[1 Dismissal] Disabilities suggestions.

So seeing we have this wonderful disability thing now. Maybe we could have a suggestion thread about getting some more put in?

Anywho, a disability I'd love to get put in is illiteracy. Make the words on paper and possibly PDA/newscasters jumbled. Maybeee.. Something like when the AI tries to read something from afar?

Feel free to add your own suggestions here.

I hate to pull this card, but you mean that NT hired an illiterate for their flagship station? The idea is really fun, but I already hear the salt and RP realistic char issues.

Well, actually it could be added and be a part of the cloning/brain damage stuff. Tourettes is shit, but being unable to read seems to make more sense.

Traumas =/= disabilities.

Illiteracy as a start-menu toggable disability is something that might be too far, I have to agree. You need literacy to read and agree to your employment contract, unless we want to go down the road that NT is exploitative enough that they muscled the laws into allowing them to make you sign contracts without reading them.

We literally have a completely freeform blank slate to build on when it comes to HIRING policy. NT can hire whoever they want for their flagship research station. If we want to say NT uses employees with disabilities as a way to talk up their diversity quotas, then we can.

I know, that's my point. If we wanted to add it, it would have to be in that sense, rather than a disability.

Trauma makes sense. And certain jobs could maybe be illiterate and make sense, although for the reasons senpai jackboot takes up it is a bit weird.
