The PDA MESSAGE, singular, was the code phrases, to a character that wasn't him. Let me just point out again, He was panning and ready to kill me before I did anything. He had zero reason to believe I would sell him out, but he was already poised to kill me. Those are movies. This is a heavy RP server where people are supposed to act with reason.

Its reasonable to believe that pointing a giant shotgun at someone would make them rethink fighting back, so no, its not metagaming, its IC logic. What reasonable reason would he have to believe Id sell him out? He brought the shotgun to the bathroom before I did ANYTHING. He was obviously planning to kill me before I did anything at all, because he would had to go to where ever the shotgun was hidden, go back to where I last was, and then kill me. And he had it ALL ready less than a minute after I said my one and only thing over the radio. And the ONLY reason he knew I was an antag was because we both knew the syndicate code phrases, so we were obviously both RPing to be syndicate agents. What believable reason would he have to think I would sell him out, if we were both working for the same people? If he WASN'T a syndicate agent, then he meta'ed know the syndi code phrases, and if he was playing a syndie agent, then his "believable reason" falls apart even further than what it was from the point above.

What antags are, are non-canon. If antags are non-canon, how would they know at all how someone, especially someone who they've never had a violent/tense encounter with, would react poorly? A lot of PLAYERS. Players. The people who play the characters. OOCly. OOC knowledge.

The difference there is that, that situation is clearly outlined in Doom's footnote about gank. Metagaming. What you're describing there is metagaming.

"Interesting plot twist." I think the thing people here are missing is that Aurora is Heavy RP, and me and Techno had absolutely zero contact, no RP, no interaction outside seeing each other through a window, and he wordlessly killed me with zero reason and purpose. Something else, is like Garn said, Techno is SUPPOSE to be on thin ice, hes SUPPOSED to be on probation, and as was said on page one, he wordlessly killed with zero reason and purpose. From where Im sitting, its not even a question he should have been given a punishment, but instead Garn decided it was an IC issue, and he didn't even tell me he decided that until I asked if I was going to be revived twice.

I said something among the lines of, as someone called Mother Superior "My oh me oh my, Victor and Kate have been oh so naughty." And like it was mentioned on page one, Techno is on probation, he only got unbanned because he promised he already changed. If this is what "change" looks like four, now five, days into his probation, I doubt they changed at all. Obviously this was gank, and he SOMEHOW knew I was the person on the radio who mentioned his name, even though he never once saw me holding or using my agent ID, or any voice changer or anything resembling a gas mask. So he did both of the thinks he promised above not to do. And heres Techno lying through his teeth directly on his antag ban, I assume, even though there are logs of Techno's gank in the situation.

I had zero previous interactions with Techno's character outside of being a bystander as Katelyn gave him an ID and pistol. And no, I honestly don't think this should be taken as a learning experience, Techno had 6-7 character complaints about their antag and general behaviour before even his last antag ban was given, and me and at least two other non-admins thought a hard ban would have been appropriate rather than just an antag ban back then, I still think his/her/their punishment was to lenient.

Thats what he told Garn, but he made that completely invalid by telling medical exactly where to find my body. And he put himself in even MORE danger than I could he, because he told medical my exact location, the location of my dead body, and no one else on the entire station knew where it was.

It served no purpose whatsoever, since Techno turned around and immediately gave medical all the means to make me a threat again as soon as they killed me the first time.

I was hiding in a bathroom stall using a voice changer to talk on the radio, Techno opened the door and started blasting, I had zero time to react, and I was typing to yell whoever open the door to get out because my character was going to use going to the bathroom as their excuse to be in there when I heard the door opening, so I was focused on looking at my keyboard to type rather than whoever opened the door.

Thats all I got to say about that.

Yeah, Im on the same boot as Moom here, I don't even play Alisa or Miracle anymore (my two favourite characters) because Im thinking "Ugh, if Mirk shows up the whole round is gonna devolve into him doing stuff to get them angry."

The reason I numbered this is because theres another complaint against Garn, and I didn't want two threads to have the exact same title as another because that might get confusing.

