I enjoyed it, it was one of the best player organized events Ive seen in a while. I hate that people lost their characters because of it, I hate that I lost my whitelist because of it. If I wasn't 100% sure arguing my point would get me in more trouble, I would have. Thunderdome is literally a sport that is player, aired, and reported on, even on the station. With how Thunderdome is represented, it seems like making your own ring on the station is like playing B-Ball in the holodeck.

I think stuff like this may be why people may not go out of their way to have fun, interesting conflicts and situations on extended anymore.

THe captain alone approved it, not CC. Two people "died," one assistant died because the MD's on the scene made to ensure no one died all went SSD at once in a massive stroke of bad luck, and they didn't adhere to the rule that fighters were supposed to concede if their life was in immediate danger. The other was an IPC who got beheaded, so was easily repairable. Tish talked to me via BYOND, so sadly thats lost to time, but from what I can remember, this is about the just of what was said. "We expect head whitelisted members not to do stupid shit like this. When stuff like this happened, you're slapping me and Dea in the face with our own respect."

Why does the syndi contracts take preference? This is something that could be used every single round, all the time, even if you're not on the server, contracts can only be used in rounds where the appropriate antags are in play.

I recently found my copy of Skyrim again, but sadly all of my saves were corrupted, so, Im looking for new and interesting things to do. I never thought of that, but since they don't have ties with NT, and two of the three companies do have shady names, yeah, I think that could work. Id go as far as to say it'd be comedic that Syndi Ops would be funded by a company thats named after something that sounds like rotting dead bodies and the Grim Reaper. ((Although, fun fact, ReapTec started as a play on a name of some Fantasy lore I wrote.))
