Due to the nature of antagonists, you're often fighting either a small group of people or even just one person. I will admit that the crossbow probably isn't a great weapon for actually being an antagonist that wants to cause widespread damage. However, in defense against antagonists it truly becomes what I would say is overpowered, especially considering that antagonists that come into groups have a tendency to fracture as the round goes on. The antagonists that are alone are just out of luck.

Already spawned cyborgs and android do have MMIs and Positronic Brains, from what I can recall. However, players that spawn as 'Robots' (The third option) spawn with neither an MMI nor a Positronic brain. Supposedly their processor is too ingrained to be removed.

I don't know the specifics of the code in any shape or form, but I would assume Nuke Op Hardsuits are armoured, and I can say they are not a hard-counter.
-
Its not a question of roleplay validity; if I saw a fault in your actions I would have made a player complaint. This suggestion is purely about the crossbow, and any allusion to poor roleplay is unspecific and only for the point of argument, such as in Skull's post.
-
The meat of my complaint actually stems from a previous nuke round where three nuke OPeratives, including myself, got pinned to the wall. The only reason I survived to make this complaint is because IPCs don't bleed out. Since I was just a ghost at the event you're citing, I don't have a very clear idea of what happened either.

Considering Syndicate operatives are generally armoured, and occassionally not near walls, yet suffer massive casualties from crossbows when they are employed, I'd say your first point could use some looking into. Thanks for agreeing with me. As Sue said, plastic is pretty common due to the mining overhaul. And, due to OTHER events in the round, I will remain silent on the case of the LWAP. dirty campers

This is quite a simple request. The crossbow needs to be nerfed. It encourages behaviour that is completely contradictory to rules against ramboing. I will agree that as a weapon it is highly amusing, but its availability is its main downside. An example, if you please: Nukey the Nuke Team declares their presence in some fashion (usually bombs). The station agonizes. Security frantically begins handing out weapons. Medical braces for the worst; casualties galore. Science usually crowds into the bar. Engineering solemnly goes to work repairing the bomb damage. And what of cargo, my dear friends? What indeed. They build crossbows, and arm a more potent and powerful militia than Science purportedly can (While I admit that Lawgivers are quite potent, the likelihood of seeing them in a nuke round is quite slim) I'd even say their militia is more potent than security's. A single man with a crossbow can wipe out an entire team of nuke operatives (And I've seen both the robust and unrobust fall to the dreadful weapon that is the crossbow). Why is the crossbow so powerful, though? 1: Its projectile is /extremely/ lethal. Even if the target is not standing conveniently by a wall for a free psuedo stun, getting hit by it ensures death by internal bleeding, in most cases. 2: Its ammunition is /extremely/ common. It fires metal rods. That's it. 3: The weapon itself is pretty common. It can be crafted from cargo technicians. Remove one of these three points, and the weapon becomes bearable. Personally, I'd like to see point 3 removed. I don't mean to be salty, but I'm getting a bit tired of Cargonia ramboing the antagonist for the bazilionth time with their mighty crossbow.

I think restricted roles should really be looked at, especially if roles like Wizard gave restricted roles (Which they shouldn't, for the reasons Scopes highlighted). Currently they seem pretty arbitrary.

A maintainence drone spawns with resources, metal rods, metal plates, glass, reinforced glass, etc. It can select these like any other module. Simple as that.
-
Also, maintainence drones do have access to reinforced glass directly. Thus, since you can more or less infitely stack the reinforced glass (by clicking with it on discarded items of reinforced glass) there isn't much point for the magnetic gripper to be able to pick it up also.

That's not exactly what I meant, but grudges at all are a bad habit, and thus I will acquiesce in this case, and admit that I am not a perfect player.
-
I don't recall that particular incident, Furry, but I will admit I do have a grudge against anybody that is in one occupation and actively meddles in another occupation. That is not isolated to you. Yet another bad habit that leaks into IC, I suppose. I apologize for that particular set of behaviour against you, and I will admit that I do have a bit of a predilection against you because of your xenobiologist to telescientist tech switch strategy.

