  1. If you want me to cut it out with the whole 'Suicidal space lesbian' saying, Just give me the word. If it's bothering you that much, Just say so. I'm not saying the whole homosexuality thing is bad, But if you want the whole 'Space lesbians' things to stop being used. Just tell me.
  2. BYOND Key: Filthyfrankster Player Byond Key: Technokat, Callum, Draculabot Staff involved: None. Reason for complaint: A more general complaint about a small group of characters, Rivette, Lauren Blade and McGrath. All of which, seem to be nothing but a general pain in the ass to the station, One of the issues is Rivette seems to be an easily suicidal prone crew member, Who's general mental history would be a un-acceptable onboard an expensive research station. Blade/Technokat, Is known for their hostility and aggressive attitude, Being it harming security officers after she's been brigged for only 10 minutes BY SLAMMING THEIR HEAD INTO THE WALL UNTIL THE OFFICER IS IN CRIT AND HAS BRAIN DAMAGE UP THE ASS, Continuing to instigate arguments in general comms wither Rivette and McGrath, causing a general man-hunt from security to happen almost EVERY time. Which would have people thinking she is unfit for employment and being constantly a threat to the crew. She attempts to abuse mechanics by sliding a welding mask over her face when she's being chased by security to avoid being flashed and arrested. Which leads to an escalation of force. If you want this cute suicidal space lesbian drama triangle that you have, That's fine. When you start to drag security and other crew into the matter over this, It starts becoming a pain in the ass for everyone to deal with. Approximate Date/Time: 6/5/2015, 10PM PST
  3. To add a last comment to this I was the guy in the EVA suit hunting carp, Literally. I come back from an AFK, Get handed a laser rifle, an EVA suit for unathi and be told to kill some fukken carp. Just me, lone survivor. I encountered no nuke ops in space, Just carp. Lots of carp, once I heard reports of armed hostiles in the station, I found the nuke ops entry point by the bridge then all this shit occurred.
  4. I would like to note that TechnoKat/Lauren Blade is notorious for their self-antagging habits as a non-antag. Which usually range from almost murdering an officer while she was brigged for.. Roughly 5~ minutes, In after un-cuffing her, She grabbed onto the officers head and SLAMMED it into the wall until said officer was in crit, basically killing them and giving them brain damage beyond all fuckery. Even times where she committed a little crime spree as a non-antag, which resulted in her being straight jacketed for being a threat to security and the station itself. Who also made a few rude comments in OOC for being detained/straightjacketed/muzzled after calling the head of security/warden a bitch. (Quite a few people have an issue with their IC actions.) In short, Lauren is a huge liability to the company and SHOULD be fired. For this incident, isn't there anything against killing non-targets/non-threats to your own objectives? If the statements they made were true, this could be just them going a 'Lolkillingspree' which is not very fucking cool. As for the tajara, Grabbing, repeatedly slamming their head on the wall while running away is quite the gank.
  5. I suppose this can come down to a case of minor misinformation. I wasn't ever briefed on the suspect before hand once I arrived late into the shift, and I'm rather good friends with Officer Yinzr and we constantly patrol from time to time, even having our differences. If it helps with anything, I'll rake a few courses in security management and class to help... Improve my proper use of force during these situations.
