Flpfs Posted June 14, 2023 Posted June 14, 2023 what are your top picks for a street bike in 2023? i legit want to know your opinions 1 Quote
Zelmana Posted June 15, 2023 Posted June 15, 2023 (edited) I know you asked about street bikes, but what am I, some kinda power ranger? I really enjoy my Indian Scout Bobber. To me, it's great. A bit hard on the back being that it is cruiser style, but what- you bought a motorcycle, right? Don't be a pansy. This thing packs 100hp with how overbuilt it is. It's no sportbike in terms of topspeed, but what, you want to kill yourself going 200mph? This thing picks up and goes because of how fuckin' massive its piston heads are. Did I mention it produces 49% more power on average comparative to a Harley? And Indians are American Made- started a few years before Harley. These things are the original deal, don't let the marketing of hogriders tell you otherwise. This thing is a work of art, brother. Classic style, yet not afraid of innovations. Big ass headers, look at my baby- she's huge. Belt driven? Fuck yeah. Now you might ask- why doesn't it have airfins for cooling? What are you, my grandpa? Fins are like 1930s shit. We have technology. This thing is water cooled. That's right, like a bad mofo computer. They're a bit quiet than Harleys too. That's right. Sneak up on a bitch. Kinda. It's still fuckin' loud. Just quiet than a Harley and will blow by them 10/10 times you can be a mile down the road while the burger eater is still getting into 2nd. Edited June 15, 2023 by Zelmana 1 Quote

I love cruisers, whenever I get a bit more cash I'll probably scrounge up and buy an Royal Enfield. Right now, I'm speaking to a friend's family and trying to get a good price on their MT-3. It's brand new and the guy just didn't like the riding position. Quote
Zelmana Posted June 16, 2023 Posted June 16, 2023 All jokes aside I do wish I had an upright rider. I do have an old Suzuki in my barn I need to fix up. A royal enfield would be classy. I am assuming you're European. Quote

Yamaha bikes are pretty decent overall and their spare parts are abundant, I'm eyeballing an XV 535 bobber myself as I'm not a fan of crouch rockets. Perhaps one day I might get a Harley Davidson Softail bobber or an Indian Scout bobber like Zelmana (not in this economy) Here's a pic as eyecandy Edited July 25, 2023 by Vulcenus added pic Quote