Systematically responding to each one of your new points with perfect succinctness, since that is the trait you so clearly desire, Yesno: I referred to Bokaza as a girl because he typically plays Elena Rashnikova, a female character. I find it disrespectful to refer to people as 'they' are 'it', moreso than to mistakenly misgender them once. Also, please don't spit. You can spread diseases that way. As to you, Furry, I don't know to do a 'secret fuck you', because if I feel genuine anger or wrath towards somebody I'm not going to veil it if I choose to express it. I will derail ridiculous arguments such as 'space is cold vs space is not cold', for numerous reasons, primary among them being that they're ridiculous arguments. And the only character that I can even recall having any interaction with you beyond a 'Hello' in the halls is Maximus Crane, who you've bodily thrown from his wheelchair on numerous occasions, and thus has plenty of IC reason not to like your character.
-
No, I just automatically apply the gender of people's characters to their OoC persona. It's a habit. I'm not saying that you don't get the joke, I'm saying the joke is in poor taste.

The vote discussion is to me ultimately an auxiliary complaint to a much larger and admittedly disturbing point; the point being that I am an asshole, or at least considered one. But to answer this question, we must first dissect what exactly an asshole is? Currently, it is being used as a catch-all term to define a character (That is an OoC persona) that incites discomfort or change from a positive aura to a neutral or more often negative aura frequently. This is a very vague definition, and is not the true definition of an asshole, which in truth would describe me more as a fool than a jerk, however that is neither here nor there, and this brief segue into semantics is only signifying of the 'true' underlying behaviour of my current OoC persona, which Skull described accurately at one point as 'escalatory'. And it is highly escalatory. My behaviour is magnifying; I purposefully make mountains out of molehills, and fabricate realities to explain insignificancies. I voted twice in a row, and was questioned on it, and in answering the mere coincidence spewed out a long series of tirades about the sovereign duty of a special few who take on the mantle of voting; all remniscient of nationalistic behaviour and in my mind farcical. In concerns of the spelling incident of yesterday, it is again an example of my escalatory behaviour. In complimenting the round, which I genuinely thought was very enjoyable on all accounts, including and perhaps focusing on the Faithless' performance, I could not help but spot a molehill and make a mountain of it, again in a farcical, ridiculous manner. I would call it trolling, except I gain no enjoyment from rage; but rather desire only that people 'get' the in-joke of my purposefully deprecating and self-deprecating. More on this later. I would like to take this time to apologize to Bokaza, and to thank her for effectively bringing the primary issue with this pattern of my behaviour to my attention. If it were to end at that; mere idiosyncratic behaviour that sometimes rustles a few jimmies, I would be less than content, but not repulsed by my own behaviour. However, it is two observations that make me realize that this behaviour is more than deprecating, it is destructive. Firstly, which Bokaza has also brought to attention. This behaviour slips into IC, a terrible crime. Me, who so contemptuously glares at those who slip into LOOC, and even worse those who utilize paranthetical OOC over radio! Me, to allow OoC slip into IC. It has happened not purposefully, but most deceptively, to myself at least. The notion of 'high-rp' has always struck me as merely a synonym for elitism, a thing that I have had dreadful experience with, and fear in an almost religious manner. And while providing a backstory to my behaviour is ultimately inconsequential in the long run, I will say that it is the presence of elitism in roleplaying communities that has created this behavior. I cannot help but indiscriminately 'bring other players down a notch', as the phrase goes, including myself on many occasions, lest they become elitist. I admit that it is a flawed modus operandi, intentions be damned. Thus, this disdain for the notion of 'high-rp' itself is ultimately the reason that my OoC persona, deeply rooted against elitism, slips sometimes, perhaps often, into my IC personas. Bokaza, it was not you who broke my immersion, rather it was I who broke my immersion. Secondly, this behaviour clearly hurts people's feelings. After so long, so many months of roleplaying not just on this server, it becomes more and more obvious that it is only I who get the joke, only I who understands that my behaviour is farcical. Let it be said that I would not make a good comedian, because the whole point of my act is perpetuity, and there is no punchline. Previously, I stated that I was thankful that Bokaza brought this to my attention in a clear and compelling manner. If it were not for Bokaza, I would not have the initiative to respond to this complaint without being prompted to by the admins, because to be quite honest your primary complaint, Yesno, which is the vote-calling, is auxiliary to the truer problem. However, I cannot honestly say that it was Bokaza that made me aware of this behavior; in truth I have probably been aware of it for much longer than I've been on this server. I have grown old enough to become self-aware, I like to think, yet self-awareness amounts to nothing when there is no initiative to modify the objects you observe. Thus, I insist that my ultimate charge not be one of my 'asshole' behaviour, for this is merely the exoskeleton of my OoC persona, merely a layer peeled off of myself for the purpose of the internet. No, I think my ultimate crime is that I lack initiative, drive, and motivation to accomplish anything worth accomplishing, such as making a behaviour that is not caustic, even if that toxicity is not genuine in my eyes, but rather making a behavior that is genial and forthcoming. It is then, only naturally after serving as my own prosecutor, that I should declare myself guilty of the charges applied. For further citation that this behaviour has in truth been present throughout my existence as a roleplayer: My first(?) post on this forum, one that in my opinion summarizes my behaviour quite well; I start with a ridiculous in-joke, and defend this in-joke as if it were actual, taking seven whole pages of escalatory behavior to slowly peel away each layer of my farce, revealing the nature of it. http://aurorastation.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=894 I was going to bring up links from other roleplaying sites that further display this behaviour, but that would exceed the scope of this server, something that has been pressed against in player complaints. I unfortunately do not have in-game screenshots of this behaviour, in particular the one where Skull labelled my behavior aptly as escalatory, mainly because I don't document my games.