  6. Yes Hi, I was Zoob during this round. The shift began when a PAI decided to host some sort of voting system to fill command staff positions, Really no one was falling for it and it decided to be a pain in the ass and demanded people get fired for already being in that position (Who allowed the PAI to do that is a dummy) We just shrugged it off and continued, but after explosions started to go off and nuke ops went nuking, The PAI continued to be a pain in the ass, and after getting trapped in maintenance with Hycinth, we were dying from pressure and saw a cyborg escorting the now 'HoP PAI', and after we barely escaped from the death zone, the cyborg and PAI followed. The PAI went into mobile form and started crawling around, being pissed off from it already, I swiped it and wiped it. Hycinth went into the EVA area to get a breecher suit, and I saw the bolts lock down. Suspecting the cyborg locked in her for assisting me killing the PAI HoP
  7. Counter report from the desk of Akenzua I'm unable to remember much during all of this, account due to being beaten by the head of security in the torso during the shuttle transport back home. I came onboard the station and overhearing the presence of a non-crew intruder, reading more of it after looking through the reports after I was released from custody. They were some sort of mystical being that presented magical powers. All I could see of those powers? Creating smoke and being a nuisance to everyone in the departures lounge. After witnessing the handcuffed suspect breaking out of the officers grasp, I took it upon myself to pepperspray them until they were retrieved by the others. Yes, I do admit I went overboard. Though, the suspect was considered non-crew according to things and thus has not much protection. Considering the suspect was still shouting words in an attempt to summon their magical arts and creating smoke that blinded everyone and made a few have a rather annoying coughing it, if you consider this worse than harmbatoning a prisoner in their own cell as I witnessed on other shifts or even officers having inner-conflict battles. (I'd prefer not to say any names.). Then you are a failure of a command officer. The officer incharge of the prisoner seemed unfit in their duty to restrain and isolate. So it was in my best interest to make sure the individual never escaped once they first broke free of their handler. During the whole issue, one officer decided to toss a FLASH GRENADE in the middle of the departure lounge, blinding and deafening a number of security and civilian personal. Were they dealt with? No. I came to my own defense after the head of security attempted to arrest me. Not even allowing me to explain myself before sicking Beepsky on eachother. I'm also detecting a bit of racism, Your words hint at a distrust that all unathi are violent individuals, or were you charmed by the female suspect? Do try to include details like mine next time you file a report against me. I'm an officer of the law, just like anyone else. We all make mistakes at times.
  8. Most robust catbeast onboard the station makes a unathi? This will be good. If they can play tajara, human and AI well. They can no doubt play unathi. +1
  9. Reporting Personnel: Zubari Akenzua Rank of Reporting Personnel: Security officer Personnel Involved: (Anyone involved in the incident and their rank at the time of the incident) Daja Hakima'bar Time of Incident: Location of Incident: The station in general Nature of Incident: [X]Workplace Hazard []Accident/Injury []Destruction of Property [X]Neglect of Duty [X]Harassment [X]Assault [X]Misconduct []Other _____ Overview of the Incident: Daja in my experience, is an overall threat to the crew and a failure of most the jobs she manages to take up with an employment record and attitude of hers. She suffers by numerous fits of uncontrollable rage, either it be attacking the crew, THREATENING or displaying good examples of being nonprofessional. It's backed by the fact she has her 'Gang' of tajara that always rushes to her aid upon being arrested and detained after she 'Yowls' into the communication channel. Having witnessing her not do her slack of engineering work, she decided to take up security. My only question is , How and why? To avoid being arrested? How do you let her get away with these things? One day while patrolling. Her and another security officer were caught playing 'Laser tag', the noises sounding just like actual laser fire and causing a panic in medical bay. After that, she proceeded to harass medical staff over a 'Mouse', threatening that she WILL get a warrant and go back in there. After that, she was last seen in the holodeck preparing for a mouse fight. Did you report it to a Head of Staff or IAA? If so, who?: None. No one seemed to care. Additional notes:
  10. Polite is a huge understatement (I kid) Don't think he's a pure pacifist. On a past server I played him on, He was in a bit more of a detective field, Due to the 'SNAZZY' uniforms, technology he had to work with and the fact he wasn't directly involved in any violent situations unless it was brought to him first. So. He'll be working a bit of CSI/Detective and RARELY any security once I get his employment records finished up and pushed out the door. (I find working actual security a pain in the ass, even if the community feels great and accepting.) Zubari is a total sucker for cop shows/CHEESY FILM NOIR genre holomovies. So those have a major influence along with his first job while adjusting to things on Mars.
