  3. I would rather add a button that allows staff members to force a ssd AI into the storage.
  4. Also, take in mind that the following was always part of the rules:
  5. As a security player that had to deal with this characters some times, I could say this is not the first time we had to use lethal force to stop them as a non-antag from doing similar things.
  6. http://forums.aurorastation.org/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=6425 If you had a custom item already in old code, it is not really necessary to apply again.
  7. Those are holoparasites: https://tgstation13.org/wiki/Holoparasite They are pretty much summons controlled by other players linked to the host's body.
  8. Lasers, at the latest bay version, deal bloodloss on the top of the burn, which would make more sense than damaging the organs itself, since the heat and etc. I also believe we could explore this.
  9. Alright, I did bring your appeal in discussion with the staff several times, and the general consensus is that you had enough chances and the best that could be done is you to learn with all of this and walk foward. So, we are leaning more towards denying it, but, still I will leave it open for more time if we change our final decision or if you wish to convince us of otherwise.
  10. Item done and added to the code, you should be able to spawn with it now.

  15. Both borer and meme gamemodes were worked on by our devs, while borer may be possible, meme is not fully finished and only possible to exist due to admin bus, since it uses a rudimentary transformation method.
  16. {{Citation needed}} Also, it is clear in the rules that a ban can be used as the next step in the punishment escale if a warning don't suffice. Besides, day bans are really uncommon in comparison to others. You doing something else somewhere else was nothing to do with this ban, but, just the obvious fact you did ignore a what the staff told you to don't do.
  17. Ban has expired, moving request to archives.
  18. Ban has already expired.
  19. No, the proposal is to only enable combat borgs in regular situation after two heads of staff use the swipping device, like maintenance access, coupled with code red.
  20. No, malf AI and admins can set up the security level to delta without enabling the nuke or auto-destruction protocol.
  21. Combat borgs are also enacted during code delta, if we add this change, code delta would just ignore the swipping check.
  22. BYOND Key: Alberyk Character name: Sslazhir Yinzr Item name: Marching Sandals Why is your character carrying said item to work? They are much hardened sandals designed to fill the same purpose of jackboots, but adapted to deal with the clear limitation of unathi when wearing shoes, since they are limited to sandals, which are clearly not the best option for security work, or toeless jackboots that makes little sense. And since Yinzr works as a security officer, and that requires a lot of patrolling, walking around and running after crewmembers, it would make sense for him to bring some native, and traditional, foot-wear that would allow him to do his duties without troubles to his clawed feet. Item function(s): They work like jackboots, security foot-gear. Item description: A pair of sturdy marching sandals made of layers of leather and with a reinforced sole, they are also rather big. Item appearance: A pair of leather sandals, they cover most of someone’s feet, like jackboots do. How will you use this to better interact with crew and/or stimulate RP? Like sandals or toeless jackboots, those would be a clear xeno oriented foot-wear. They would reinforce the limitations and physical differences of the unathi species. Besides showing some of the user background and related job, mostly by being foot-wear related to its home world, culture and job on station. Additional comments: By the way, this item is loosely based on the roman marching boots, even if they were similar to sandals, but not really sandals.
  23. No, combat cyborgs don't have stun, besides a flash, on purpose. And as people said, they should not be killing crew with the NanoTrasen lawset. I have no intent of adding any stun or restraining module to them. Besides, this is not a thread to discuss their tools or anything, they are fully balanced for several other reasons. Anyway, I also think that is a good idea, and I may try to implement, allowing command to enable them with the keycard, because I had several issue of borgs just rushing to this module and ignoring other issues they could help with.
  24. Most of the posters in game are a heritage of baystation 12 culture and lore, and since the focus of new code is returning more to our roots and, mostly by replacing small details like renaming galatic common back to ceti basic, the staff had the idea of creating unique aurora posters, more fitting to our setting and community as whole. Via this thread, I would like to gather ideas for posters to replace the actual ones we find in game. Sprites are also welcome.
  25. Write in blood was never removed, just bugged, and that is being fixed in the next update. Also, I don't really know if it is a good idea at all due to the possibility of people metagaming around. And I don't think this should be avaible from the custom loadout, there is little place, besides maybe to the chaplain, that would make sense for one of those in the station.
