Scheveningen Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Title. Not much needs to be said, we have a full staff roster 24/7 and there's little actual reason to force a restart.
SierraKomodo Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 I'd request a contingency be implemented alongside this to check if the online staff are actually active; There's been many an occasion where we have one or two staff 'online' but no response to an ahelp for upwards of 45 minutes.
Lohikar Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Skull implemented this today in dev; if there's online non-AFK staff, restart votes cannot be called. Associated PR: https://github.com/Aurorastation/Aurora.3/pull/2529
Chada1 Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 I'm in favor of this. Really not too much to say, if the Staff are there and active, there's no need for a restart vote. I've only had to call one aaages ago Stuff Happened and no Staff were online. All players were dead and in ghost chat decided to call a restart vote. Even the Antagonist was dead. 3/4 players I think.
Skull132 Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Implementation: - A vote is only stopped if there are non-AFK admins on the server. - Admins are notified of a vote attempt with a bwoink, so they can review and address the problem.
