Grant Xenobiology More Tools to RP With Vampires/Changelings

What the title says here, my ideas go as followed;

Allow xenobiologists to have the ability to stun/dissect changelings, allow them to do autopsy scans and provide them research too, allowing xenobios to put like bomb collars on said changelings so they can scan and research the effects of changeling stings for more research points would be really neat, made primarily, to combat changelings being locked in xenobio with nothing to do except just try to make small talk.

Extending this to giving research a shuttle to Upsilon and or having an Upsilon area on the Odin that they can send the body to at the end of the round would be neat too.

I'd like to see this. Having a situation where security has identified "Well... it doesn't die when it dies." but not just repeating the same shoot, die, resurrect cycle is something which ling kind of needs. Would also give xeno-bio something different to do too.

Please. As someone who PLAYS this, I would enjoy having an alternative like this. Or at least something that can detect anomalous PEOPLE. It should go off in the presence of vampires.

I've always felt that vampires are strictly chaplain territory.

Shame we have a distinct lack of salt circles and yelling "BEGONE DEMON".

although not particularly realistic vampires aren't either so

Implying they are supernatural instead of using logic to rationalize it doesn't quite make sense and might get you bwoinked depending on what's said/done.
sadly no one really plays a chaplain save for me every so often.

Oh yeah no, cult, it certainly makes sense, given well, that is outwardly supernatural, but a vampire healing their wounds or teleporting could be chalked up to augmentations or something similar.

And Wiz too but Wiz is.. It's own beast.

Vampires are creatures of the Veil akin to Cultists, from what I remember. So they're equally supernatural. Wizards on the other hand pull from whatever the fuck since they're not flavoured any particular way due to the multitude of powersets. All three of these though share a common counter of the Chaplain, as it should be.

Xenobiology getting more from Changelings is a fine idea, though. Dissection for more research sounds great, but they don't need shock collars or stunning tools (either ask a member of Security to remain to help or just steal the baton from xenoarchaeology).

The problem with that, is that most people will go to great lengths to explain it logically, and few characters will think that it's the supernatural, and thus the vamps never go to the chaplain, the few times the stars align and there is one. Imho it would be a cool idea for the xenobiologists to do something with them.

Trying to explain vampires logically is doomed to fail the moment the vampires use any of their abilities. Going by the logic of the supernatural and Vampires in particular (i.e. 'unnatural curse'), a xenobiologist wouldn't get anything besides a swift enthrallment or embrace. As for the Chaplain, most of the time when people ignore the Chaplain it's a very hamfisted attempt at anti-meta (because they're afraid of getting a fingerwagging if they call a blood cult a blood cult and a vampire a vampire).
