Fortport
The idea is that if someone carefully examines a strangled person, dead or dying, that they'd find bruises around their neck. It's realistic, and could either be seen from on-site examination or autopsy analysis. It depends on game balance, how it's seen. Link to comment
UnknownMurder
I fully support this. This way, it is easier to tell that the man has died being strangled or choked by a TRAITOR. This way, it would allow the Detectives and probably Medical Morgue Surgeons be interested in the cause of the death without having to autopsy. Link to comment
Guest Complete Garbage
Just curious, but do grabs leave fingerprints on other people? If not, they probably should. Link to comment
Nanako
Not to rain on your parade, but I'm not sure there even IS a neck. The bodypart selector goes straight from torso to head. I think even cutting someone's throat puts a wound on their head Link to comment
Skull132
The autopsy data cuold be applied to the head. Link to comment
Fortport
The autopsy data cuold be applied to the head. Sure! Can you see this feature not breaking balance? Link to comment
DatBerry
The autopsy data cuold be applied to the head. Sure! Can you see this feature not breaking balance? A good cornor would figure out the cause of death easily with a body scan, if you find an engineer who sufficated to death in space with a hardsuit yet their lungs are intact would mean they didnt die in vaccum. We could have people who died while neckgrabbed have a text on examine that their neck has bruises. Though id note that strangling is a very poor choice of murder, tested it out before, throat slitting continously on the otherhand can kill in mere seconds Link to comment
Fortport
It shouldn't be possible to just slit a person's throat repeatedly. Strangling happens in real life, often, regardless of the fact that slicing with a knife is more efficient. Another point is that the bruises could be there even if the person survived. It could be proof that someone attacked them! Imagine if a prisoner was choked out by an officer, but the officer stopped when the chief came around. The assistant then yells that he was strangled by the officer, and there's evidence of it. It's a way to attack/kill someone in-game, right now, with no evidence. That's not how it should be treated, as it is a real way to harm. Link to comment