  11. BYOND Key: Filthyfrankster Character Names: Zubari Akenzua How long have you been playing on Aurora: Less than a week. Extended play time is guaranteed. Species you are applying to play: Unathi. What color do you plan on making your first alien character (Dionaea & IPCs exempt): Dark red. (If you don't count a bit of self-painted white scales of his.) Have you read our lore section's page on this species?: Yes. Quite a bit of difference from the baylore version of the Unathi lore, but the Aurora version is what I will visit with any future questions about their backstory, not to mention it's very attention to detail and answers burning thoughts and questions I had about the race. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question Why do you wish to play this specific race: The unathi lore can be considered standard for any xeno race in this type of setting. But what really appeals to me is the details about the specie itself. A battle hardened, majority come from an un-forgiving environment and culture. Not being able to quite ignore a seven foot tall reptilian humanoid walking into the room full of humans, which had me interested in the race after reading much more into their backstory. Each Unathi having a different few of the other species they communicate with and the tales from their previous experiences, how they speak and react to situations with aggression. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: Humans can be quite interesting if played right, along with any other species. Unathi have a interesting build to them, being a majority of the tallest among the crew onboard a space station and definitely the most strongest. Dealing with anyone who looks at them with suspicion and doubt due to their home planet, past actions and way of life. Defending their pride and honor and willing to escalate to violence to defend it if anyone ever dared challenged them. Any other of the kin who look away from their culture being considered exiles and looked down upon by their own kind. Character Name: Zubari Akenzua Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs A hatchling to a rather abundant family. Zubari seemed to have a difficult time adjusting to his fellow kin and the life on Moghes, save for a sister or two that had a respect for him. Failing to understand the purpose of remaining on the home planet. His parents, brothers and sisters seeming determined on living out the rest of their lives in the wasteland. Having other interests in mind, he began to think about a different approach to his life. Being entranced by merchants, traders or anyone of wealth that he ever encountered. Still holding onto what he understood from the culture of his species and the past way of life as he aged along with the rest of his kindred until he was of a considerable adult age. Having being interested in gaining wealth and seeking to make a fortune, he was persuaded enough with an offer to come and work for a cargo company on Mars. This was a start. Life on a more civilized planet was quite the change to accustom to, being thrown into Olympia as he learned more about the common language in his traveling. The job was simple, work security for a minor export company, and making sure situations do not escalate or the company property was not stolen by any un-wanted perpetrators. The security field seeming to be his calling due to his species size and past violent history on Moghes. Employers and fellow coworkers considering him a 'natural' at the job. While Zubari tried to adapt to the majority human culture outside of his home. Paycheck and other methods of earning credits through gambling after learning the basics of the un-healthy and addicting hobby, encountering a fellow unathi,Kir, and understanding eachothers situations and learning about her story. He offered to bring her under his arms, considering her family and allowing the use of his clan name for her. What do you like about this character? Zubari is a down to planet individual, accepting the fact that his home planet is doomed to begin with after first seeing it in the shape as a young unathi and experiencing the life humans do in a city that he spent years living in a human populated city. Being away from his people and spending time with other races steering him away from one's old culture. Making his way around from gambling and work and seeing the fun, eventful side of living in a planet like Mars, encouraging him to have expensive and well-mannered behaviors in social situations. That an aggressive, ill-mannered disrespectful unathi would not pass in a society controlled and being employed by humans. How would you rate your role-playing ability? I'm told I'm an excellent roleplay partner if the moment ever comes to me. Overall, I'm good. Notes: Due to living around humans, the art of tattooing being an interesting art form to him. Zubari inherited the art of body (You could consider it scale) painting, Ranging from coating his horns, claws and scales in a white body paint for cosmetic reasons. I also have a bit of a full reference picture (You'll have to excuse some things, such as his snout and not quite getting it right.) http://i.imgur.com/FeYVQnO.png
  12. How I see is, High-RP follows in a more human like way. Sure, you still got action, people being bombed, gibbed, shot, injured, shocked, mauled to death by a group of humanoid cat creatures and them wearing school uniforms on an expensive, futuristic space station. But you have to add some realism, When it comes to security vs nuke cops, you can expect citizens and other non-security crew to stay out of the crossfire, not have a scientist pick up a gun and go on a killing spree, or a tajara assistant preforming surgery. It's all about your characters doing what their job is. Not to mention being shot four times in the chest isn't an excuse to pick up a gun and go back into a fire fight while you're bleeding out you have a sense of fear and pain, everyone does. The fact with high RP is, You're character has limits, accept it and live with it. They're not a super hero Joe Irondick who wants to solo an entire nuke ops squad.