As your complaint about the train corridor has been addressed, Voltage, I will address your complaint about the nuyek op's coldness. It's not cold because it was never made cold; the atmosphere for it was never modified. I would presume to make the exterior naturally cold would be to modify the temperature of the air that spawns there; and rest assured this has been done before, once in Polar Station, and once more recently in Archangel Station.

Awesome looking and awesome looking.

I think the telescience terminal is /definitely/ DEFINITELY in need of some work. As a sometimes telescientist myself, not only does its no-risk make it very appealing to griffers and robbers, it makes it very boring for people who aren't in the two categories. Some RNG from RNGesus would be very much appreciated. Toxins, limb removal, etcetera sound good. Some other things to consider, especially for the robber portion, is that if an inanimate object goes through the telescience computer, it can have a chance to be deleted, ported randomly, or turned into something else (presumably less valuable). GPS could potentially have a much lower chance of this happening (But let us not exclude them!) Random mutations is also a good thing to consider. Really, a plethora of items could be attached, but I think challenge is a necessary addition to Telescience, and RNG is an easy and good way of adding this challenge.

Account with most money/account with least money. Number of people gibbed. Number of clones.

You could quite literally make the chapel either one column of tiles smaller, or one tile of columns larger to fix the issue. I fail to see how that would affect everything in the local area massively.

Also, the fact that the altar is anything other than 3x2 or 3x1. . . The priest always standing to the left or right of the centre. . . ggrrr

Reporting Personnel: Ohm Rank of Reporting Personnel: Forensic Technician Personnel Involved: Mason Shafer, Unknown Skrell Personnel Time of Incident: Location of Incident: Departure Shuttle Docking Bay Nature of Incident: []Workplace Hazard []Accident/Injury []Destruction of Property [X]Neglect of Duty []Harassment [X]Assault [X]Misconduct []Other Overview of the Incident: As the escape shuttle was arriving due to ex-tenuous circumstances, a number of officers who had neglected to return their EVA gear and laser rifles to the warden post-defeat of blob oversaw the mob amassing at the departure lounge. One Skrell, for unknown reasons, ran at one of the officers, one Mason Shafer, attempting to disarm him. The Skrellian was completely unarmed, and posed no lethal threat. However, despite this, Mason Shafer pushed the Skrellian away, and instead of handcuffing or otherwise detaining, shot at them multiple times with a lethal energy laser, critically wounding them, forcing medical staff to drag her away in haste. The security officer, in firing at the Skrellian, hit at least one civilian in the crossfire, a medical doctor. Did you report it to a Head of Staff or IAA? If so, who?: No. Additional notes:

No, he can't. However, muting OoC everytime Nuke is voted is really just not a good idea.

Literally anything to do with AI/cyborgs. They're so often ignored.