I had no RP from his illicit activities The only RP I got was from Katelyn, the other antag that round, and even that was minimal because they were more enthralled with what they were doing during the round, understandably. The ONLY time I saw Techno at all that round was when Katelyn threw him a captain's ID one hour earlier, and when he shot me without saying anything. No words no exchanged, no RP was given, and on Garn's staff complaint, it was determined that my death served no purpose other than gank. And here's what was said on Kat's unban appeal approved four days ago. He ganked, while he is supposed to be on probation.

I caught him in the compromising acts a long time ago. It shouldn't have applies to me anymore, at least I think it shouldn't, because that was at least an hour ago when I saw him. "The character in question is a physical threat to you (he is armed or can be reasonably expected to be armed) and catches you IN an illegal or otherwise compromising act." The way this is worded, it sounds like it applies to them being found DURING the criminal actives, at that point, not an hour later. Here is something else I just noticed- If Victor was trying to keep me quiet, why would he explicitly tell medical my exact location so I could be cloned? I wouldn't remember he killed me, so its not to intimidate me, and I can't think of any other reason he would do it than.

Antags are here to improve roleplay. How, in any way at all, did this improve my roleplaying experience, or his? This was gank, if he was going to kill me, he should have talked to me first.

So because he knew I was a traitor, that gives him the excuse to run in and shoot me while saying nothing? How is that fair, at all? I got no RP whatsoever.

BYOND Key: Jboy2000000 Staff BYOND Key: Garnascus Reason for complaint: I feel Garn made a very bad call during an ahelp where I had been ganked by someone who had just had antag ban lifted, and was supposed to be on thin ice because the amount of complaints that lead to the antag ban was substantional. However, Garn decided that Techno metagaming that I had traitor items, and walking into a bathroom and saying absolutely nothing before shooting me three times with a combat shotgun was an IC issue after an "investigation" that lasted a very short amount of time from what I could tell, watching Techno's character stare at nothing for a few minutes, and left me completely un-included, saying absolutely nothing to me past saying he was going to talk to them. Evidence/logs/etc: Sadly, I have no idea how to use the log system, even though I thought I did it right, so I have no logs to give, but as of posting this, the round ending less than 10 minutes ago, so Im hoping it won't be to much of a task for admins to go back and look, Im sorry for that. Additional remarks: This is Garn's second staff complaint about them making questionable decision in a very short time. Something to consider.

Evidence: Sadly the log system escaped me as to how to use it, but Garn said he watched it happen, so he should be able to say this happened. I was a traitor during an auto traitor round, and I used an agent ID and voice changer to say something over the radio, saying Katelyn and Victor, two of the other traitors, had been naughty. Seconds later, Victor bursted intot he bathroom stall I was using with a combat shotgun, and shot me three times, without saying a single word. I ahelped and Garn responded, and I thought that was it. Garn later told me he ruled it was an IC issue after doing an investigation. I completely and utterly disagree with what Garn decided, and Ill be making a staff complaint about Garn later as well, because this was very clearly gank, and Techno is supposed to be on very thin ice considering the numerous amount of complaint they had before they were finally punished.

So, does that mean antags aren't allowed to carry over what happened in round A to round B?

Who Meow and Baka said, and Jackboot, no one said that, but roleplaying does get much less fun when nearly every single round day in and day out has a someone with a gun going around shooting or stabbing people, or someone someone eating people's faces off, or something else, because they people have to hide in their departments, or go get killed. I don't see why people bash Extended for chairRP, but its antag rounds that actively make antag rounds because there is NO WAY amtags can involve every single person on station in whatever it is their doing.

What it says on the tin. The Gem Encrysted Hardsuit and the gloves that spawn with it should be wearable by all species, or spawn to fit the species that spawns it, because its only for humans as it is now, and if you try to change it, it changes the hardsuit entirely.

What I mean by that, is, I just put up my wizard lore for canonization, but, how does that work? Generally, things that are considered canon exist 100% of the time, but wizards are antags, so them and their actions be considered canon, right? So, does antag lore only exist IN antag rounds, or would stuff like wizards just become part of the normal lore in all rounds?

The people who end up on the new planet are people who already had magical powers, which as far as I know isn't explained by our lore, and it gets enhanced by a blue space anomaly, and they get warped to the other end of the anomaly.
