Alberyk Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 Total Eclipse is Observed from Adhomai 01.11.2466 Today, the moon eclipse ended. As all of Adhomai was covered in shadows, the light of progress remained bright. While some decided to stay inside their homes and enjoy the holiday, other Tajara decided to take the opportunity to spend their time in the streets. The police forces, security agents, and soldiers marched through the cities to keep order and safety. In the skies, flying camera bots watched for any suspicious activities. The Palace of the Free Tajara turned on all of its lights, becoming a beacon amidst the darkness. The only notable incident was a kidnapping attempt at B'urr. A father boarded a ship with his three children without telling the mother. Upon noticing that the children were missing, the mother contacted the police. The security service quickly located the criminal. The kidnapper's ship was stopped with the help of a navy boat. Upon boarding the ship, the agents found the children locked in a cabin and the body of the father, who hanged himself, in another room. The mother told the authorities that recently he was involved in gambling, became alcoholic, and was paranoid about the eclipse. The victims were unsure where the criminal was leading them, but they heard him talking about an offering. As the light shone again upon Adhomai, the Hadiist citizens returned to their lives without further worries. The victory of reason over superstition is another proof of Hadiism's perfect design. In the future, generations will never fear anything as banal as the dark. Telescopes report that Raskara is returning to its expected orbit.
Alberyk Posted December 20, 2024 Posted December 20, 2024 Ministry of Research Announces Development of Anti-Meteor System 20.12.2466 A joint report from the Orbital Fleet and corporate liaisons revealed that meteors have become problematic in the ongoing construction of the Bluespace Gate. Announced in 2465, the gate is being built to link S'rand'marr with Tau Ceti. When finished, it will bring great prosperity to Adhomai. However, due to still unknown reasons, the construction site is being subject to heavy meteor strikes. The structure of the gate was damaged on multiple occasions. Ships bringing crew and resources were also hit. The Tomorrow's Gate station staff are now trying to find the cause, some theorize it might be caused by some anomaly from Krisha. Some extra telescopes and sensors were also shipped to the facility. Minister of Technology Zhuldyz Hadii announced that the Ministry of Research is currently working with the Orbital Fleet to develop an advanced anti-meteor system. The current plan is to adapt a copy of the Aparhatchyk to control weapons capable of intercepting the rocks. It is being debated if stationary platforms or ships are the best alternative. Party Secretary Yakiv Hadii urged the Ministry of Research to develop and deploy the system as soon as possible. He further argued that finishing the gate should be a priority for the People's Republic. Chief Naval Commander Samirro Qarrarhaz ordered some Icelance ships to help with the defense of the construction site. The Tomorrow's Gate station is also preparing a small expedition to the rim of S'rand'marr to further collect data on the source of the asteroids.
canon35 Posted yesterday at 06:02 Posted yesterday at 06:02 (edited) Ministry of Education to Re-Structure Secondary School System 23.09.2467 In a move to accelerate and improve the education of the Republic’s youth, the Ministry of Education has announced upcoming reforms to the secondary schools of Adhomai and Hro’zamal. All secondary schools will now be sorted into three categories of preparatory trade schools, higher preparatory schools, and arts schools. Through the usage of standardized exams, marks, and aptitude tests children graduating from primary schools will be sorted into the secondary school type which best suits their skill-sets to ensure that they can bring the most value for the Republic. The preparatory trade schools will train students for jobs utilizing manual labour . Higher preparatory schools will focus on preparing the most academically gifted for university and higher education. The arts schools will educate artistically inclined children in Republican art forms, such as painting and sculpture, while also cultivating skills in the fields of language studies, history, and archaeology. Any student who is found to not succeed in the secondary school type they are placed into will be recommended to transfer to another one. The reforms were raised in today’s Party meeting by Party Secretary Yakiv Hadii on behalf of Minister of Education Kalim Khazdar. The Minister of Education spoke on the improvements as the education system had hardly been changed since the establishment of the Republic in 2432. Under this new system, he argued, students will be able to succeed more as the schools will be more attuned to their aspirations and learning styles. The reforms were supported by Minister of Technology Zhuldyz Hadii who spoke extensively on how the creation of higher preparatory schools can create better generations of scientists for the Hadiist cause. A request was put in by Minister of Defence Irbaykhan Mirarkiizar to develop specialized programs to identify future military officer candidates. A representative of the Chief Naval Commander Samirro Qarrarhaz echoed similar ideas for a Kosmostrelki-oriented program. Khazdar agreed but had raised the issue that it will take time for the education system to adjust to the currently planned reforms, and that these programs will need to be fully developed before being introduced. Headmaster Harrrdanim Tyr’adrr proposed the insertion of People’s Strategic Intelligence Service volunteers in the schools to monitor for subversive activities. This was opposed by Khazdar under the argument that teachers in the school system are already sufficient to identify subversive activities. The reforms passed following further debate. Part of these reforms will involve the development of new schools in cities and towns in the Republic. The Ministry of Technology has partnered with architects to design rapid construction methods such as more durable and faster drying concrete, the usage of atmospheric jetpacks for construction workers, and rapid transportation of materials on the new magnetic trains. Older schools will be retrofitted and adjusted for the type of secondary school that will best fit their design. These new methods will be used to construct schools across Hro’zamal after being tested on Adhomai and the colony’s capital of Muldhir. The Muldhir schools are expected to be constructed with larger facilities and dorms so that it can take in students from across the planet. Edited yesterday at 06:05 by canon35
