  1. Space cleaner doesn't slip people, it's mops that do. Plus the RIPLEY is cargo AND engineering mech wise. Everything else seems relatively cool, I'll ready properly later when I finish work.
  2. First Thought: Bring back Corporate Sec Caps Second Thought: Warden and HoS Caps - Ditch the chequer boarding, I know it is common on real life police hats (even though we are sec not police) it just doesn't look right on this scale, personally I think a solid band would work better.
  3. If I was better at RP and impersonating: Steven.
  4. So looking back to what I said earlier I hadn't noticed but for some reason Sue or Skull or Scopes or someone has removed the corporate caps from the lockers, which sucks ass, so yea, I can support this. Or the addition of corp caps to the custom spawning list
  5. It's more an age old mapping thing than a lore thing. But we do have male /female bathroom door instances in the instances, so somewhere on the station/outposts, science I think has segregated facilities.
  6. (Workplace hazard is people creating a workplace hazard, I.e. Engineers shocking doors, electrifying grilles and what not. I am a mapper, not a DO, I don't control the DO's format.)
  7. ((An IC thing that I am sorry but will achieve nout. Incident reports are about players ingame behaviour to get bad behaviour curbed. I don't see what this will achieve? Other than Meow asking engineers to install glass panels every shift. ))
  8. Heh, no, it is easy to find oxygen yes, it was just a fun-ish idea I had after finishing a college assignment. (I study aero engineering) As for chemistry making them? I like that idea, grenade casing + beaker of sodium chlorate + igniter/signaller assembly or something? I would love it if so,e realistic danger could be added to them. IRL thus are on use only and have to be transported as HAZMAT with triggering mechanisms disabled, they are in heavy steel cases as well.
  9. The sodium chlorate candle, or emergency oxygen generator. A device which when triggered burns and produces a source of oxygen, which when filtered is breathable. It's an irreversible reaction, with modern units having a burn time of 10-20 minutes, used currently in aviation as one of a few possible sources for the passenger emergency oxygen system on aircraft. If we were to implement this into the game, I have a few ideas we could choose from: -emergency O2 supply: acts as a large O2 tank for people stood on the tiles directly next to it, if they attach their masks to it. Possibly have two per department or one per major room stored in an emergency closet or even the wardrobes in some areas, people who want to use it right click it, instead of a set pressure contained, it could provide for a set time from ignition? -room refiller: used as a generator by atmos techs to help speed up the filling process for a room, at this point we could reason that the candle is assembled so as to have a nitrogen source (N2 tank that is replaceable?) and then mixes into air mix as it comes out of the nozzle.
  10. Can we not? Yea... If you want to make a suggestion? Use the suggestion board? Okay? Thanks, bye.
  11. We've already completely buffed up the forensics side of detective work in have last 6 months thanks to Sue.... I just feel that this will just be too complicated for what we need it for, and with the number of different uniforms, and clothing items and colours on those items. Sorry.
  12. Not gonna go into great detail because most points have been covered, but I don't really see the need to add more crap that won't get used barring once in a blue moon.
  13. I wouldn't mind seeing this in game, I can happily support the app. But to further the, couldn't you use a normal cap point: The sprite is exactly the same, unless you give it to someone they wouldn't see the stuff that "adds sentimental value" so what stops use using a normal corp sec hat and using it as if it did have the writing? Once again, I do support this app though, just trying to explain where Tish was coming from.
  14. Cool idea and all, but yea: This, you are not forced to use prosthetic limbs in game as an engineer, or any job, with the exception of injuries acquired mid round, but even then you have a choice normally. So yea, all in all, it would be pretty cool to see but you still choose to use prosthetic limbs so you should accept the risks.
  15. No where in that post does it say that hostages can't defend themselves, it simply says don't cry if the hostage taker decides to kill you for it, like they easily would in reality.

    Removing Changelog

At first I was like: "Wat? Why?"when I saw the title, but after reading, yea i can support this
  17. I dunno... On other servers they are just a grief tool as far as I have ever seen/heard. I don't see what they can really add.
  18. https://github.com/Aurorastation/Aurora/pull/511 That is why.
  19. I'm currently of that situation... Again... And yea, the answer is just, don't play for a while, find another game or in my case focus more on college and stuff for a while.
  20. I was not aware of this rule in the first place. xD
  21. I agree with Jakers, but I don't really mind either way.
  22. This is one of two games I am immensely looking forward to at least trying, but unless it comes out for PS3 (I doubt it) It'll have to wait till I can get a better computer. HOPEFULLY by the end of the year depending on if I go into full time work or an apprenticeship.
  23. You could have just admin PM'd and let them place someone else as an Operative? Don't try and put the game before yourself or force yourself to do things you don't want to do. Otherwise things like this happen or we completely burn ourselves out. :s
  24. If people can't choose to RP with a minimum of two hours, I doubt a minimum of three or four hours will do much other than cause people not to play. In my opinion, sorry.
