Yes, some of these are as silly as Alb giving me a .01 minute ban for 'bant', renamed items with character name in it, or "Their medical intern/legion nerd Zane Miller has been cleared for action. Godspeed weekend warrior!" Even then, most of them are pre-2019, the warning of the Vamp gimmick was because the player I was trying to get blood from mentioned it, and I thought it would be acceptable to roll with it as a defense. I did try to explain this in the Ahelp and have since made sure to not repeat this. The most recent note in the past year was going afk as a physician watching sensors. And then the warning of Read for the complaint. Was through my actions/wording/phrasing could/did paint Goolies in a negative light where I should not have. I've never, even on my worst days, have wanted to bring harm to this community. I do love playing here and have worked hard to make sure I was in within the rules and believable RP at all times after pushing past my ancient mistakes and shortcomings. I was not sure the way to create a confidential complaint, and even asked that it be moved to such, but was informed by @ReadThisNamePlz "Its being discussed You already made the complaint public So it's kinda pointless to make it private now"

Apologies for the delay. I'll start with the rule that I believe is being applied against me 'ERP, also known as Erotic RolePlay, is not allowed on the server. While displays of romantic affection and romantic scenes are acceptable, scenes of a clearly sexual intent will be broken up. (Again, use common sense for this. Sexual tension up to a point is acceptable - sexual acts in themselves are not.)' Breaking up a non-erotic scene by a full community-ban is heavy-handed at best, when any communication would have corrected this. I don't have the cleanest history, but I do have a history of not slipping after being corrected. I do believe at worst, this should have been a ban from the relay if it's believed I misused the space. I, like everyone else here, am here to have an enjoyable time with other roleplayers in the universe that has been painstaking crafted with any number of differing characters. I do not have a history of OOCly or ICly of being disingenuous and of apologizing when I'm informed I wronged someone, staff punishment or not. Worst case, if we decide to take these words in a sexual context. Following the server's ERP rule, It is still within said rule. Nothing was done, nothing "truly erotic" was written. Permanent Ban: Permanent bans are issued in two general cases. First, to force communication with staff regarding an issue which was left unresolved, usually due to the player logging out mid-discussion. Second, as a final attempt to curb a player's behaviour, following warnings and temporary bans. I haven't been warned/banned for this behavior. If it's as problematic as you claim, why did staff not reach out to me to attempt to halt this behavior? Why did people watching the scene play out not use the Ahelp system? And/or why have people either ghost or also in scenes with me (staff or otherwise) not attempt to ahelp/correct this? I do think Gilt actually hits what I was going to mention in response to this.

I appreciate it Avery, I would like clarification if this is the staff team's greatest concerns on this matter. Secondly, if at all possible I would like access to the logs of the channel, if it hasn't been deleted yet, I truly believe a lot of the context around these post has been lost by snipping in this manner. Now I want to start by saying if this concern had been brought to my attention of 'Hey whats going on here' or an ask for clarification I would have provided, because I believe the scene[s] in question are being misunderstood and used without their full context and also my own writing errors/lack-of(or less than normal) proof-reading adding to this problem. It is not uncommon to see me rapidly edit my posts again and again as to get the correct meaning across. I attempted to reach out to matt almost instantly- just wanted to know the why to it, but I was unable too, because I was blocked. I then had to turn to @ReadThisNamePlz for explanation/reasoning. From what I was provided I don't see the issue, otherwise I wouldn't have done the RP in the first place. I am sorry if my actions/text could be taken this way- I honestly try to RP Marcus as someone who just tries to find people and make friends. And this happens with many characters. I generally don't actually like to respond to my friends apps, because it always feels like my feedback, unless it's negative, will come off as disingenuous. Gilt is a good roleplayer and thinks about their characters pretty heavily. Sometimes they have slipped up, but I do genuinely think it's not for the sake of fragging, but just- bad timing and taking antag assistance too far. She does push the line for believability at times due to this, but i think a trial will forge the imperfections out. It could also show us that maybe command just isn't right for Gilt, we'll only know by trying. +1 Let em have a shot.

