What sort of information do you posses that Frances doesn't have access too?! ok, i can see two responses, since the involved parties are the skype group i'm a part of and the staff (i'm excluding everyone else afflicted because Frances would fit inside them then). So you either got "super sekrit insider staff info" which i can assure you, isn't real because literally everything was said on the forums, or maybe in the brief time that you joined our group and talked shit about staff/becoming Aurora's god emperor you managed to glimpse at our sekrit ERP databases and have ben given major groundbreaking insight into the situation that Frances cannot attain. But neither of those are true. You are just so full of s*it that it's not even funny, i admit i have chuckled throughout this thread somewhat but this genuinly pissed me off. I strongly desire elaboration on this as it simply does not make sense to me as of yet, seeing as all information you might have would be accesible to Frances aswell, and you are not an involved party either. The argument that Frances is a third party that has no clue as to what's actually happening, but you are is quite possibly the stupidest fucking thing i have read in all of these threads. Not only that but Frances actually went out of her way to talk to staff and Cassy and what not. Like, what drove you to type that, please for the love of christ tell me that was bad word choice before i get an aneurysm. Further, i would like it to be known Frances has tried to garner more information and it further solidifies my confusion as to what information that Frances doesn't you posses. Chaz's issue is the very personal reasons behind the ban being put in place, as opposed to Frances, who was concerned over the ERP sharing. It is still very hard to justify what the staff did as non metagrudge, for a number of factors, primarly being one of blaming Cassy for her militant attidude. But I firmly believe i share her attitude by now, i can easily be called Militant in the eyes of the staff. Rec is at least 2 Cassy's by now. Chaz is, too.militant, in fact, is a title easy to attach to anyone with an argument. So, if bans are put in place for militant attitudes, then isn't this just gonna leave people with a server who just shove everything under the rug? Frances is out, I was never even in, the only person here still trying to make a difference is Chaz. So closing the discussion with Chaz would be much more productive then locking the fucking thread maybe. Chaz is trying to help, and contrary to your belief, /no/, closing down a discussion is not how you solve anything. It's just annoying. You, and a bunch of others think that nothing more can be done on this issue, and you're ACTUALLY RIGHT. Nothing is gonna bring Cassy back. Now about such things happening in the future? That's what Chaz has a problem here. That's the thing you all seem to miss. That's also why he repeats that this should be resolved /now/. NOT CASSY'S CASE, THE CASE IN GENERAL. Ok, i am officially too confused and bored to continue the ongoing debate here. Skull, if i get what you're saying (and it's so hard to understand you that i might not be), then you're dividing your personal opinion and your admin decisions apart, but your opinion is same as Doom's and you think Cassy has been the problem child for months now, and totally deserved to be banned. But as an admin you think she shouldn't have been banned. BUT now you state you will re-apply the ban (with a forum one) to her if she persists having your definiton of a militant mindset, even though as an admin, you unbanned her because of your self admitted poor, poor choices, choices which you still say are personally correct. So you're unbanning her but you think her ban was totally justified, because in your opinion she is the definition of "militant". So...fucking, god damn! LIKE, FUCK, on one end you say that you were personally justified to do what you did and will re-ban Cassy if she continues being Cassy But on the other end as an admin you admit you did a bad course of judgment? What an utterly disappointing conclusion... @ Skull)So, tl;dr you agree with Doomberg completely, think Cassy is the worst and made a "bad environment", and you go back on your word, now only being displeased with the way you handed the ban rather then the ban itself. For what does the gesture of unbaning her even stand for? Just to silence us? It certainly isn't admission of guilt, or because you now see that she didn't deserve it. Hell, now there's forum ban threats and vague "militant mindset" bans to be handed out, ironically you and Doomberg being the biggest militants here with your riot helmets and iron clad boots. But i feel that this discussion is dying down, the staff's badminning is out in the open for everyone to mock, and people are just sort of evidently giving up on you, or realizing they never should have even tried. i can only add my thoughts, if you really mean the "Hands were stuck where hands probably shouldn't have been stuck" bit, maybe announce the fact that out of server conduct shouldn't warrant a permaban and unban Cassy, if only for the gesture. The present case seems to be that Cassy was banned for two reasons, the ERP logs and whatever Doombergs problem with her is. Neither really warranted a permaban. Optionally it would be really good to see an apology from Doomberg, or at least some acknowledgment, or anything to not make him look like the worst Again, this is personal opinion of myself

ok, phew, Josh, no one in the group (except Delta) wanted to overthrow the server. All of us actually just went and found another server to play at. No one even wanted, or wants, to be /back/ to the server, let alone take it over. What are you even basing this on? I want to call this out on being like, stupid, but it's not, it's more insane. Couldn't you make a menu and just use an EFTPOS scanner? Maye keep the food in the back inside of a locker so it doesn't get stolen? Wouldn't this be better seeing as you can now also RP pizza delivery service and charge people who wanted pizza on the asteroid or anywhere else besides the vending machine? And maybe haggle for prices instead of it being hardwired into a vending machine?

