Frances Posted May 21, 2015 Share Posted May 21, 2015 Download the Technic Launcher. Once the technic launcher has been downloaded, go to the "Modpacks" tab and look for this box. Paste the following url into it: http://api.technicpack.net/modpack/aurora-server-pack Then click "Install" at the bottom right of your launcher and you'll have the modpack ready to run from the launcher. I like infrastructure -roads, walls, aqueducts. Making the place look nice. Usually I'd name myself king, and give titles to people to let them make grand projects. Chief Architect would work on the big monuments, castles, and all that. The Captain of the Guard would get all the dosh weapons and spell ingredients to help the town fight against creeper scum or randoms. The Magistrate or whatever would get to run a little bank, because I'd try to get people to use gold nuggets to buy shit because the regular minecraft communism is an aberration to capitalism, but it was whatever. I'm way too lazy to download a bunch of mods to get this sort of thing going off private servers though. The nations plugin is about all I can do, because it lets you set private property so people can't steal shit from your chest or randomly blow up your castle. If we got something like this going up I'd def wanna play, but idk. Quote Link to comment

I used to play on it and still would, but I was the only person to do so, so I won't bug Scopes to maintain it constantly for my sake (it goes down and needs to be restarted from time to time). If more people were willing to embark on a minecraft adventure, though, it'd be great fun (I personally know 1-2 people who'd play, but not enough to get a full thing going.) Quote Link to comment

I've been hosting Minecraft servers since 2012, our current most popular pack is based on terrafirmacraft which makes Minecraft a lot harder.