Yeah, I worked on it a bit, there is still a good bit of text, but I've tried to paint the picture more and not be overly 'MAKE ART IN MIND' So thanks for pointing that out. The thread in PR in question is just removing the gamemode from the secret rotation. It'll only see a rework if ideas are given for such. It could still be voted for

Changling has lead to some good rounds in the past, I'm sure. Yet, none of which I can actually recall. I can recall merc rounds where they've made my character into a war criminal and he krills. But most changling rounds are: get stunned injected ---> They apologize and try to be believable that they don't want to do this, but have too or go 'FEED, I NEED TO FEED RA RA RA RA RA' ---> You get absorbed and try to assist them to RP as you? (Which so rarely happens) Or they murder you and you are just done. More often than not, the RP level is close to 0 which is odd for a gamemode for a HRP server. Now, some changlings are very top tier, and they rock it hard. But most often it is "I AM ALIEN LIFEFORM, RA RA RA RA RA, I WILL KILL AND EAT YOU RA RA RA RA RA" There's not really anymore depth than that, which is my biggest issue with it. Honestly just feels like an excuse to go fragging- which there are servers for that. I play on aurora because I want to engage with a story and arguably blind, mindless murder is not story 9 times out of 10 Most of the time I leave changling rounds with a 'well, that felt like a waste of my time' which I never want to leave a round like that (By leave, I mean making it to the end or when I am krilled). It's just so low effort. Maybe adjusting the changeling death state? Making regening take more time? Maybe sacrificing something when they heal? Or pushing to add 'storyboards' that appear in a verb for antags, like a rotating batch of 'ideas' they can see and go 'Yeah, I could base this off an infectious disease- Lets draft up some stuff and go' As for now though, taking it out of the secret rotation sounds alright with me.

Meep has done some things that has caused an eyebrow raise from time to time, but nothing that makes me think they don't deserve the role. They handle antags pretty well and work to assist their gimmicks. They got my vote +1

Well Si'akh is a bunch of honorless, hornless crazy Sinta that believe Juzida Si'akh is some savior? The wasteland exists, how can he be a savior? Th'akh are alright, they just don't understand how all are pooled together. It's also odd how an item can hold a soul? But to each their own. They aren't those savages. When it comes to Aut'akh, 'Why are they maiming themsssselvesssss?' It's a bit less than his view of Si'akh. But it is also just generally 'you're all crazy.' Zenta Sa'ul'aka'er Many human cultures can often justify breaking a pact, if it benefit them/save them/save others/assist others/etc. etc. However, an Unathi would be less forgiving. They (being the oath breaker) would likely be treated like a Guwan, dishonorable and such by Passionate/Traditional Unathi. 'A warrior word is his bond' If there is anything else, please let me know!

He would consider himself a devout Sk'akh, holding to the ancestors. Wandering the wasteland for many years left him time to reflect on the Great Spirit and how his ancestors must be watching from the fold, judging him. I think he would be like Peter from the Bible with Gentiles and Jews. He would understand the struggles, if not even sup with them free food after all. But around any unathi, play it up that he was bullying them. Survivor needs to survive. He finds them generally odd. Their customs are not his own - and he can not share.his with them? They're similar or different- Or in whole just left field. He doesn't like it, as part of survival is knowing patterns and how to deal with situations. How do you deal with a Biesellite or DPRA Tajara? This will a challenge for him, for sure. His original clan was very pro-hegemony and that was the side he fought for. He didn't really hold any extreme thoughts one way or the other - honestly. He served because his Father and family did. If he did have to pick, he is currently pro-hegemony. Comparing what Moghes to what it use to be? It's upsetting, but perhaps it was required. A world they had, full of life is now an toxic wasteland that they STILL must fight over. Oh, rip to the name then. And easy enough change. I didn't really have an idea to what the clanname would be, or the size of the clan in charge of the Queendom, so I wasn't really sure. Is there a certain naming scheme to follow when making one? Or just as long as it sounds lizardy? Thanks so much for your questions let me know if you need anything else!

