Guest Menown Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 Simple suggestions -> Give Medical Hyposprays Change that can be made to balance: * Delayed like syringes -> Port the code from syringes to make it a visible use Pros: * Larger capacity for medicine * Infection possibility lowered (rp-wise) * Futuristic Cons: * With the delay added, and visibly added when used, there are no cons, literally.
LordFowl Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 The entire point of a hypospray is that it is instant. Medical also starts off with at least one hypospray, the CMO's, I am nearly sure.
Guest Menown Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 They do, yes. But doctors use needles on different people. Hell, I doubt they're ever thrown away. Jet injectors are an actual thing that would make more sense.

Jet injectors are an actual thing that would make more sense. They're special disinfecting future needles, that kill 100% of all bacteria and foreign organisms on the syringe after each use.
Arrow768 Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 I have no hard feelings either way, But if implemented, there could be a advanced hypospray with no injection delay for the cmo and a normal hypospray for the doctors with a injection delay. Only thing really missing to implement that are the sprites for the advanced hypospray

ForgottenTraveller Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 You could have both versions be made in RnD. To give it a cost.
Guest Menown Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 That'd work, FT, so long as the basic one isn't a terrible cost like silver and metal. Maybe something like whatever the advanced incision thing costs. The advanced one CMOs get can cost some extra stuff, but some basic upgrades for departments shouldn't hinder on whether mining is operational/profitable.
LordFowl Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Voting for dismissal. Hyposprays are designed to be instant, syringes and pills already fill the capacity that a hypospray would give, except a hypospray would be better than both because it combines their advantages.
Alberyk Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 The hypospray is supossed to be a chief medical officer tool, at least at start, I see no reason to remove this. Voting for dismissal.
