witchbells
BYOND Key: NursieKitty Character name: Phoebe Essel Item name: Latex Labcoat Why is your character carrying said item to work? Phoebe works with a lot of..bodily fluids, regardless of what department she's in. Blood, bile, acidic blood, cornflakes, you name it. She doesn't exactly have the time to wash every little bloodstain out of a cloth labcoat. So what does she do? She wouldn't spend her money on a fancy, cartoonishly evil-looking labcoat, would she? You must have forgotten who we're talking about. Item function(s): It's a labcoat! It covers your body, has two pockets, and smells like science. Optimally, you would be able to button and unbutton it. Item description:A long, slick labcoat. Good for keeping blood off of your clothes. Item appearance: Typical Howie labcoat. You know the one. Not that long, but you get the idea. Additional comments: I think I was going to put something here but I've entirely forgotten it Link to comment
NebulaFlare
So this way, every scientist can stop handing over their labcoats to her? All my +1 Link to comment
TishinaStalker
... I've actually had the thought of applying for a custom item myself that was in that similar style. Now, this would work like a regular labcoat, right? How much shorter would you prefer it to be? The image labcoat's length just looks like the length of your average labcoat on the server I think. Pretty much the same length, maybe a teensy bit longer. Works like a lab coat, etc. Link to comment
Frances
I could honestly see this as a neat labcoat variant, that could be added into doctor and scientist wardrobes. Of course, if you want to keep it as a custom item, though... Link to comment
Valkrae
10/10 WOULD SCIENCE IN THIS. But for reals, PHoebe deserves this. +1 Link to comment
Hackie
Because hey, I dunno, maybe Phoebe looks stupid in skirts, and maybe she'd look cooler in a labcoat, so hey, maybe I'd plus one it? That sound coo' yeah that coo', +1 Link to comment
Jamini
It would be a bonus if it prevented your jumpsuit from getting covered in blood. ...because labcoats don't actually do that at the moment. Link to comment

If ya fully button up the labcoat it stops your uniform getting covered in blood. I assume the inner lining of Phoebe's coat is made from the skin of her enemies. Something like this? Killerhurtz
+10000 for so many reasons. First, you had me at 'smells like science'. Second, one of my characters (Sybil Rosetta-Sigma) has two main interactions with Phoebe when she's in science at round start or when joining. It all boils down to "Hi, here's your labcoat". Third, I dig the style of the labcoat and Sybil wants one Fourth, I don't like the current science labcoats - I don't like the purple, I don't like the shape of them and it makes the RD look ridiculous when wearing any uniform except the standard one - ESPECIALLY the dress uniform Fifth, I call dibs on Royce Bracket if this is implemented. Sixth, a labcoat like this would almost make me as happy as having the android-like IPC frame that can have hair. ALL OF MY YES Link to comment
