Faris
So, feedback for the event I hosted. This was the snippet of the event. Hello folks. I'm going to be running an event while will happen in around 20ish minutes. The general premise is a focus on fantasy elements yet at the same time not making it become a cult v2 sort of thing. Magic, monsters, intrigue and conflict. If I do conduct this event, I won't be taking any ghosts for any specific roles, only people that have joined the round. Any ghost roles will most likely only be for the finale, if I find that I need it. This will mostly be hands off event, freeform per how the players react to the shifting events and conflict. I will only interfere in the sense of how a GM does, to keep the story progressing and hopefully avoid any stagnation. -Aboshehab. Discuss. Quote Link to comment
Catnip
>sate your thirst >1200 blood >no ascnesion smh Memes aside it was pretty good. Good spooks and I managed to convert like 5 people to vamp/thrall. Quote Link to comment
AllyBearsley
It was pretty good. I had a ball with it. I loved the mental torment being sent to our chars and how we had to RP that on top of a talking crystal god thing. I wish there was some incentive for people to not kill the Captain besides you having to make it up (unless I missed it). Overall I really enjoyed it despite joining in a bit late. Coalf
Join round. Do some stupid shit, try a social experiment that sort of stuff. Oh hey they're bringing in a crystal neat, time to study it. Nobody is documenting it, I guess that falls on me as a lab assistant. Why is the scientist burning, why did the monkey explode, did that guy puke? Holy shit a skeleton. Everyone leaves, forget I'm a lab assistant and can't open doors. Stay in there a bit too long, gain darkness powers, lights too bright can't even see without feeling like nails are driven into my eyes have to put on some tape. Suddenly THAT IS NOT DEAD WHICH CAN ETERNAL LIE, AND WITH STRANGE EONS EVEN DEATH MAY DIE Wake up in maintenance, get lost for half an hour. Kalrene helps me by punching the wall out, get him some nanopaste. Still fucking blind just wander around, tell some people SM is the anti-thesis, they try to use it, doesn't work, SM gets ejected. Some random guy finds me, drags me around, gives me a long phallic object which I devouver, a breadtube, nice. Get on pods. Survive, blind, covered in blood, shellshocked, bruised and partially insane. mfw The super serial version What the event lacked was closure and clear direction, it was clear people didn't actualy know what they're supposed to be doing outside of commands given directly by the voice or doing the opposite of what the voice said. Second the closure came late, at around hour and something the round started to stagnate with nothing really kicking it off before the execution began, people just wandered around not knowing what to do, again to the previous point. Third, command, while command wanted to also have as much fun as possible they kinda skimmed on their own duties and while I understand this is not a situation they're trained for I've spoken to a player who ghosted simply because heads were giving conflicting orders or just not giving enough details for him to take interest in the events transpiring. But overall it was a good event, focused on groups and individuals in the first phase while it slowly shifted towards the whole station towards the end, I liked that a lot, it gave a sense of progression. The fact the event wasn't just centered around security also helped, simply not having something to click clearly increased the atmosphere as security couldn't just say "If it bleeds, we can kill it." The random vampire/grue/hulk also helped I think, people weren't very sure if it's an event, a normal round or just special admin fuckery and Tiffany was capable of going completely fucking haywire since nobody focused on her being a vampire Overall I think there is still something to fix but it's getting better and better. Brutishcrab51
>Ready at roundstart, Visitor. >Go to the Bar. Get whiskey, cigars, start to talk to Carmichael. Crystal is announced. >Start hearing voices, seeing hallucinations. Unusual. >Start hearing voices in your head. >"YOU NEED THIS POWER FOR MARS!" >Red eyes, bulging green skin, freak out in the Bar. >Medical Doctor tries to sedate. Clock her in the jaw. >Break out of Medical after Chloral. Smash Doctors around. >Get riot shield, riot armor, run around screaming and breaking walls. >Hold off six people alone at Medical, power of Mars. >Fight for the Captain. >Vampire? >Fight the Vampire, power of Mars. >Get the Vampire down to near-crit. Get grab-fu'd. Neck cut. >Rest in peace, power of Mars. >I loved it. Quote Link to comment
