New Food Additions: The Poll(tm)

I seek ideas from the community. Lancer and me want to add more foodstuffs to the game. Lancer will do the sprites, I will do the rest. 

Ideas so far:

• fish (that is not space carps) + shrimps and a way to obtain them
• ramen noodles (not cup ramen)
• baked potato slices
• eclaires

 

You can submit any idea (lore related or not), anything is welcome. There is no guarantee that it will be implemented. Only food, no drinks please. If you want to discuss this more privately for some reason, you can message me at Lanze#2028 on Discord, too.

Eclairs could have multiple forms according to the form of the dough used. Religieuses are basically the same thing, but bigger, and round.

Crepes would be lovely too.

Also, the possibility of using different kind of spreads (faux nutella, jam, honey, peanut butter...) would be really cool. We can already obtain some of these but they serve as hardcoded ingredients for recipes and not as condiments, if I remember correctly.

Some Assunzione dishes would be nice, there is hardly any items/flair for them.

Considering the planet's lack of light and heat, and mediterranean culture, one could assume they would make fish based meals. It is not said on the planet's page wether or not there are oceans, even if most of it would be frozen, but deep sea-like fishes cooked à la mediterranean sounds quite logical with the lore.

However I only know about southern france cuisine. If other mediterraneans could give more ideas, that would be great.

Okay, this is NOT a shitpost... ROUNDMEAL.

Maybe not EXACTLY Roundmeal; but basically something so god damn full of protein you literally cannot finish this alone unless you're actually starving. The idea is that this thing could be a favorite among explorers, miners, Xarcs and all who are going to be away for a while and will probably not have access to food and vendors.

Okay I just thought of something else. Meals with the new Xenofauna meat. Could be anything... The only issue is that we would need these creatures to drop meat in the first place, I don' tink any of them do, besides the carps.

This is not dead. I just have no time to do large scale coding currently. Turkey added to the list.