It's a lot to go over, but it's all very interesting! I really liked the Queendom of Szek'Hakh in how it's a flip/reversal of the 'traditional' view on unathi and how they live. Also the Guwandi, antags have used it in a gimmick before- but I had no idea why this Unathi wanted to deal while it broke my skull. Now it makes a bit more sense. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question. Why do you wish to play this specific race: Unathi have almost always been an interest to me, one way or another. As an outsider looking in, it was hard to understand from an OOC perspective looking at the IC interactions. So in part, this is to allow myself to slip into the scale-suit and better figure out what makes Unathi tick. Though, the wiki is already helping me greatly in answering questions. I also would think it would be fun to play an unathi due to their arguably warped ideas on honor and tradition. I do think I could make a rather fun Unathi and have fun playing them too. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: (One Paragraph minimum) Well unlike many other species, there is a very clear way that generally all unathi societies function under- Ignoring Domianians and the Queendom. Where as with humans, skrell, tajara, and even diona, there is flavor from where they come from and how they interact with their homeworld. It can be rather easy to make those characters in their simplest form 'Scream about how Sol/Imp/CoC/IPC/Skrells/Diona/Lack Of Light is bad'. It's a joke, of course, but we often see this happen among mainly human characters. They become the emotional personality. I want to RP the species that is more reserved, that still has it's own issues, but attempt to shine them in a different light. To be more than just 'reskined' or I guess 'rescaled' in this case humans. Character Name: Zenta Sa'ul'aka'er Please provide a short backstory for this character: Zenta was born before the Contact War in the year of 2430, to his parents- Yulian Szal'Ha'Nor and Dezinka Szal'Ha'Nor (subject to change). Raised to the Warrior Code, Zenta dreamed of the day he too- would be just that. A Warrior. He trained hard to follow the lessons, and not a day went by that the thoughts of honor and pride did allure him. However, when it came time to truly test his steel, to challenge his heart, and to make the ancestors proud... He fould his back turned and his feet running. The calls of 'Guwan' chasing him into the war torn desert as the bombs kept falling... Surviving the desert was almost impossible, bouncing from war torn village to surviving stronghold. Keeping his neck shown and his mouth quiet, doing all that he could- short of true criminality- to survive. That is when he found himself wandering the lands of the Queendom, the Contact War drawn into a close with the final winner on top, and the rest fighting for scraps... He did what he could to impress and gain compassion from the women, mainly in truth, the guards of Gzusz. As a Guwan, it became hard to gain their trust- as his crime was most severe. He was a coward and broke away- running for his life while his brothers held their nerve. He will never forget the point of their horns- their 'shock', and the horror in their eyes as he left them to die. After many, many months- One of the younger guardswomen vouched for him- He did his best to assist them when pushing off raiders, using his size to frighten, along with the tactics he finally mastered through surviving in the desert on his own- Yet, battle still bothered him- made his scales itch with worry. The same guardswoman, Almartina Szek'Hakh would later find him, at least interesting enough to be her mate and keep up her home. It was not a long relationship, by any means, a few years- but Zenta found himself happy and devoted to his tasks at hand. The reserve of roles, it suited him- He could do good, but not find himself dishonoring himself. In fact, he felt honored. That was until his new bride did not return from patrol. He waited, and waited- as the sun washed slowly over Moghes, before plunging the city into darkness... Still not a chuff could be heard, nor did the door open. The next day, the horrid news struck him- His new home, now only a reminder of what he lost, had gain, and had lost again... He could not stay here. The Queendom is not bound, due in part to their leadership, by the same rules as the others Moghes nations... After he saw his mate buried and respected, he sold what he could, turned over what he could not to his new clan before hiring a group of Imperial Traders to take him off word... Strange kzlthii... Very strange. Their Goddess does not commune with all? They do not show praise to the ancestors? At least it was a short flight with them, bouncing around until he found himself at a PMCG recruiting office... He did not want to fight, but the pay... Staring at his last credits, and to honor her memory- How could he say no? What do you like about this character? (Describe what you like about this character) Zenta deep down is a survivalist. He wants to honor the code, and live by it. Both because he was raised too, and to honor that what he has lost. If he tried harder perhaps he would not find himself here with the PMCG, getting shipped off to the Horizon. If he tried harder, he could have made the ancestors proud. He now desires to do better, and do all that he can to repay the many debts he owes. Why he was given a chance over others? He asks this everyday. How would you rate your role-playing ability? I'd like to believe I'm pretty good at RP! I try to think of characters that mesh well with the lore, but still have their own dash of interestingness. I do my best to respect the lore and work with it to give a brand new story to tell. Notes:

The Captain asked me to send the fax, during the start of the conference room discussion (So I did miss a minute or so of it). I did LOOC let the tags know that we were doing that so they could AOOC/Ahelp ask for central to go respond w/ 'SCC? Odin? OOCly it was also to try to give antags another tool, which it almost always is, to help solidify their gimmick As in terms of the announcement, didn't actually read it (I joined after it, no idea how long). I stop. This is before it IMMEDIATELY flips to Yellow Alert due to those grem bug things. So I go back to it. It's not causing an issues and almost everyone knows what is going on. I'm just using my native tongue to say friend because it rolls better- It's nicer for me, and shows some cultural diversity. After about ten minutes, writing his own report up. Warden walks up to arrest me HIMSELF when there were PLENTLY of officers who could do it. Stepping out of his authority and role because he personally had a grudge against me for it? At least what I was told by security personnel by what was discussed over security comms. I did ask the Captain to step in, because this seemed, honestly, childish. She did not. We got to the brig, and the Warden instantly was going to fine- just swipe credits from my account without a second thought. Miners are paid good here- but eating is still one of my priorities, Si? So, I had figured I would mention we're allowed a choice. The Warden then 'allowed me' to sit in the brig. I just want this cleared from my record and the proper re-training to be handled out as crew members need it.
