  1. If it was the one where CC sent three important faxes to the wardens office , then yes , i was the warden that round
  2. LSD isn't something to get excited about. Nor are space drugs. Adding meth or krokidil like on tg station would add an interesting aspect to the game
  3. Change it to..... Mutiny , yeah. By the way , if we're changing it to something like mutiny loyalists have to start RPing
  4. We are on a research station here. His would be more applicable for a civilian station tbh. Glory to NT
  5. Ever rolled chemist traitor ? Ever wanted some drugs ? Well here's you chance to SHINE. Marijuana Kit- orderable from the uplink - 1 TC Able to grow some weed , provided you can water the plant and give it light Cocaine kit 2 TCs - contains everything needed for cocaine , from growing the cocoa beans using accelerated growth chemicals and making it into that fine powder Mobile meth lab - 4 TCs Ever wanted to be Walter white ? Now we have the mobile meth lab with restocking equipment for only 1 TC each (one 'batch' contains 300 units of meth) There could be other things , such as being able to roll blunts with paper That's all I have for now , coming at you soon
  6. Realism over escape Chances. Why dock it at arrivals when you have a perfectly good dock at security ?
  7. Damn right he is , no fucks are given. Also , it would be easy to keep it maintained; no one would have a Damn Medal of Honor exposed to things that could rust/decay it. (Unless worn for Veterans Day and such). Then again , I could have it downgraded to a Purple Heart , because Medal of Honors centuries in the future would be valuable as fuck and rare
  8. BYOND Key: Outboarduniform Character name: Juan Siganto Item name: Congressional Medal of Honor Why is your character carrying said item to work? in 1942 , one of his ancestors got the congressional Medal of Honor after charging a Japanese position in Guadacanal. He died during the charge when a Japanese infantrymen shot him from an entrenched position. His comrades later took the position a few days afterward. He uses this to remind himself of the sacrifice his ancestor is made to the USA , and how he must sacrifice himself for the company. Item function(s): just a medal Item description: A congressional Medal of Honor from the United States of America. A tag that hangs off of it reads "Jose Siganto , 1st marines. Ready to fight , and paving the way" it has the signatures of some of his platoon members , fainted and old. Item appearance: add in the Medal of Honor captain used to have except with a different description. Also Sprite in a small tag taped on the bottom of it Additional comments: shouldn't be too hard to code
  9. I think it would need a warrant , detectives can't bug people 4noraisans. Imagine how pissed someone would be if they found out the detective was spying on them for a chance to valid salad without cause or suspicion
  10. So , i usually play as the warden. The reasons we straight jacket someone and put them into solitary usually falls into what they do in the brig. Are you blinding officers with some magical spray ? You're getting a fucking straight jacket. Blinding officers with apparent cybernetic eyes ? Straight jacket. The list goes on and on , including wizards. Usually I don't like using them but if the person in question is being an unbearable shitler I'm forced to do it
  11. >be me >paramedic >need fire axe because someone is dying in science and we have no AI and limited research team. >they're unable to give me access >fireaxe is only way >ask engineer >engineer says to fuck off >RIP scientist
  12. I've been inactive for a week or so now, but there's still on thing that always pisses me off Wardens office doesn't have a requests console. For fucks sake man , I don't have time to walk into briefing just to print out an implant record Chemistry requests console: same as warden , more convienient than walking halfway through medical for a damn prescription form There might be more to add but as of now that is it
  13. Oxygen candles are a must. Maybe have one or two of them in your box ? like , say mcchucklefuck McGee the traitor atmos tech or the rogue AI vents somewhere , just light one of these for oxygen and give yourself extra time in an emergency.
