I must admit I actually feel that perhaps the titles of Maintenance technician and the role of janitor should be combined as a job, because to be fair the Janitors are meant to do the maintenance (Light Replacement namely) and cleaning. But yea, making the janitor part of Engineering/Maint Staff is something I can kinda get behind as long as their access DOES NOT INCLUDE THE ENGINE BAY.

Just something for people to think about, because heck even I am guilty of it in the past. Emergency Physician DOES NOT MEAN AMBULANCE DRIVER/FIRST RESPONDER/EMT. Emergency Physician is a general doctor who works in Emergency Departments, in our case should be the first person a casualty should see upon arriving at medical unless it is a very specific complaint and at which point they need Physch, Viro, etc. However looking back, they are still the most likely of the medical staff to be acting in the role of a "First Responder." Also we do have some sprites in the code for this, made by yours truely:

Ah sweet. Still 3 weeks seems short. XD UK enlisted trainining varies from about 6-10 (I think. Not sure off the top of my head) for Army/Navy/Air Force, and longest in NATO is the Royal Marines at 32 weeks. RAF/Navy officers are 32 weeks, Army officers are 40. Oh? MP eh? :3 RAF Policeman (Enlisted) is one of my primary back up options if I can't be a pilot. So best of luck to you mate. Stay safe

I do have lots of stuff for the Sol Mil (that I can show) I just need to finish, do inventory sprites, and then pursuade skull to put it onto the server branch of the code. xD (But I know he will say no because it has a high chance of being unused fluff. xD )

I'm not saying I am against the idea for changes to round start job selection, I am just saying if its a round already in progress, check the manifest before joining rather than just diving in.

Heres my number one suggestion in relation to this suggestion. Check the MANIFEST before you join the game. It allows you to see what departments are staffed and which ain't. It also tells you who is SSD if you are in the lobby screen.

Gonna go against: But yea,I would support more need for maintenance, but seriously? That is literally engineering/electricians job, we don't need a new job for it, it is litterally the job description of Engineering to be doing maintenance and stuff, unfortunately the game only has the worst case scenarios for engineers (Breaches) and menial construction tasks, rather than what their real jobs would be, which is day to day maintenance. (Lubrication, cleaning, repairs, replacing components, etc.

Mine was allowed because it was originally (before changes, but I can still make more changes to bring it back inline *shrugs*) working uniform for NT's 'Navy'. A bit outdated amd retconed history. I personally don't really have an issue with this, I can see why others might though.
