agreed, I love Roleplaying Crossfire When I roleplay Shooting security in the face; It's my favourite roleplay and I'd like less of Extended becuase I dont get to shoot people as much and Roleplay being a badass Merc.

peace wizards are the worst and ninjas who just steal are the worst. sometimes it's fun to just unload on people and end a round quickly; you are always free to quickly hop on another server if you dieand ?subscribe in discord. I think it sucks to have to make someone write a whole story/gimmick on the spot ... when their antaging is not only random it's often secret. the alternative to being murdered by a ninja is sitting around doing more bar rp or waiting for security to deal with it, I get being upset for being targeted but being targeted is better then being literally randomly ganked. i think it's silly a malf ai can vent the entire station and borgs can run around murdering people with not an eye batted but we have to create complex justifications for antags. murder boning is killing 14 people in a row in the most op way possible, cutting their legs off and locking them in a room. i'd take a high intensity round with a gimmick like this then an over played, over dramatic chase thats dragged out to one and a half hours because...it ends quickly

prate is one of the best people on aurora and one of the best people to be bwoinked by bc theyre always understanding; im not an admin or anyone important but having prate on staff always makes me happy.

Banning staff member's: Catnip Reason of Ban: I posted a bad meme and got another strike Reason for Appeal: it's been awhile, I enjoy the server a lot and my other strikes were just from joining in the big general chat arguments, I've been away for a good couple of months and obviously dont have any malicious attitudes or hostile behaviors with any staff and miss discussing the rounds on discord and talking in the code chat to learn.

one of the things you have to sort of take in account is that the exodus was much smaller, not just that but it was only one level; so everyone ran into each other more often. the other problem is an inherent view of what HRP is; there is like two different sides of HRP that dont meld together well. some people think Heavy Roleplay means playing an INDEPTH character, with a lot of aspects to that character; regardless of realism. then other people think Heavy Roleplay means playing a realistic character. Previously there were more "realistic" characters, with some deviations; I remember playing with [mention]Something Vile[/mention] and [mention]AmoryBlaine[/mention] in security, [mention]Dragonspare[/mention] in robotics, [mention]The Stryker[/mention] in Surgery and [mention]Pratepresidenten[/mention] as CMO. eventually a lot of these people who played these characters that had a big impact on rounds sort of left or played less; ontop of that when the lore develops it changes a lot of interactions. On the flip side you dont see the Indepth and fun characters like [mention]SleepyWolf[/mention] Toronto-88 Offten or their CE Diona because these people do get busy and the combination that initially made the server what it was for a lot of people obviously can't be the same. I don't think the server has gotten worse, apart of it is how big the ship is; you really really don't get a chance to interact with people as often. I do know what you're saying by it _feels_ different,

i dont see this as a big need, I use the bottom bar all the time, I dont think anyones dying for more screen space and if they are as I said they can autohide their task bar and get more then this change would give them.

I really havent seen journalist at all, only one who is more annoying then anything and then another who just screamed " im a journalist " and demanded to be let into security situations.

I loved this so so much, the fact I got to run around and play detective was a lot of fun; i interacted with so many people i never thought I'd have a reason to and from start to finish felt really immersive and exciting

all of these non-antag threats are easily delt with by anything from a welder, wrench, toolbox; or ... running i play xenoarcheologist alot and I played engineering for like a year or two; i have never been engaged outside in such an extreme i needed a gun _ever_ for what you're arguing it is for, it is not worth the side effects

again yeah, civilians having guns just screams " i know what round it is " or " i want to have the one up no matter what round it is " people are treating the aurora again as if this was a city or something other then an extremely secure research facility. the station is checked by a clean up crew, the crew is checked before, after and during operations; why would anyone be afraid of anything to the point it justifies them being armed? the guns cargo can order would realistically only be for RnD/Security and has no practical value being the hands of any staff member, the form itself is a gimmicky low rp mechanic that is there to justify arming people in antag rounds it would genuinely stop me from playing if people started demanding guns, it's akin to " HoP all access pls? " and i dont think it has any place on the server... a shitty gun? ,..just to be there ontop of the other 10 guns in code that arent used? sure.

as said in discord, this just seems to be a work around to fine's not having policy; smarter solution is getting a policy on fines. also you're not making credits " more useful " you're making them good for one thing, produce more things that make them a more rigid part of gameplay and then you can call it making them more useful.

how do we prevent meta friends from constantly posting bail

This was discussed heavily by the ISD Discord and most of the active sec players _really_ dont want this.