I want more Diona, and darn gosh i like the sound of this one. And i'm sure Jboy can pull it off, i rememeber talking to him as Alisa Keener a little and he held himself quite exceptionally, one of those conversations that sticked with me, nothing special. I also enjoyed his character Rozhad, who is a good replacment for Runtime. I don't really see any problems with the character or the player

For me it was drawing from the start that i wanted to learn. I still catch myself a lot doing things or playing games and thinking i should be drawing instead. Didn't people make fun of every single religion here, including christianity, satanism, buddism, muslim faiths, and so on? Also, what makes command better then average players, except having multiple complaints made against them for every round they aren't perfect until they don't feel like playing command anymore? And also, if this was powergaming by direwolf, shouldn't all of command be stripped of their whitelist? they all made the plan. you know what would be way better then stripping a person's whitelist for /maybe/ potentially making a joke? what if we just ask her to change the name? As far as powergaming went, if this was written by the antagonist, maybe i would have taken it more seriously, as is, this seems like standard security shenanigans to me.

Hey, don't worry bout genders, i don't thinm anyone here cares that much. Now, as far as your character goes, i can see you have a fairly concrete idea of what your character is like and a developed past and whatnot. And it seems to me you'll give a refreshingly disturbing kind of RP that you genuinely generally don't see. An aspect of Unathi culture that, at least I, find really, really unpleasant. Not to say that that's bad because afterall, i play this game for the feels. I'm not sure if that's the intent you want to show across with Sai, but i mean, god damn. A character that's nice and sweet being married to a seven foot tall guy that beat the fuck out of her for sport to the point where she was crying and screaming on the floor and /needed surgery/. And then after she lied to her family about how she was hurt, Attimus in a way bought her from her father in typical savage Unathi fashion(all of which he probably wouldn't have done if Sai was male),but then also went ahead and fucked other women onboard Aurora. not the most romantic thing i heard. If you /really/ hate drama, holy shit are you bound to get drama, hell, Attimus is fascinating in how much drama he got into in so little time i saw of him in general. But i won't care if you decide either way, Sai looks unique, albeit depends if it's for the reasons you want her to be

i was the one that asked that, and i think i have a unique enough perspective on this and i'd like to share it. Simply put, Xander plays his characters the way he likes them. There's not a lot of diversity on the surface because they are all rich, all important, and all are kind of snobs. what i mean by that is that all of them commit some relatively snobby things in order to get a feeling of importance and them being significant across. And i myself don't really know a way to get that across without the snobby feeling, but i think captain Elena is a good example of it being done right. Xander's characters lack the gravitas that she does. Xander's characters all have to tell people they are in power, and then punish them if they don't take it seriously. Elena was chosen for example because she comes across as being important and respected without ever having the need to say so to people. For example i remember recently i think one of Xander's characters tried to demote someone for walking away from him as HoS, and let's not forget commander faggot, which was all sparked by a lack of respect and Niklaus demoting/brigging half the security force. This and telling people that they're above them is a trait shared by multiple characters Xander has. It's not a matter of how much they differ in their backgrounds but in the way they act. And i think the more common traits are exposed more often then whatever Xander is doing differently with the characters. Like making Emma good and Niklaus a coward, and so on (particualrly when it contradicts itself like when Niklaus, who is supposed to be a coward HoS, does really heroic deeds and also is very proactive in punishing his subordinates). My experiances with Emma as James have been nothing but her being a dick, the only reason why i am getting good RP out of it is because my character has a thing for that. but i mean, first thing that happens when i see Emma is she tells me she's all over the news,Then questions why i'm younger then corporate ruling states. Then invites over another employee later and asks them why they're so young, shoo'ing a fellow agent away as I whisper words of encouragment into the poor young employee's ears. The next time we're together she goes behind my back and pages CC about my age, getting a response that she's in charge of me until they review my credentials. When they tell her i'm cleared as an entry-level IAA she says ""Be sure to consult me during your investigations, since you are an Entry-Level Agent". She goes on to lecture me about how to organise stuff in the office and wonder at how amazingly unorganized James is, who granted, is rarely inside the office at all. THEN when Roy gets inside the office by pushing me aside she clocks him in the face and gets arrested (there was a reason for this, that i didn't question further into though), despite me wanting to avoid any arrests happening, by insisting they both go to jail. this by no measure made me see Emma as being "nice", quite the opposite, it made me think she's a complete power hungry bitch, which is also why she provided good RP for my submissive, chaotic IAA. So while i'm not saying it's all that bad, it's still true that his characters are kind of played the same way despite the backgrounds being as they are. To summerize, Xander's characters come across as they do because Xander wants them to be important, and if Xander is really offended by people finding them similar, then his further characters don't even need to be poor, or not aristocrats, the only thing that would need to change for them to be regarded differently is a less in-your-face imposing important person attitude oh, and regarding that statment "i'm all over the news", it was kind of justified seeing as i should have known her because Niklaus previously talked about her/showed me the video while working with me as IAA, so i don't blame him in the slightest