  14. I saw this as a warden and I aware I almost told the HoS the chaplain was a cultist worshipping pizza
  15. Alright motherfuckers , either you're a new Warden or Officer who wishes to manage the magnificent brig and keep those dirty criminals in line. We'll start with the absolute basics then end with paperwork so on and so forth. Get it ? Good. How to process and brig prisoners correctly Now , there are 3 steps to brigging a suspect , some of which are only applicable for certain crimes Step 1: processing Processing a prisoner or suspect is extremely easy and simple to do. Provided you have basic training in prison management , even then it's really fucking simple. I've seen officers fuck this step up , which is surprising and disturbing. You cuff them to one of the chairs , update their records on the crimes they have committed , then search their coat , pockets , and backpack (including the emergency oxygen box). Now , if you find a knife or gun (pray you don't find a gun) or anything related , add contraband to the list of charges and update the records. This leads to step 2 Step 2: questioning This will only ever be needed for murders , manslaughter , violent crimes and for solving crimes using witnesses and the like. Feel free to skip for insignificant and unneeded criminals , and proceed to step 3 Step 3: Brigging This is where you ACTUALLY begin to brig them. If their sentence is over 15 , strip them completely and put them in prison garb. If it's less than 15 or exactly at 15 minutes , leave them with items you deem acceptable and safe in a prison environment. If their sentence is less than 10 , do not allow them communal access. Remember to close the communal access blast door once they're released , or someone WILL walk out. They may be prisoners and criminals but that doesn't mean they're stupid. Now that that is finished let's move on to the finesse aspects. HUT and prisoner management Now , with that simple aspect out of the way for you chucklefucks , we move on to these dirty terrorists. HUT means that they've accumulated over 60 minutes of brig time or have committed a horrible awful crime and need to be held than transferred to the proper authorities. These are the violent ones , and this is where solitary and such come into play. Let's divulge into the most simple aspects now. Aggressive prisoners and what to do with them First off , if one of them has been mopping up everything walk when you enter communal. Honestly. Don't run you fucking dumbass. If prisoners are breaking shit or they're starting fights , take their ass to solitary for the remainder of their stay at casa brig. If there's one huge motherfucking riot use flashbangs , if that doesn't work , use your handy gas , and if THAT doesn't work start shooting into them. Prison riots are pretty rare , so don't worry about 'em. When entering an area to subdue a prisoner , enter without a weapon out. Officers who walk into solitary cells with their batons out get beaten to death , that is no joke. Use flashes , they are the most reliable weapon you have to subdue them besides your energy pistol. Paperwork this is the list of paperwork regarding prisoners. Armory requests and other forms have no correlation with prisoner management Implantation record - for when you implant a prisoner with a tracking implant and similar Incarnation Confirmation - needed for HUT prisoners Case Reports - for cases about murders and terrorists , send these to CC after filling them out. Confession Form - for when someone wants to confess for their crimes That's all I can think of at the top of my head , I'll upload this to the NT security network for you assholes. Warden Siganto - out
  16. i'm neutral on this. I usually play as Juan Siganto , the warden , and i've seen some shity and incompetent officers. from entering a solitary cell with a stun baton on and out and getting their asses handed to them and officers who beat and curbstomp prisoners , i've seen the good and the bad. honestly , i feel that a whitelist could be acceptable for certain sensitive jobs in security , but not all of them. Halymrrdynh ( i think thats how you spell it) the cadet , has been going at it for almost a month and been better than some officer , sadly. i'm still neutral on having whitelists , because whitelisting engineering while have a massive drop in players in the department
  17. Security Sergeant perhaps ? also , if you're adding senior researchers , you'll need junior researchers
  18. +1 10/10 would be declared insane again You're a good psychiatrist , and have even been promoted as acting head of staff , so that's a thing
  19. BYOND key: Outboarduniform Character names: Cameron Howe , John Brandy , Juan Siganto , Ernesto Rafael How long have you been playing on Aurora?: Around a year Why do you wish to be on the whitelist?: because i've always wanted the privilege of being a head of staff on the Aurora Why did you come to Aurora?: I started on Aurora because Hypatia was starting to overflow with snowflakes and UT banned me for bullshit reasons Have you read the BS12 wiki on the head roles you plan on playing?: Yes Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph each. Give a definition of what you think roleplay is, and should be about: Roleplay , in it's essence , is attempting (and succeeding) at imitating your character's thoughts and actions. Roleplaying is attempting to divulge into the mind of your character , almost as if trying to actually BE them. It is essentially , attempting to be another person. Of course , there are some fuck-ups now and then , but most of them can be dismissed. What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?: Provide stability and order for their department. Commanding or leading your team/department with expert knowledge. Provide a medium for when things go horribly , horribly wrong. Also , call for Evacuation , ERT , and in general helping provide good RP. Additionally , they serve to put certain people in line when they become rowdy/refuse to do their job , etc. , etc. What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?: the responsibilities of a whitelisted player is to uphold their race (or job as a head of staff) , be proficient in their field of work , and most importantly , keeping your Department up and running smoothly like a well oiled machine. Another responsibility of a whitelisted player is to provide some sort of stability when shit hits the fan. an example of this would be knowing what to do when people are screaming at you at all different directions to call for an evac or ERT. To uphold such things are a simple matter: RP as a responsible head of staff ( Who NanoTrasen entrusts in leading a certain department) , and keep a level head (NanoTrasen wouldn't hire a head of staff who was a panic attack anytime something goes wrong). Please pick one of your characters for this section, and provide well articulated responses to the following questions. Character name: Juan Siganto Character age: 35 Please provide a short biography of this character (approx 2 paragraphs): Juan Siganto was born in a relatively wealthy family in terms of housing and wealth. He was considered a 'middle-class citizen' , so to speak. He was born in the city of Olympia , on June 11th 2422. He attended Johnson's elementary school , where he was considered a 'Top Class Student' by many of his teachers. after finishing the 5th grade , he moved on to Mandela Middle School , where he was top of his class , and was the Tight End of the football team. After their team made it to planetary finals , he tore a ligament and was unable to compete. The team managed to win the finals , and now has a trophy with everyone on the team's name on it who participated - Excluding Siganto. After the 8th grade , he quit football and became more interested with Academics - Signing up for forensics , biology , and other classes at his New School - Browns high school. He was still a 'Grade A student' - but was involved in a legal affair that almost got them years in Sol Alliance prison. During the 12th grade - May 4th , 2440 , he was almost arrested for Possession and distribution of illegal Drugs - the charge was dropped due to insufficient evidence. After graduating high school with a Cum Laude , he was offered a scholarship to Evans University in Forensics - which he took up on. He graduated with his Bachelor's degree on May 30th , 2444 , with Magna Cum Laude , and never went back for a master's degree. He took up interest in NanoTrasen and was employed on the NSS Springer in the Asteroid Belt as a Forensic Technician. After 2 years of experience and no major events , he was given clearance as a security officer , and requested transfer to the NSS Potomac - near Pluto. Only one major experience happened there - where a Chief Medical Officer by the name of Ronald Haynes managed to smuggle a revolver on board , and went on a killing spree - 5 dead , 3 injured. Siganto shot them dead with a lethal round , and they were morgued with a DNC notice. After having 5 more years of experience , he was Promoted to Warden , and requested transfer to the NSS Aurora - His transfer was Approved. As of today , Siganto is qualified to be an official head of security on station , and is pending board review on whether the promotion should be given to him or not. What do you like about this character?: quick on the trigger , knows when to raise the alarm. knows when and when not to use lethal and non-lethal force (pretty important with the mall cops we have running around now) What do you dislike about this character?: has the tendency to break prisoner's kneecaps if they assault an officer in Communal or Solitary. Also loves paperwork , which i mean....my god paperwork slows shit down. What do you think makes this character fit to be a head of staff?: his quick thinking , knowledge of space law , almost strict adherence to procedure , and ability to manage the brig and security. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions. How would you rate your own roleplaying?: 7/10 Extra notes: I was too lazy to write about contract/Psychological Evaluations and interviews and such
  20. Well , coming from one of your few competent officers , I welcome someone like price that can get shit done and not fuck up and panic like every other mall cop. Btw , I know deep inside siganto is prices favorite officer.
  21. BYOND Key: Outboarduniform Player Byond Key: Unknown Staff involved: I ahelped and a mod/admin said they were going to deal with it but I forgot their name Reason for complaint: Torturing prisoners like they're in Guantamino Bay. Me , and 2 other players were prisoners after a short and shitty gimmick gone wrong. Captain and HoS decided to torture us for some unfathomable idea. They ended up almost being arrested. I'm more concerned about the failure to RP as a whitelisted head than anything else. Honestly , what makes you think you can torture people , even non-crew ? Its surprising that the captain of all people tortured people. Not only that , but I think they were considering accepting a bribe. Approximate Date/Time: (The date and time of the incident. Date is more important but both are helpful) Around Friday/Saturday 7:00ish 16/17/19 March (not completely sure)
  22. Now , I'm just going to list the two reasons why i want another one added for security 1. Every officer (4 shift start) can have their own suit 2. I'm starting to get super salty about how there's one unathi in security that always snags it before anyone can blink. Thank you , and that is all
  23. plz add in goon changeling features
  24. basically , just pick a religion like christ/buddhism and stay away from the religions that are more 'cult-oriented' per say. understand that and you'll be fine. Butttt , i might be wrong with that
  25. i find this quite interesting , as i've seen many a few doctors say fuck it with certain antags (vampires will always be pieces of shit lets be honest) , but does that give medical the right to just leave them at a scene , bleeding to death ? something to think about.
