LordPwner
BYOND key: LordPwner Character names: Uriel Evans, Kelly Evans, Oak Evans and My Borg Data: Model DG 291 How long have you been playing on Aurora?: I have been playing on the Aurora Station for about Three Months now Why do you wish to be on the whitelist?: I wish to be added to this whitelist to be a leader, and even test my whit in my different head of staff positions. Why did you come to Aurora?:I came to the Aurora for no real reason to be honest, I just joined and even though I made mistakes I did greatly enjoy the overall community Have you read the BS12 wiki on the head roles you plan on playing?: Yes I have done my research on all of them, but Mainly I have been checking on the Head Of Security, Head of Personal and Research Director are the main ones I have been looking at Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph each. Give a definition of what you think roleplay is, and should be about: The definition of roleplay in a general view, is a way to live in someone else's shoes. Roleplay is a way to conduct yourself in a different way to see how it would be reacted too, and how you feel through it. And lastly roleplay is a way to make friendships with other people, to make bonds that can last, even if they are only pixel one, its a way to find friends and make friends for a life time. What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?: The out of character purpose of a Head of Staff is keep order. In keeping this order the head of staff is meant to teach those under him/her/other alien species and to keep their department's working and active. Also in keeping order it would be their jobs to set the example of how the other characters should rp and function. What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?: The out of character responsibilities of whitelisted players are and should be to uphold the rules, be active, and roleplay effectively. To show these to other players as I try to do now would be to uphold the rules and make gentle corrections for those breaking them if no staff is online to handle the issue, which is very very very rare. Also I would play as I do, about two to five rounds a day depending on the rounds length and the day. Lastly I would put roleplaying to its best, setting a example and also showing that I'm competent enough to have a more than basic roleplay discussion and action. Please pick one of your characters for this section, and provide well articulated responses to the following questions. Character name: Uriel Evans Character age: 31 years of ago Please provide a short biography of this character (approx 2 paragraphs): His family's tradition and most of their life blood is mining, and that being true, most everything is done on the ship, eating, sleeping, cooking, cleaning, and most importantly to Uriel at least, his birth happened on this very vessel, his first moments and his greatest memories of childhood. Uriel Evans is the youngest of his other four siblings, two brothers and two sisters and the only no not married so work on the USS Exodus and the mining frigate is his life blood, while his siblings have families to worry about. Uriel Evans has a great view on the company NanoTrasen and wishes the best for it while he serves under them. To expand more on Uriel's work on the Aurora Station, Uriel has worked as a Chaplin, Librarian, one year in each set of work, following that these jobs weren't for him in the slightest he switched over to the supply trade and enjoyed cargo and pushed his hardest to go up in the food chain of cargo. Later after four years of being a Cargo Technician, Evans applied and was accepted into being a Station Quartermaster. Within his nine years of being a quartermaster he has learned how to lead people, and how to handle stressful situations and wishes to rise in the ranks to better help the station. What do you like about this character?: I like that Uriel is caring, every crew member if they piss him off or not, he wishes the best for them. I also like that Uriel is willing to take on any task and any amount of work and get it done. What do you dislike about this character?: I dislike that Uriel gets angry so easily, that a good bit of things tick him off. I also dislike that Uriel tries to befriend of everyone, its not really going to be possible. What do you think makes this character fit to be a head of staff?: Uriel is fit to be a head of staff because of his years as working as a quartermaster, many crew members do know him and understand he cares for all of the and their safety. Uriel also is a hard worker, anything asked of him, it happens as quickly as he can do it. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions. How would you rate your own roleplaying?: I would rate my own roleplaying skills at least a six out of ten, since I do communicate well, keep as much IC as possible (I don't really use LOOC unless they need help with like the radio for departments) and I do try to show the actions my character is doing. Extra notes: Since of my short playtime compared to many others, I will most likely not get accepted, but I do wish too be because I want to show the Aurora Station of NT what I can do, and what I've learned over my months of playing, Also thank you for reading it this far and do leave any feedback you believe you need to leave for me! Thank you guys Edited March 27, 2016 by Guest Link to comment
UnknownMurder
I was the first person he advertised to, makes me special. More Importantly: I like Uriel Evan's Roleplay as the Quartermaster, even though. He is used quite commonly. The Biography seems to be short, but informative and shows great, actual improvements as the Station Quartermaster. LordPwner seems to have started recently as a nobody, and became a somebody to look up to as a Cargo Tech. +1 Link to comment
Owen
I see Uriel Evans quite often on the station and he is a very competent Quartermaster. As UnknownMurder stated, the backstory is a little short for my taste but gets the basic idea of what you are going for across. +1. Link to comment
Ricky_the_banshee
I've seen Uriel several times as a QM. I love how his character isn't afraid in engaging when it comes to social interactions with others (cough RP.). He is one of the few people my character doesn't mind spending time with, not to mention he also knows how his job works. +1 Link to comment
Voyd2000
Bit of a hardass QM! No profit to be made, but may be fun to set him lose on the crew as HoP. Give'em a gun let's see what happens! +1 Link to comment
Dumplinz
I was an AI while he was a borg unit, very good RP, cooperated, asking where he was needed as a borg unit, actually talked to his fellow borgs and crew and didn't seem like someone who would take there whitelist as anything less than serious. Heroically died pushing out the super matter crystal that was about to explode, truly a hilarious moment +1 for sure. Link to comment
Chada1
I've roleplayed with Uriel more than a couple times. He can bring conflict to situations where there isn't any, which is a good thing IMO. You stated you would teach people if possible, that's good. I'll give a +1 and hope i'm right. Link to comment
