on the mining complex that is currently under construction off of Persepolis have been fully fixed. Construction is back on track and small sections of the complex are becoming operational enough to actually start sending employees to mine Plasma. Once the mining gets running on a full scale profits are expected to be humongous. History Museum Opened This morning, the Elyran History Museum that has been under construction inside Persepolis’ Capital City. Much of the museum is focussing on the early days of the Republic and the road to independence from Sol. One of the main museum funders commented, “I have always been intrigued with the history of us. As I have learned about how we became who we are, it made me realize that there is no reason for all of us to discriminate against other Elyrans. I was hoping that if enough people went to this museum and learned what I have, Elyra will be changed for the better.” Minister Tatenda himself, has visited the museum saying that it is a great boost to our national pride. Rise In Immigration Over the past month, there has been a steady rise in immigrants from the nearby factions moving to Medina and Persepolis. The newly arrived peoples have been settling in nicely. It most definitely has benefited the planets.

This sums it up. You do what you're told, to the death. Imagine ants or bees. They do their duty without any sort of care, defending the hive if ordered to, suchlike. When a queen abt dies, the ants usually continue carrying out the last 'command' they were given until they starve to death, or lose all sort of purpose and wander aimlessly. Take examples: A) Superior says, "Go into this airless room and stay there." As you know it's airless, and haven't been told not to, you put your internals on so you can live to serve your superior whilst inside. B) Superior says, "Go into this room and stay there without internals." Your superior has told you not to use internals, so you obey your superior, walk in, and happily suffocate to death. C) Superior says, "Do what the fuck you want, prawn." You stand around aimlessly until someone gives you something to do. You have no free will, you exist to serve. Imagine: Cyborgs, but without free thought. That is actually a really cool way to think of bound Vaurca. It almost makes me want to actually want to play as one.

I am thinking that he is asking about Super Facists that are admiring the Nazi group? I don't really feel like Space Nazis should be a thing though. And what Canon said, the closest you will get to Space Nazis is ATLAS which is a human group the feels that Humans are superior to all other species.

I was the Captain this round. Now, this round was a very bad round for Security in general. There were lots of things that happened that made it turn out with the demotions of Security members. I do not feel whatsoever that any OOCly punishment should be taken as it was basically finished up ICly with the detainment and demotion of Josen Keelin and the demotion to be of Marc Price.

Ahh yes, I was the CCIA during that round and she did indeed make burned food and poison food as a Security Officer who hopped the counter. She was slightly dealt with in IC. (Basically me throwing her out and having her demoted) One of the VIPs were sent to Medbay because they became sick.

The hostages are said to be safe and back with their families at this point in time. The men who took the hostages are said it be detained and questioning will begin soon. Beginning Of A New Year As the people of Elyra also follow the calendar that is based off the Sol System, the people are celebrating the turn into a new year, 2458. Many people have said and still believe that 2457 was not our best year and hope to make 2458 a better one. We will see how things turn out. Mining Accident As the workers were constructing the mining base on the asteroids off of Persepolis, a rogue rock crashed into the living areas for the workers causing mass venting of the complex. Reports say that there have been mass casualties. Relief efforts have been started in order to evacuate the areas affected by the venting. Progress should continue after the breach is fixed.

I have not seen you in game before but I want to say this, heads of staff have to be a minimum of 30 years old. I could get you the link for the occupation qualifications but I don't have my computer right now. Also, what head role were you planning on playing for this character?

Elyra News Network “For Greatness, We Strive” Hostage Crisis 12.29.2457 Hostage Crisis During the riots that happened outside of the Parliament building on Persepolis a few days ago, a group of terrorists broke into the building and kidnapped four of the members that were there. Negotiation attempts have been made with the terrorists to bring back the people unharmed and as soon as possible. The authorities have yet to release the names of those kidnapped and we have little information besides this. Demands are said to be very high and we hope that they will be able to be met. More updates soon. Tensions Lowers Tensions on Medina, Bursa and Edirne have all reached an all time low. No one is able to really figure out why it has happened but there is a noticeable change in the public attitude. Things have all gone back to business as usual. Let us all hope that this continues for quite a long time. The rest of the article is about the construction on the Plasma deposits and updates on Persepolis' tensions.

Re: Axe murder: It wasn't literal axe murder, he used an arm blade out in a public hallway. Also yes, I was present when Rin chased you around with a stun baton. By then I'd kind of decided to keep my head down and sort it out at Odin, particularly with the AI going ballistic. Alright, that probably was a good choice keeping your head down honestly. Thanks for clarifying that.

Either way, the situation was rectified, and those who instigated the revolt were detained. I was just making it known.
