I never made myself a threat. The only thing I did all round was walk outside of cargo as the quartermaster, send Kate one PDA message containing nothing but codes (that should only have proved I could have been an asset to him rather than a thread), and made one, small message on the radio in the bathroom. I was never a threat, I could understand how my radio message made me look like a threat, but Techno was already obviously planning to kill me before I made the radio message, because he had a shotgun ready to kill me before I even made it. As to what I rather would have had happen? I don't care so much that I was killed, I can accept being killed by antags, or for being an antag, or a mix of both, as long as theres a reason, but like I said, I didn't make myself a threat, and even if my radio message did make a me a threat, he was already ready to kill me before I even did that. I would rather have him talk to me, since it was more likely I would have been an asset to him and whatever he was doing, it wasn't really believable that I was an immediate thread that needed to be Cobane'd in the bathroom at that time it happened. Fight meaning "one opened the door on and put three shotguns shells into them while they were typing?" Like I said above, I didn't make myself a threat, the only did I maybe made myself a threat, was when I said one thing over the radio, and Techno was outside the door, ready to kill me anyway.

It was hard to tell if you were really telling the staff to ban you or not, because literally every single post you've made was overly aggressive, I thought you were being sarcastic and passive aggressive.

The only reason Techno wasn't banned was because Garn didn't get enough information, he said so himself, that he didn't know all he needed, either because he didn't ask enough, and Techno didn't tell them the whole story. Also, are we just going to ignore that Techno is going out of his way, to break rule 0, and be dick, posting personal insults directly and indirectly all the forum? That should speak volumes about Techno, that this is how he reacts to complaints about, but when he makes an app or ban appeal, hes suddenly the essence of grace and poise?

I think you should be giving a punishment because you're supposed to be on thin ice, because you had SEVERAL complaints about being a ganky, RPless self antag before you were given even a little rudimentary punishment, and then ganked someone four days after, and lied to a mod, saying you had damning enough evidence kill me, when all you had was seeing someone outside of place of work, and one PDA message. And now here you are throwing personal insults in posts and in your sig, which is supposed to be rule 0, don't be a dick.

Theres three new Aurora's (again) so just watch out for that, once the server, serve is back up again.

But heres the thing, from Garn's complaint about this subject. He admitted he was wrong about not punishing you. And heres another thing. "This person made a complaint because I broke the rules, lets call him salty." Not to mention you, in your own words, had trouble to deciding whether to hide my body to completely remove me from the round, which is, should I remind you, one of the very things that got you antag banned and "on thin ice" and on probation when you got unbanned four days before this happened.

So, hold up, THE most hyped project ever, since before the new map was announced (maybe even more hyped than that), that nearly every single person thought was dead and in the ground, and the staff didn't play this up, at all, that it WASN'T dead? Hell, I remember Skull saying Vacura was dead more than once, I won't lie, I lost my faith in staff, if I knew this was still going on, I might not have been so fast to drop my faith

Well, they do have a big amount and buffs and debuffs. So, that could be the problem, and you also need sprites, the lore is already bigger than any other race, so the problem, I guess, would be sprites, coding the buffs and debuffs, and then the matter of apps and stuff, which itself could be a problem, because theres already a giant backlog of custom item apps.

Well, do you really need more of a reason? Covy was in charge of the project, maybe the only person working on it, and theres also another big project going on, the new map, and a more medium size, and I still feel useless, project, Skulls Aurora website thing.

I know its been assumed that pretty much anyone and everyone now assumes that Vacura is a dead project will never be finished, but while looking at the wiki for a personal project, I found they have their own race page, and it even says you can apply to play them. Did I miss a memo or something about the Vacura? Because, the whole "apply here" thing, the page of Vacura makes the pages of the other races look like child's work comparatively, in both size and complexity. Is there some movement on the Vacura front, pushing them closer to actually be a playable race?

Much like Meow I once used to do medieval. I also did a little apocalypse/survival/what you would want to call roleplaying my character from Fallout: NV, both inside and outside the game. I also, briefly, had some RP's on the Bay12 forums that I made around my own fantasy lore.

Right, that was a giant EMP in sec somehow. I thought implants were immune to EMP. And the I was enthralled before the EMP, so, being implanted and getting enthralled is fine, but getting implanted after being enthralled does things?

If mind enslavement overrides implants, why did I get a message saying I was deconverted when the ERT double implanted me? And beside that, Im not the only one who was disappointed by Garn's play, he said so himself that someone else got peeved. I don't care that I got enthralled, I care that I walked in and I got baton swarmed by three heavily armed security members during dead hour without being talked to, and got enthralled in much the same way. Like I said, Garn was more interested in bolstering his army, rather than what was enjoyable. If he was interested in anything else, he would have said "screw it, I need to focus on the attack right now." but instead he decided he needed another soldier to fight for him, and did nothing for me but bite me and enthrall me. And yes I did mention alternatives, he could have held me hostage, and told the ERT to back off, and taken that chance to actually RP.

