There is literally nothing wrong with a paramedic carrying a fire axe during red alert.

 

It was never red alert. Code level was blue at the most, but it was code green when I as the pAI took an LWAP shot meant for Uriel, and then got killed. I watched the full conflict unfold from there, I was a third party observer of what was occurring.

Doesn't matter if you didn't swing the axe at anyone, you gave chase with the rest of the mob and thus you were associating.

You weren't breaching anywhere with it and the situation did not call for the axe to be used. When you are not using the tool for its intended purpose (you were pretty much holding it for the sake of deterrence), the fire axe becomes classified as a weapon. Parameds do not get weapons until permitted by the head of security. I highly doubt you consulted a head of staff in regards to using the fire axe. It is to be used for emergencies, and there was no emergency leading up to the mob getting floored in cargo. You brought the axe with you from medbay to respond to the fight.

 

I fully admit to having been too overzealous with it in the past, and having used it in situations of questionable justification. But this was not one of those.

 

Your bad track record of overzealousness and adopting extreme positions without warranted reason is one of many points that made me vote -1 in the first place. You have not gotten better, you have been just as indignant and inflexible since this application was put up.

And above all else, let me just tell you something. A bad student is a worse teacher. A bad subordinate is a worse leader. A bad employee is a worse boss. What makes the aforementioned all bad in their own way? Oh, lots of things. But it all centers on the ability to be able to listen.

You are not required to believe a certain way, you are not required to do things a certain way, you are not required to change yourself a different way. But if you are incapable of listening to others and understanding exactly what they are saying and attempting to dig into the sincere intent and message they are attempting to communicate to you, then you are not deserving of any higher responsibility that will require you to delegate a team, make hard decisions and be able to justify those decisions.

I've given you enough hints, I think everyone else has given you enough hints. Think.

Actually, I take back what I said about her being a good roleplayer and all that. Nanako, you were a lovable person everyone loved. Now, the character you are playing resembles you right now. If you were my head of staff, I wouldn't want to talk to you privately rather talk to another head of staff, partner, or CCIA.

I now fully understand what Killer and Delta is trying to say. Forgive me for not noticing this earlier and just now, I've only thought your statements were hearsay. Now, if we're going to talk about roleplay. I get the vibe that you act as "I know what's going on." "Your opinions are wrong, I am right. " "Do what I do."

Considering, you yelling at me in the discord privately of how to act as a Head of Staff during emergencies when you are NOT a Head of Staff just makes my OOC feelings want to get in the way that I don't want to involve you in my RP whenever I'm an antag or anytime.

Say no more. I'm sorry. It must be my OOC feelings getting in the way but your way of 'RP' is just something I can't acknowledge anymore.

My pick on Nanako... It's same really with all the Syion's really and I know this. Alot of people like you OOC'ly, but fucking /hate/ your character.

My personal take on Nanako, she does her job but stirs up shit, not the think I want to see in a Head Position, sorry Nanako. -1

After reading through and analyzing all 8 pages, Garnascus and I have a verdict at last. Nanako, throughout the thread and in gameplay, has:

 

• Been mature about everything in the thread
  
• Kept their cool through the debates
  
• Efficiently defended her points
  
• Made sure to leave room to improve and has improved from what I've seen of her on server by working in the same department and observing.
  
• Very good IC initiative/delegation which is very important to head of staff players.
