DahBunny
BYOND key: DahBunny Character names: Bjorn Agni-son How long have you been playing on Aurora?: six months, i think? could be less, my sense of time is terrible. Why do you wish to be on the whitelist?: Seems like the natural progression for Bjorn due to his loyalty to both Zavod and the aurora crew. It also seems like it'd be a better way for Bjorn to interact with Zavodskoi's offstation lore via Fax's. Why did you come to Aurora?: A place for deep roleplay with rather active but friendly admins Have you read the Aurora wiki on the head roles and qualifications you plan on playing?: I have, i also tend to open a tab to the wiki of my role and relevent information on my second monitor when i play. Have you received any administrative actions? And how serious were they? I'v been poked a few times by the staff, but i don't think for anything major, and i tend to act on they're feedback as i get it. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph each. Give a definition of what you think roleplay is, and should be about: Honestly i veiw text based roleplay in the context of games like SS13 heavy RP servers as a collaberative writing experience, your enjoying yourself by putting yourself into a narrative as a character you designed, and you have to active in reaction to stimulus you cannot predict due to the involvement of others, i feel that action and reaction model is where roleplay in this format thrives, its not about making a situation "Fun" for yourself but interesting for everyone involved and finding fun in the experiences you share. What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?: To maintain order and stop conflict, OOCly without structure the whole system would break down, people arguing over seniority, who's right and who's wrong without someone to put they're foot down, while they can guide they're departments if they have one (im only really interested in Corp Lieison myself) i believe that could be stimulated by any member of a department, not just the head, that said having a Head of department also assists in interdepartmental involvement IC, as experienced players normally recieve the whitelist and can help smooth the intergration of players with very different roles on the station. What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?: Naturally it goes without saying we have a debt of trust towards other players, while the whitelist is managed mainly by staff, we get there by votes from the community on our applications, should we be allowed the whitelist we're put in a position that can greater effect the station and the rounds in a whole, effecting everyones experience and enjoyment, the whitelist i believe is in place partly to stress the responsability of the position not just ICly but OOCly towards the playerbase. Could you give us the gist of what is currently happening in Tau ceti and how it affected your character and their career? Currently we're recovering from the war, and still suffering from a shortage of key operation phoron, distrust is high amoungst the crew due too the solarian factor, I play bjorn a senior member of Zavodskoi currently a member of they're arms research and development on contract too the aurora, the danger has left bjorn torn between his obligations too Zavodskoi personel who his loyalty is unwaviering towards and the less combat trained personel of science (im not refering to actually fighting here, but Zavodskoi as a military contractor company would naturally be more well trained to handle the stresses of it) a good example would be my recent "clash" with other personel over me keeping security supplied at risk of my own health, despite me having verified and secured a route to get the ammo and equipment too security, other members of science were naturally scared of bjorn leaving them alone (i cannot read they're minds as to why, but i'd presume of him risking himself despite the safe route or if it was because he plays the role of a "father" or "older brother" to some staff, always trying to give them the support and advice that comes with someone of more advanced years, as the trainees and staff trend younger in science.), bjorn sees the preperations of the station and lack of actual military interaction on station as a vulnerability to his friends, and to his "Family" as he considers anyone under the Zavodskoi banner, even if they do not feel the same about him. What roles do you plan on playing after the application is accepted? Corperate lieison is the only new addition, but i may play bjorn in science from time to time still if that'd be a problem. Characters you intend to use for command or have created for command. Include the job they will be taking.: Bjorn Agni-son Zavod Corperate lieison How would you rate your own roleplaying?: Honestly, i tend to get worked up and thinkless then i should, but i'd put myself in the 7 to 8 range? I'd rather you ask the players i interact with as im a bad judge of my own character. Do you understand your whitelist is not permanent, and may be stripped following continuous administrative action? Im aware, and i'd want it no other way, the moment my actions begin to make the experience less interesting for the people around me, the less fun i have as a result. Have you familiarize yourself with the wiki pages for the command roles? For corperate lieison, yes, i'v glanced over the others to ensure i know they're jobs and respective powers so to speak so i can better interact with them, but im willing to make special note of anything others bring up. Extra notes: Sorry for any Typo's or run on statements, i react poorly to long form writing and applications due to it causing massive anxiety, feel free to get back too me on discord at dahbunny 7832 if you have any feedback on how i could improve this application. here's hoping i got the format right. DaTruRiZZoB
+1 You're stupid enjoyable as Bjorn and even when you're a tiny little shithead drone. You're a really fun RPer, a really fun person, your antag gimmicks always engage the crew in a fun way that is never seen to me as LRP bullshit that makes no sense. I wish you luck with this app Link to comment
ThelonTV
+1 Never had a bad RP situation with Bjorn, just good ones. Always fun to interact with them! Link to comment
niennab
I am excited to see what you do with the role. I've had fun rping with Agni-son as Brandon and I trust you can execute the role. +1 I am uncertain if a character who is a corporate liaison can also work as a scientist. Will Agni-son be working exclusively in the role as a liaison? Link to comment
MEDTECH
Who will steal our research shuttle? Who will create our beautiful laser-shotgun-rifles? Aaaaaaaah! More seriously, it's a role in which you will fit right in, in regard of all the discussions we had, and the roleplay we shared. The character is lively, has a developed background, sentiments, and an undying loyalty to his colleagues and corporation. From a more OOC point of view, I think that you have the required calm, sympathy and pragmatism to be trusted with the whitelist. I'll give you a +1 ! Link to comment

Will Agni-son be working exclusively in the role as a liaison? Depends on what the staff decide as to if a Liaison off-duty as a rep could work as a scientist, that said i would likely exclusively be liaison unless the role is taken, which if allowed by the staff i'd do the occasional scientist shift and play it off as "Winding down from politics for abit" Link to comment
Shadow
Trial starts today and ends on the 26th. Try to get feedback regarding your command play, feedback that's about your non-command rp or essentially boils down to just "+1" will be not be taken into account. Link to comment
KingOfThePing
While I cannot understand why you made Bjorn Liaison, since he is not suited for this position, according to his records and you should re-think that coice, you are a capable roleplayer and its enjoyable to play with you and your characters. I get what your saying, but as a player i saw this as the only way to advance bjorn IC as a character within Zavod, i asked around and a number of people said this was the most suitable way to promote him, i also think his deep faith and love for Zavod and its staff makes him a natural pick for the link between Zavod crew and Zavod central, And i'd argue that if qualifications were as important as merit (warrented or otherwise) we wouldnt have so many overpaid CEO's in companys in real life which i doubt would change in the far future. That said i appricate the feedback. Link to comment

niennab
I enjoyed the round where you came to the bar, interacted with the crew and spoke on some recent matters pertaining to some of the Zavodskoi contractors. I am certain you can handle the rp responsibilities of a liaison. +1 Feel free to advertise your application at round end also! Link to comment
Astra
As far as I've seen, the main job of a Liaison is to raise awareness, do PR, and play favorites with their faction, and I believe Bjorn does this well, wandering around the station and being a loveable gun-nut uncle, being a very appealing face for a damn weapons manufacturer. He knows his role and does not try to assume command, but tries to help out when stuff turns bad. Link to comment