You yourself said you saw the ERT coming and scrambled and rushed to make me a vamp, if you really cared about making things interesting, you could have done several other things, instead you rushed to making me fight for you, without saying anything. You cared more about me joining you than anything else here.

Greentexting is something you say when people act like they care more about winning or beating a goal either set by the game or themselves than actually RPing and the enjoyment of other people. You were obviously more interested in having me join your forces and bolstering your forces for the upcoming invasion than the actual enjoyment. If you really wanted an edge, you should have just straight said fuck it and held me hostage instead of trying to turn me into a foot soldier.

No, I COULDN'T fight the ERT, remember that HoS and Cap are implanted? I couldn't fight the ERT, even if I wanted to, I was being nice by not getting up and opening up on the second your gave me an opportunity. I would have been LESS angry if you actually killed me, because then at least you have gotten some use out of me, instead you just stunned me, cuffed me, stripped me, and then drained my blood enough to enthrall me, which is useless. My biggest problem is that this was during dead hour, and you were a head, there was no way anyone short of an ERT could stop you, and you knew that and decided to make an army. Honestly, this is the kind of thing I come to expect from /TG/, not Aurora. It doesn't matter what you wanted to do, or what your plan was, you were acting like a greentext who wanted to succeed more than anything.

I didn't expect a long drawn out monologue, if you were expecting danger, I can understand that you could have done little, but really, the second I walked through the door, all of security started harm batoning me on your orders. How is "she walked in! HARM BATON!" including me in any sort of RP? You didn't even say anything to me even after I was cuffed, even after I was stripped, even after I was enthralled. And why, if we're a high RP server, did you WANT the round to end in a blood bath?

As far as I can tell, he had all of security, except for another newly joined officer, enthralled, and was taunting CC about taking over the station. When I arrived, they had two SSD people held hostage, and as soon as I walked in the door, he ordered two officers to baton me without saying anything, and then proceeded to drink me blood and enthrall, all with zero RP, during a dead hour with 14 people online, and pretty much no one in game. I can understand Garn making a mistake as a mod like all the other complaints about are about, but this is him directly power gaming and playing to win like Vamp was some kind of green text game mode and taking SSD people for hostages. Right, at this point you're both now throwing a bit of dirt at each other. Im not usually the one to step into things, but maybe I can throw a shilling into the well just this once? Now, I wasn't in the server during this round, not even for a second, so I can't and won't judge Delta's or any of the Nuke Op's decisions, but I can say some stuff about whats been said. Like, Delta, you said that would understand more about what Aurora is supposed to be "about" because you've been playing Aurora for so long, but that might not automatically make you in the right. Remember "Ho-Lee Shit."? The whole fiasco with Farcry and Hive? I can't recall correctly if it was the forums or the server's OOC, but somewhere Skull said this may have been in part because Farcry had been since Aurora since the way back times, and stuff like implanted staff torturing people was acceptable, and you yourself said you were firmly in the stands of saying they were wrong and outside of the rules to do it, even though it was how things were when Farcry was still a regular. Im not saying this pairs perfectly with this situation, but food for thought. In the very same thread mentioned above, you also said you'd have a better chance getting RP out of a piss pot over a security member, thats how 99% of people see nuke ops too, because in your own words, you said its a game mode about terrorists and terrorism, and it looks like most people here agree that the nuke ops here are the "piss pots" in this situation. Id love to say more, but I can't really look down and cite or re read through what was said anymore since your post is gone. So, what I said here, food for thought, etc, etc.

I can see why someone who wasn't a mod/admin would make a complaint about this, but, you're a mod, and isn't Doomy an admin? Why didn't you just take disciplinary actions in game? Isn't it redundant to wait until the round ends to make a complaint, even though you have the means to give them punishment immediately? And, if they did break so many rules, wouldn't this be a ban complaint rather than a player complaint?

I have to admit, Im fairly impressed to see a staff member admit they're wrong, but that does mean, well, you were wrong. I didn't make this thread with the intent of getting Garn taken off the mod roster (which it seems I may have since his little blue bar thing is normal) it was more to point out he did make an error of judgment, and didn't communicate as much as he should, being pointed out of the first reply here by Garn himself, and above as Garn didn't even know what the PDA message said, and that one message being the hinge on Techno's entire excuse, meaning he didn't ask as much as he probably should have on that end as well.

Basically, what would someone be called if they were born on [insert Planet Here]. What I mean is, if it wasn't clear enough, someone from America is American, and someone from China is Chinese, etc. Im interested in the important planets in our lore, like Earth, Luna, Mars, Biesel, and Adhomai.

Bees also need to be turned the fuck down a lot as well, because as it stands bees are killing machines that are hard to kill and can teleport through air tight windows that agro 100% of the time.

A lot of talk about this was made on Garn's staff complaint, since the complaint revolved around what I thought was Garn's poor handling of the situation. Heres some highlights that fit here.
